[OPEN] Tython Duel

[Carud Aaray]

Kaji stood with his arms folded in a small training room on Tython dressed in his light brown trainng gear that he used in his last duel. Today he just felt lucky wanting to do anything, as he had recently dueled with a very skilled Jedi by the name Juno. She taught him how to be light on his feet and to move as if he were a dancer, he loved the help. He removed his light saber from his belt moving his shoulder to get his tentacle's off his shoulder. Since he did not have a master yet he would study daily to learn thing's before he got one so he could be prepared.

He turned around as he heard the door shoot open. ''Ahhh an opponent?

Chora had returned to the jedi under her last master's orders. As of yet she had not made her presence known to any of the other padawans or initiates in the order. She had not attended any classes or even began seeking a master. The truth was she was nervous. She knew nothing of her past and she did not even know where her future would bring her yet. She is unsure of who she is, and has yet to decide what her goals in life are. One thing she was familiar with though is combat. Chora had heard of the dueling rooms, and decided to try and clear her mind with a nice duel.

As she walked into the room a Nautolan turned to face her, weapon already drawn.

" Yes, if you will have me "

Chora brought her lightsaber to her hand and activated it, a blue blade emerging.

He turned and noticed a young female Jedi. He had never seen her before in the temple so this would be a good experience. She activated her saber as did him, he lifted his blade up into an ataru stance.

''This should be interesting''

He dashed forwards towards her with his saber held in both hands flowing behind him, as he came to her he lifted onto his toes spun back around until his heels of his feet touched the floor then bringing the hilt of his saber towards the side of her head.

Chora watched as the other jedi ran towards her, but suddenly stopped and performed an unnecessary spin which would make it take quite a while for his blade to actually reach her. As he went in to the spin Chora dashed forwards and to the left, coming to his back which was defenseless while his blade and eyes faced the other way.

Without hesitation she lightly swung her blade to nick the back of his knees just deep enough where it would impair him if a direct hit was made, but not enough to cause any serious permanent damage. She did not stop with that though, she continued the momentum of her blade, allowing the swing from the back of his knees to move upwards and the blade to move into a defensive position as he would most likely react to her attack.

(All of this happens in about five or so seconds)

She was quick but his movement's were swift as lightning, he almost expected her movement's as the Jedi Juno once told him. He jumped up missing her blue blade feeling the air shift towards the back of his knee's. Before landing on his feet he turned his body lifting his blade to her's as there blades connected. His blade almost seemed as if it was stuck to hers as he landed back onto his feet trying to over power her by shifting his weight forward his blade pressed against her's.

''Ahh very good.''

He leapt backwards along with his blade still holding it in both hands. This was of course going to be a challenge.

Chora remained silent with a very peaceful look on her face, almost as if she was in a trance. As Kaji leaped backwards she rushed forwards, showing a much more aggressive side of her combat style as she lunged her blade forwards aiming for his gut. If he did not manage to dodge it or block the strike, she would not push her blade all the way through. She would simply slash across his gut which would make movement very painful until the wound had been treated.

He could sense that her angry was getting the best of her, she did not even need the anger. As he landed she charged at him more fierce then ever, he held his blade up more ready then before. He dared not to blink as she rushed forward, this was an attack he had to counter. Before she could stop her deadly rush he did a quick front flip over her putting his hand on her shoulder to aid his jump, as her back was visible he used the force to attempt to force push her in the wall that was in front of her.

While she was in her lunge, she felt his hand take hold of her shoulder. She reacted instantly releasing her blade with her left hand and pulling Kaji's blade as he was distracted releasing a force push. As his blade went to her hand she deactivated it as well as her own, crossing her arms in front of her so that she fell into a roll instead of being slammed into the ground by the push.

Chora rose from the roll, turning as she did so to face Kaji again. She activated both blades and began running towards Kaji striking with a horizontal body slash with the right blade (her own) and a bottom to top slash with his own blade.

He was impressed she surely had token his saber from his hands, the least thing he could do was lose his saber. He came back down to his feet still admiring her movements. Whoever this girl was she was deadly. He folded his arms behind his back as she charged but this time she activated both blades coming at him fast. Knowing that his light saber was just a training light saber he let it catch the side of his shoulder making him bend down in pain.

As she slashed with her own blade he grabbed her hilt in his right hand leaping in the air just a little until he was in center with her chest. He used both feet to kick off her chest with his light saber still in hand, as he kicked off her chest he would come down back to his feet into a bending low guard position.

As Kaji brought his feet onto her chest with his dominant hand holding onto her saber, she smirked. It was the first sign up emotion she had shown, and it was there mainly due to her opponents foolishness. Her left hand was completely free and still held his weapon. Training saber or not, the blade would still burn his flesh.

Before he attempted to bound off of her with her blade in his hand, Chora jabbed the blade into the inside area of his arm where the joints met (inside elbow). The attack would already leave a bad burn and cause much pain, but if Kaji did not release her blade as he jumped off the training saber would leave a very severe burn that could scar and leave permanent nerve damage.
