JEDI. IT SEEMED LIKE EVERYONE WAS OUT TO GET THEM. Unfortunatley for Abeos (@Quazi), one of those people was Vorn Thracken. Unlike some killers, Vorn was not all that keen on the gung-ho mentality adopted by his peers, and as such, when he had picked up word that one of the manic monks was on Corellia, he had opted to see if he could take them down. After all, for one-million credits, even Vorn was willing to let his ethics slide. His information broker had demanded a percentage of the take sure, but at least the data they had provided was worth it.

Coronet City was after all, a big place, and it would have been akin to finding a needle in a hay-stack attempting to sniff the Jedi out on his own. From what he had gathered, the Jedi was lodging, someplace cheap and near the star-port, a clever idea for someone whose saber fetched a pretty penny, especially when it came minus the owner. Stepping out of Phantom Corsair, his personal air-speeder, Vorn ensured his Hit-Series Suit was covering his two pistols, and opened the boot of his vehicle, removing the case containing his sniper and grenades, and closing it again with a smooth click.

As far as any passers by would be concerned, he was just another suit in a sea of suits, a faceless drone in the relentless machine of corporate power that dominated Corellia, and thus - he passed unnoticed. He walked briskly, but not to fast so as to attract unwanted attention, his eyes shielded behind his knock-off Vindlers, as he scanned his surroundings, spotting a holonet installer 'relieving himself' in one of the nearby alleys.

"Bingo." he remarked to himself, approaching as the man moved down the alley and out of sight. Vorn moved quickly, and unseen, bashed the man over the head, before slipping off the workers overalls, and sliding his body under the nearby garbage bags. His sniper case, he concealed within the workers bag, and pulling the unconcious mans cap over his head, he walked out into the street - transformed, and unnoticed. Walking into the nerest lodge, he approached the owner -

"Morning. HoloHype Controls, just checking the connection speeds in this district."

"That's up on the roof mate."

"Usually is boss, you got keys?"

The owner shrugged, and handed Vorn one of the keys off his belt, pointing to the back door which, when opened, lead to a ladder to the roof. Climbing the ladder quickly, Vorn was soon atop the building, and placed a metal crowbar over the handles of the door to prevent any unwanted visitors to the roof. Opening his bag, he got out his sniper - keeping it covered, as he turned on the scout HUD in his Vindlers, and scanned the streets below for his target.

Quickly, he double checked his commlink, and seeing the message there, cursed under his breath.

"Buddy. Got better offers, so - ain't exlusive no more. I've passed the information to some cartel dudes, and the guild. Soz. x"

Double-Crossing Scum Bag, he snarled to himself. Evidently, his information broker had better ideas, and had opened the information on the Jedis location to the mass market. Great. he cursed inwardly, keeping his eyes peeled in case anyone else decided to nab his target ahead of schedule.

Theme
The woman had not much cared for the center of the galaxy but that was where the work took her sometimes. Dressed in a dark outfit she had on her Hippeus Protective Kit over it, concealing her face and where she was looking as well as providing some protection as she flew by on a Terrex speeder she took off her ship. Her small jacket covered her weaponry. To the ignorant viewer she was just a speed freak zooming through the lanes of the planet.

The information was solid but had been given to her without too much negotiating. Not one to go back on her word and damage her reputation Chiffon had still paid the informant though his readiness to inform told her there would likely be others gunning for the target. She would not want to be the Jedi right now.

She would stop a half block away from the motel she had pinned down as the most likely place the individual resided. Dismounting her bike she did not look to be in a hurry. Her body language was calm, as far as anyone else was concerned she was here to spend the night, or meet someone for the type of thing that warranted the Pay-by-the-hour type of service. But people usually mistook for someone of that profession. It was fine by her, it made ending them that much more enjoyable.

She walked to the front door and went up to the receptionist. "I think somebody is tagging the side of the building with some spray paint hun." She said, throwing a thumb over her shoulder. The man behind the counter looked surprised, confused and angry all at the same time. It was not a top tier level establishment but the man had some pride. He would come out from behind the receptionist's desk with a stun baton and go around the outside of the building to try and find the non-existent hoodlums that were vandalizing his property.

Using this opening the Echani would go around behind the counter and check the books. She cross referenced the names with the possible aliases the jedi might use. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the emergency exit sign that was posted at most corners and ripped it off. It would tell her the layout of the building and she quickly memorized it.

Abeous had been on the down low a while now. First there was a bounty on lightsabers, now a bounty on the Jedi. Abe didn't feel like being nabbed tonight, and where he was positioned right now did not help him at all. He did have his lightsaber on him, fortunately, but that wouldn't matter if he was being mugged since that would be taken away, but for now he had it, and would be able to use it. Hopefully. Right now, Abe was lounging in his room, a nice house he was able to afford. He decided to take a stroll outside, what could it hurt, it would be near impossible to take him out, so Abe got up, and walked out the door, locking the door. Then, he sensed danger. What could that be? Anything. He put his hood over his head, and started walking down the ally, and thought he spotted a shadow on a roof.

Vorn continued to scan the streets below him, but he had to admit he was somewhat shocked when the Jedi just walked out into the open. He did not hesitate, gently supressing the trigger of his sniper rifle as the weapon was aligned to send the shot careening toward the Jedi's unarmoured head. The shot was designed as a killing blow, intended to turn the targets head into a mist of red the moment it made impact.

As Abe walked through the ally, he sensed danger. Immediately, a shot fired towards Abe. Insinticly, he ducked, the bullet missing his head by inches, but instead hitting his shoulder. He crouched, noting that the shot had come from one of the houses roofs. He took out his lightsaber, and ignited it.

Eivor had dragged Jace to Corellia to just to prove to him a point that Corellians were the most stuck up, pretentious, braggarts in the galaxy. She had dragged hm to one cantina in particular. A bit of a hole-in-the-wall establishment that seemed to draw only the local crowd. Everyone inside were Corellians and Jace and her were the only outsiders present. They stuck out like a sore thumb even if they were dressed in civilian clothing. The girl instigated a debate, and after a couple shots of Corellian whiskey, Eivor was being quite obnoxious. Enough so, it got the both of them thrown out.

"Seee, jerks, the all of them." she said in an exaggerated fashion, she quickly patted down her jacket, suddenly fearful she had misplaced her credits, feeling her saber and other belongings, she let out a sigh of relief, "Nearly gave myself a heart attack..." she smiled, but it quickly disappeared when a loud echo of a gun shot rang through the streets, it almost sounded like it exploded from the rooftops above them. Eivor's senses instinctively reached out, her sense of danger apparent as she glanced to Jace, flashing him a smirk before hurrying to a dumpster, using it as jump point to get to the fire ladder.

Quickly the girl climbed the stairs, her steps were silent as she buried her presence by the aid of the Force as it flowed through her, looking to get the upper hand on who ever was firing their weapon in such a public area. She slowed as she peaked over the ledge. She frowned seeing the stair's exit obstructing her view. She didn't wait for Jace to join her as she kept to a low crouch, letting her senses guide her until she saw the back of a figure in front of her, separated by a low rooftop, but Eivor had undoubtedly believe that was their shooter.

Jace Tokani couldn't believe that he had let himself get talked into this ridiculous expedition to Corellia. He had been to Corellia before, but hadn't really stopped to consider the locals and how pretentious they were compared to the rest of the Galaxy's population. Surely, they couldn't be as bad as the Mandalorians. While he had never been to Mandalore, the few of those mercenaries who had hailed from that planet were easily some of the most stuck-up and staunchly arrogant nerf-herders he'd ever met. Everyone else seemed pale by comparison, though the Echani did give them a decent run for their money, especially when one put both in the same room. And if that room was a bar? There was likely to be copious amounts of violence and destruction of property.

For now, though, Jace just had to deal with the little redheaded Jedi Knight and her opinion that Corellians were the absolute worst. As he followed her into this little, hole-in-the-wall establishment, he scratched his head, running his fingers through his long brown hair. Looking around, he didn't see much in the way of non-humans, and judging by the accents, everyone seemed to be a local. And of course, Eivor just couldn't help herself from making a stir as she deliberately started a debate and was purposely obtuse and obnoxious. When both of them got kicked out of the little bar, Jace rolled his eyes at her, shaking his head as called them jerks. Sure, they had been rude, but they had hardly started the argument or the incessant slur of curses and swear words that followed.

Sighing, he looked at the young woman as she patted herself down, "Well, you know, red, that's typically what happens when you start swearing at people and calling them, their entire family, and their pets awful things. And I mean, if you really wanted to be insulting, you should maybe go with something else other than Corellian whiskey and then insult Corellian whiskey as being piss water. Just a couple of thoughts for our next bar."

Suddenly, there was a loud crack as a gunshot echoed through the streets followed by the distinct snap as the round ricocheted off of something hard like the street or a solidly built wall. Instinctively, Jace looked up, trying to source where the gunshot came from. It sounded like it came from above, which would likely mean the shooter was some form of sniper. That wasn't good. Feeling for the hilt to his sapphire blue lightsaber, Jace held it close in one hand trying to decide how to get to the roofs. Watching Eivor leap to a nearby fire ladder using a dumpster, the Jedi Knight rolled his eyes and let out a quiet grown. So impetuous...

Following closely to Eivor, Jace was glad he was wearing his regular spacer outfit, so he looked like a regular person, but this time he had kept the gauntlets of his armor attached to give him some forearm protection, though it would hardly be noticeable beneath the sleeves of his jacket. Under his jacket, he hid his second lightsaber as well as his blaster pistol. Doing his best to stay quiet, Jace watched as his partner came to the ledge and peaked over. This whole time, Jace had been careful to keep his eyes open, and ears listening, using the Force to try and sense anyone around him and any potential danger. With his hand on his saber hilt, he peaked the top of his head over the edge of the ledge with the redhead, spotting a man with a rifle on an adjacent rooftop. It was likely that this was their shooter. The only question now was what to do with him. Giving Eivor a quiet tap on the back, he glanced at her and gave her a nod indicating that he was ready and waiting for her to move before going back to looking around the nearby rooftops and windows for anyone else who might be involved and interested in shooting up a couple of Jedi.

He held his breath for a moment looking about as he seemed to be obliviously in the midst of some sort of combat. One moment he is meditating and the next the all too familiar sound of gunfire filled his senses, his eyes shot open to see a pair of people performing some incredible acrobatics (@GABA @Kori Buor). Not anything of typical nature he had seen before, generally something only feasible with what he had been instructed was 'the force' the same energy that flowed through him periodically and irregularly.

As he unfolded his legs and shot to his feet Ditch was met by a heavy set man brandishing a stun baton; who by all accounts was not happy to see him. Confused with the large man charging him Ditch was interested enough in what was going on to want to stick around and get to the bottom of it. Taking a defensive stance with his staff Ditch focused on the ensuing, not wishing to end his life if he did not need to but prepared to fight for his own no matter who the attackers be.

As Ditch had seen it thus far there were two sides to this predicament he had found himself, one shooting and one jumping. Well three sides if you count Ditch and this building manager, asserting his position he called out
"Sir I do not want to harm you, but I will if I have to" as he twisted his heel on the duracrete.

Ditch steeled himself, focusing inward and readying his body and mind even after having broken his meditation he felt more balanced than not. Which by all accounts was good, the last thing he wanted to do was lose control and go overboard atleast not before he figured out what the hell was going on here.

It was probably a fair assumption that things are going south, and fast. With his shot having missed the force user by millimeters, and now seemingly every hooded person in the area revealed to be a Jedi Knight or something similar, Vorn was under no illusion that he needed to get out, and fast. He did not notice the person climbing up the fire-escape ladder (which was annoying, as that had been his preferred method of escape) but as he stowed away his rifle in the bag from which he had produceed it, and turned around - she was hard to miss.

Vorn reacted instinctivly, pulling out his pistol and firing off a burst of shots at his assailant. He had to get out of here, and fast - his preferred route having been scuppered somewhat, so he simply turned after letting off his shots, and bolted for the other side of the roof - which would enable him to jump onto the neighboring roof, and maybe make his escape there.

Abe watched as the dark sillouete ran off into the dark. Abe chased after him, jumping on a trashcan, then leaping onto the roof. Then he ran in the direction of the shooter.

They had caught the man by surprise as he turned around to see the bright red head facing him from the adjacent rooftop, but he reacted as any criminal would react and wiped out his blaster, firing at the Jedi with a consecutive burst of shots. As instinctual as his firing, her speed and agility was unmatched as she evaded the shots, moving slightly to her left as she let them pass harmless past her.

He was a bold one for sure, but he certainly was going to put up a fight especially with a Jedi. When he finished firing he went for his escape, turning swiftly with his weapon bag at hand to leap to the neighboring rooftop. The Force extended from the woman's finger tips, watching him as she felt him weightless in the air and then back down on the next rooftop. The Force tightened around his body, freezing him in place, he could try to take another step to run, but would find he would not go anywhere.

The girl breathed in through her nose and exhaled, her palm was extended, her finger tips slightly flinching as she felt the strings of the Force holding the rifleman in place. "I want him alive Jace." she said slowly taking a step forward, as not to break her focus until Jace could reach the man and hold him.

The sound of a blaster discharging and the sight of Eivor ducking to the side made Jace hunker down and away from his companion so that he was clear of the ledge and protected so that he wouldn't get hit. Once the blaster bolts passed and he saw Evee extend her hand, feeling the way the Force moved around him as she called on it, Jace brought his lightsaber out and hopped over the ledge onto the roof.

There was a human-looking man there in a nice suit. That caused Jace to raise an eyebrow as he wondered if they had stumbled onto some kind of assassination operation. Glancing to Eivor, Jace sighed when she told him she wanted the man alive. "Oh, you're no fun..." he muttered as he started approaching the man at a brisk pace. Calling back over his shoulder, a humorous tone to his voice, "You know, he can still survive without his arms and legs."

Jace would keep an eye on the man in case he managed to break free of Eivor's grip in the Force, though given how powerful she was, he doubted that it would happen. Still, it was better to be safe than sorry, and so he gathered on the Force himself, ready to push the man away should he break free and have a dangerous weapon like a grenade, and he also had his lightsaber ready should the man get a shot off at him. Once he was close, and assuming he was still under Evee's hold, Jace would pull the blaster out of his hand, before performing a brief search under his coat and of his waistline for concealed weapons revealing a holdout blaster on his back. Removing any other obvious weapons, Jace would then clip his lightsaber to his belt, and standing behind the shooter, grip his back between the shoulder blades, his shooting arm, and sweep his leg bringing him roughly to the ground.

Once he was on the ground, Jace would wrench the shooter's arm behind his back, driving his knee into that elbow and torquing his wrist so that if he tried to move Jace could easily break his wrist. The Jedi would place his other knee into the small of the man's back, keeping him pinned. His other hand would be free to call on the Force or use his lightsaber to defend himself should the need arise, though he was also hoping Evee would have his back during this time, too. "Alright, no sudden moves or you'll find a lightsaber in your back, got it? Keep your head turned away, legs cross, and your other arm extended."

The portly man upon seeing Ditch was not so keen on stunning some local ruffian who might in turn give him one hell of a fight. The man turned and returned back the way he came presumably to his desk in the front of the building; Ditch turned his attention back to the man who had sprinted past and onto the roof to join the other figures who had gone forth prior.

Moving towards the pair of buildings the commotion had come from Ditch came along the right side, making sure to keep unexposed to the motel he had come from. Who knows if the shooter has friends or if the shadowy trio had associates either, unaware of which side of the war they were on he would do his diligence to keep his allegiances a mystery.

Instead of making his presence known Ditch went inside, peeling his hood back as he reached the front desk. It was unmanned and he quickly reached over snatching the public hololine and dialing the emergency number "Theres been a shooting, send help quickly the mans dying!" as he hung up the call having alerted the authorities Ditch moved to exit the building and re-mingle with the closest group of people.

Evee rolled her eyes as Jace yelled back that he could do just fine without his limbs, "No Jace..." she grumbled, holding the man until Jace apprehended him. She would not idle and as soon as her fellow Knight had the shooter into the ground, she quickly joined his side.

Kneeling down, she placed her hand against the man's head, the Force pressing down with it, he would feel as though she were going to crush his skull right there, however, instead he would feel someone digging through his thoughts. Eivor was not gentle in the process, easily finding his purpose was to bag himself a Jedi.

"Tsk, tsk, looks like he was looking for Jedi to cash in on," she glanced at Jace who would have still be holding him in place also, "Wrong choice, buddy." Evee crouched down, making sure he could see her eye to eye, "So here is what I'm going to tell you, I'll make you a deal, continue to hunt Jedi for your own profit and my friend and I will hunt you for our own satisfaction. Or, you can continue to hunt Jedi, but instead of profiting for yourself, you comm me and let me know where they are and you may find yourself with a prize for your continued efforts." the girl explained, tapping his cheek with her palm.

"Up to you." she scribbled her digits on a piece of paper and kissed it, leaving a light pink lip print, as though she were giving him a love note. Evee tucked it into his pocket, "Tell you what, I'll even take care of your rifle for you." she picked it up and threw the bag over her shoulder. "If you want it back, comm me." The Jedi rested her hand on his head, sending him to unconsciousness. The redhead looked at Jace.

"You should keep his blaster." she said standing up, her senses stretched outward as her grey eyes scanned the area. "We'll I've had enough of this place, you should show me if the Mandalorians are worst." she winked at Jace leading the way out of the city.

Sighing, Jace shook his head as Evee walked up to the pinned man and probed his mind with the Force revealing he had come there looking to grab some easy credits with the bounty on Jedi. "Well, given how the caliber of Jedi these days seems to have fallen from six years ago, I can't blame him for looking for an easy score. Really, he just had some bad luck that both of us were around this time."

Waiting as Eivor crouched down so that she could look into the man's eyes, she told him that if he continued hunting Jedi for his own personal profit that they would come after him. Jace chuckled darkly as she made this statement, and he shifted his weight on the man's back to make it especially uncomfortable for the bounty hunter, just to prove the point. Then Evee offered the man the carrot, promising a reward if he found Jedi for her instead. The Jedi Knight wondered what she was getting at, but he figured that she knew what she was doing.

Breathing in as he watched Eivor write her number down on a piece of paper and then give it a kiss before stuffing it into his pocket, Jace snickered and smirked. The redhead certainly knew how to be theatrical about things, that was certain. Taking the man's sniper rifle, the powerful Jedi Knight then used the Force to knock the man into unconsciousness. Looking at her as she told him to keep the man's blaster, Jace laughed a bit louder now. "Maybe I will. Don't know if I'll have a use for it. But maybe it'll be a nice reminder of what happens when he picks the wrong target. Speaking of which..." He began rummaging through the man's pockets looking for loose change.

Grabbing the handful of credits, he patted the unconscious bounty hunter's cheek. "Now, I hope you learned your lesson." He chortled as he stood up off the man looking at the diminutive redhead next to him as she made a comment about him showing her if Mandalorians were really worse than Corellians. "Oh, it would be my pleasure, dear. I just hope you're ready for some really abrasive and cocky people. Might even get challenged to a few duels while we're at it!" Jace gave Eivor a wink as he tuck the man's blaster into his belt and followed her out of the city. He certainly wasn't expecting all of this to happen, but he wasn't about to complain about the outcome.

Abe climbed up to the roof, and saw the shooter, being held by two other people. Not wanting to have a confrontation, and seeing that the situation had already diffused itself, Abe walked away.
