As much as he detests using the lightsaber, K'hlanu is not ignorant enough to assert that it plays no part in the daily lives of his Order. He cannot survive using the Dark Side alone. As the light blue display of the hologram device begins to coat the floor, the young man faces his false enemy, donning elegant cultist robes of an ancient group that has long since been lost to the annals of Sith lore. One hand grips the extended handle of his Saberstaff, and he steps forward onto the floor. Replacing the nebulous darkness lent to him by his robes, he places a decorative, cortosis mask over his face, lifting the black hood over the crown of his head. The visage of a young man, about his age, appeared in holographic form before him. A Jedi Padawan, wielding a green lightsaber. Unlike most Sith, K'hlanu takes a short bow before his opponent, flourishing his blades. In the otherwise dark room, the sabers glowing a deep red like the tender fire of gas giant stars in the night. A muffled voice came from behind the mask, uttering a ritualistic prayer.
"Galez tave jen' garthaz brauk won tu'iea yda," the voice chanted. May the Dark Side wipe free your sin, in the ancient tongue of the pureblood Sith.
Machines could not be wavered by the awe inspiring power of the Saberstaff. They only knew probability. Percents. A vertical swipe of the saberstaff, twenty five percent. A three hundred sixty degree spin, rendering a double blade assault; ten percent. An aerial attack, fifty percent. He went for the less obvious option; a three hundred sixty degree spin that lashed both blades in a circular motion against the holographic enemy, followed up by a reverse spin looking to cut at his opponent's right arm. It responded with a horizontal block. The Sith channeled the Force through his core, ejecting it through his legs in order to jump behind the Padawan, stabbing the blade into its back. The light flashed to the right as his opponent spun, avoiding the attack. A long day, indeed.
OOC: Anyone may join in and replace the hologram for a spar.
