OOC: Battle: Rhommamool- Space

Alright this thread will serve as the OOC discussion for the current battle that would take place between Rhommamool, and the Hutts. I also want to make it clear to everyone that Rhommamool is not under Republic control even though it is close to Denon, and also this takes place right after the Denon battle. Which means this is happening while the Republic are mourning their dead on Denon, and while the Hutts are fighting the resistance forces on on Bothawui.

That is pretty much it for now....if any one wants to join feel free to post here, and I am sure we will find a way to fit you in.

I am clearly familiar with that fact. :CHappy On a side note Rhommamool is located between Iktotch and Denon so it is pretty much between the Republic, and the Hutts in the Mid Rim.

TBH if the Republic isn't protecting it, the planetary defenses would be laughable at best and they'd most likely surrender to a government which controls an entire region of space.

there are two battlegroups- a battlegroup is 16 ships. This would be a non-priority target, so they would be similar to Skyfire Battlegroup as seen in the Naval thread.

This...also just so that no one gets confused I am commanding one battlegroup only while Crunchy is commanding the other.

If Immortal wants to try to defend this world, he's welcome to try - he is one of the Republic's Supreme Commanders, after all, and it's not like he's taking an entire fleet in.

May I see a list of all of the ships the hutts are bringing? I'd like to just know what's on the field because I see a lot of contradicting terms.

For example, I see reference to Capital ships but specific classifications of destroyers and cruisers. Destroyers and Cruisers are SUB-capital ships. Things like Carriers are Capital ships, but Destroyers are actually not all that armed or large relative to Capitals.

Destroyers and Cruisers are capital ships. A capital ship is anything over 100 meters, regardless of role or armament.

It also depends on the class of the ship tbh...There are heavy ships, light ships, escort ships and they all have different size, capacity, and function.

On a side note currently the Tribal destroyer is probably the biggest and second most powerful ship in the Hutt Empire after Tusa's personal ship.

Edit: Also capital ships are not necessary big and have huge expensive uber awesome cannons....just like what Nexus said any ship bigger than 100 meters is considered a capital ship.

Biggest ship on the field doesn't do much for me. And yes, in star wars a Capital ship means any ship, I already noted that, I happen to feel differently.

3 - Battleship - Tribal-class Star Destroyers -
ect ect.

I just want to know what is there.
