And the reason I wanted this to come about, I have plans for my character. Tolt'orr has a vengeance to due to the death of Davik Lorso, and is doing this for business, as he is the Coruscant Exchange boss. A strike at Czerka to make way for the Exchange.

Hey bro, as stated before we are happy to have you in the Exchange, but please do not target Czerka as a faction. The Exchange has no desire to target Czerka at this stage. Even though you are appointed as the captain of Exchange operations, please don't antagonize other factions without running it by me man.

That being said, i appreciate your desire to make a deep backstory for your character and get started! i'm as eager as anyone for the Exchange to get rolling soon.

In the case that Davik didn't die, I still wanted a reason to attack Czerka. Thus, you were given that which I first sent you. I needed justification.

If a faction is not approved, then no, it cannot be used in the RP.

I apologize for any confusion. We are waiting approval and trying to get adequate members. I never gave any communication for the Exchange to be involved officially in any type of thread.

If I said, hey, you just killed my guy's employer, he's pissed, it doesn't exactly make you want to agree now does it? And at the moment, you had only attacked Davik, not confirmed killed him. And if the Exchange can't be used yet it won't be mentioned. The reason still stands, Tolt'orr is pissed for you snuffing an old client, and ally.

If vengeance is not permitted, we can call it all off.

Also, even if we could be, please do not act against other Factions without checking with me first. The Exchange doesn't have any desire to antagonize Czerka, regardless of if we are approved at this stage or not.

Davik Lorso is Tolt'orr's old employer.

As much as i hate to jump in... How does Tol'torr know that Davik died? And more importantly, how does he know Czerka is responsible?

It doesn't go unnoticed when someone who hires you goes missing. He dug around a bit. He doesn't know specifically who, only that it was Czerka.

OOC deception and outright lying won't be tolerated, regardless of IC motivations. Behind each member profile is a person and a community member. If you cannot create a distinction between IC and OOC in terms of how you approach and handle each other as members, then don't interact with one another - but do not lie. It is a massive breach of trust that goes against everything we strive for here on SWRP.com.

@Dankar Maple No one knows that Czerka was behind it. Davik was contacted by a stranger and died by the hands of that stranger. Czerka was never mentioned, not pre-thread nor in the thread itself. Furthermore, timeline-wise, Tol'torr wouldn't have been hired yet as our cantina thread was to take place after Davik's meeting with the stranger.

I appreciate you trying to avenge Davik, but don't stoop to this level mang. If you still want to IC-link with a former Exchange boss we can always do criminal stuff with Davik's filthy Cathar of a son.

Wow. Had no idea of this meta. Dankar didnt tell the party that revenge was the mission either. If not a lie, he exploited the party to benefit himself. Which is just as bad in my oppinion, if not worse.
