Onsori Planetfire
NAME: Onsori Planetfire
FACTION: The New Jedi Order
RANK: Jedi Padawan
SPECIES: Zabrak
AGE: 20
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 6'2 1/2"
WEIGHT: 210 pounds
EYES: Brown
HAIR: Black
SKIN: Tan
CREDITS: 1,000
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Vestigial horns, black facial tattoo in the design of a tree
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes
STRENGTH: Naturally as a Zabrak, he is very physically strong, capable of feats of strength greater than human men even greater in size. He is very lean and muscular.
DEXTERITY: Planetfire is very flexible, especially in the upper body, but he is overall agility is not very noteworthy beyond the expected footwork of a seasoned boxer.
CONSTITUTION: Possessing a system adjusted to using two, four chambered hearts, he has far greater endurance and stamina than the average human. By the distance, there are few human athletes capable of out distancing him, similar to most Zabrak. As a Jedi, he is also in great physical shape as a Zabrak athlete. Also, like every other Zabrak, he has a great resistance to pain.
INTELLIGENCE: Notably above average in intelligence, but more physically inclined. Planetfire is very sharp, intellectually encompassing, and is very good at the subjects he knows. He has a great general breadth of knowledge.
WISDOM: In certain subjects, Planetfire could be considered quite wise. He is considered a very old soul. However, he is also still young and there are a great deal of things still not touched upon in his life. While he is considerably as wise as someone ten years old, there is still a good deal of gaps in his sagacity. For example, he will sometimes speak out of turn.
CHARISMA: Possessed of a rather "witty" quality, Planetfire enjoys memorizing hilarious idioms, catch phrases, and certain terms that he finds entertaining. He will often repeat many things he hears continuously as jokes, either well placed or not. He also possesses a very high vocabulary, mainly due to his reading comprehension skills, bilingualism, and Force sensitivity.
APPEARANCE:
Being a person possessing of high individuality, Planetfire's appearance is quite recognizable and he can be mistaken for few others in the galaxy. He is taller than the average member of his species, being half an inch away from 6'3". He also has a lithe frame with notably long arms and legs, as if meant to dissipate heat better. His Zabrak biology and regular exercise makes him very muscular and lean looking, sporting well defined muscle on his lanky body. Most that see him in more revealing clothing note that he looks far more built than his appearance often lets on due to his clothing choice. His tan skin is rough looking from time spent on dryer and hotter planets that drained the moisture from his skin. Planetfire's growth spurts were also notably uneven as his skin possesses stretch marks that go completely up his back, down his upper arms, at the bottom of his abdomen, and even across his chest somewhat where extra length and muscle came in suddenly. His face is very young looking, smooth and defined by a strong chin, accented by his specie's inability to grow facial hair. The deep shade of brown that makes up his irises is so dark that it appears black to most that look at them, making them better at absorbing light in dark conditions. His head is oblong and his black hair grows in a more mohawk pattern due to his horns. He prefers to keep his hair short with a tapered neckline however. By far his most striking visuals are his horns, which crown his head and form a V-shape right between his eyes, taking the place of his non-existent eyebrows and made more notable by a slightly prominent brow. Adorning his face is an intricate set of tattoos meant to tell a story of his life. There are abstract symbols that signify many meanings: his mother, his home, and his iron will. They tell the story of the hardship he has had in his life, and the person that those hardships have turned him into. While these facial markings may appear very intimidating to others, they are a rather complex story to those who are willing to listen.
PERSONALITY:Planetfire is a deeper and more complex individual than most, having many traits and subcategories to his personality that take many by surprise as they begin to understand him more. His heritage and race make up a great deal of his personality. However, his individuality is an even greater contributor to his sense of self. He is a mixed bag that can often be hard to read, but most of his traits stay consistent. Strong of will, kind-hearted, witty, and proud are some of his most positive traits. Though he is often admired for these traits, some have a hard time looking past his more negative traits such as his insecurities, self-righteousness, stubbornness, and his impulsive way of speaking.
The trait that Planetfire might be most praised for is his wittiness. He has always been a great talker, and he is very good with words, possessing a large vocabulary stemming from early language assimilation. His jokes make many people laugh, often likely to tell one when meeting new people, in awkward situations, or simply at random. Conversing with others on an intimate level is his specialty, notably able to pierce even the hardest outer shells given time. This often gives others an almost uncomfortable level of knowledge of him as well as he usually divulges information about himself when given information about others. Persuasive and to the point, speaking with Onsori often leads to deeper discussion than one usually plans.
However, the wittiness and his self-assured attitude also causes him to speak inappropriately at times as he tends to say what is on his mind. Even when his opinion is asked for, Onsori will give it. He dislikes incorrectness, which often causes him to correct even minor things when the situation matters to him. This trait tends to annoy the less tentative speakers and outright intimidates the more timid speakers. Occasionally, Onsori will even correct glaringly obvious grammatical errors.
Strength of will, being both naturally apart of his species and his own individual drive, is one of Onsori's foremost characteristics. His body is often driven to the point of breaking by the willpower that he routinely shows. His heightened resistance to pain and inhuman endurance usually eggs on this quality. When the situation comes down to a matter of effort, it is difficult to put down one such as Onsori, making him a fierce Jedi and warrior worthy of the Zabrak species. Combined with the great deal of physical training and combat he has been through, it would be unwise to provoke a physical altercation with him as it would be with all Zabrak.
Of course, strong willpower also leads to near incorrigible self-assuredness. This can make him quite prone to stubborn stances when effort is not enough to win. Even if he knows he is in the wrong or cannot win, he will still persist and might even succeed based solely on stamina. Rarely does he admit he was ever wrong unless it concerns his betters or those with power over him. Though few hold such sway over him, he will yield when strictly necessary. This "bravado" often leads him to make incorrect actions, but it is somewhat rare that he cannot fight through or go around errors.
Despite a slightly self-centered attitude, he is very caring and kind-hearted. Growing up as an orphan has led to Onsori having a very sympathetic attitude. To those with a plight or a problem, or perhaps looking for a friend, he will be there. Being the lone member of his species in a society of Wookiees for so long has given him the clarity to see how important his friends are to him. He has a very strong devotion to his friends because in his life they are perhaps the one thing he can choose above all else. This loyalty does make betrayal harder on him, and it leaves him vulnerable to the pain of loss. However, his willpower is greatly emboldened by having friends behind him who believe in him. If pressed to save his friends, standing in his way would be nearly impossible.
However, his caring attitude leads to a great deal of insecurity as he tends to care almost too much what others think. When insulted or berated by others, he will sometimes find fault in himself even if there is none. His upbringing brought little opportunity for friends or love, which weighed heavily on his identity. He had been around humans more often than Zabrak, and despite being considerably attractive by human standards, the few human women he found interest in had none in him. There were almost no Zabrak women, who would almost certainly find him more attractive, in his life. This led to Onsori believing himself ugly or inferior to human men, even if this was unfounded. His uneven growth cycle in his puberty also contributed to this belief as the heightened strength and toughness of a male Zabrak came later to him than to others. Until he was almost 17, he was weaker than most humans of the same age. After his growth had nearly finished and the Jedi took him in, he began to find more worth in himself, but his insecurities were near permanent.

Onsori Planetfire was born on Kashyyyk among the Wookiees. His mother was a Jedi living in exile on the planet in a small community of independent Wookiees. His father had long since abandoned his family before Onsori was even born. Thus, Onsori was raised by his mother with the help of the Wookiees. She educated and groomed her son, planning to teach him the ways of the Force. The Wookiees embraced the young Zabrak, and allowed him into their culture. Much of what Planetfire knows, he learned from his mother and the Wookiees. However, at the age of five, the young child was separated from his mother when the Sith Imperium discovered the small community. His mother and the community rallied to fight off the attacking Sith squadron, but were driven back and forced to retreat. Onsori's mother was killed by a Sith in the encounter.
Per his mother's wishes, Onsori was further raised by the Wookiees as a community child. They fed him, clothed him, taught him much, and helped him become the man he would soon be for the rest of his life. There were many adventures on Kashyyyk that he took part in. There were many dangers that the child had to overcome. Upon reaching puberty and growing his horns, the Wookiees, through Onsori's mother's will, gave the boy his own trial in which he gained his own Zabrak facial tattoos. Around the age of 15, however, he began wondering more about the outside universe, and he wanted to learn more of his jedi origin. Of course, his mother had planned for such an occasion, and the Wookiees presented Planetfire with the location of the New Jedi Order. Provided with his mother's old ship, Onsori set out across the galaxy seeking the Jedi.
Becoming an apprentice, the young boy trained night and day in the ways of his mother and all jedi. He became well acquainted with the lightsaber, grew in his knowledge of the Force, and eventually he had become a fine jedi in his own right. Though rebellious at times and prone to adventure, Onsori remained true to the jedi ways. He travels the galaxy every day in his quest to further his training with the Force and find what he desires the most in the universe, even if he does not quite know what that may be.

FORCE POWERS:
Concerned with the more physical side of the Force, many of Planetfire's more used abilities are active Force powers that are used either aggressively or to enhance himself. He prefers the more practical applications of the Force like telekinesis and speed over the abilities of sense, but he is not unskilled with it. Though a Padawan, the Force is strong with him, and underestimating his connection to it would be a mistake.
SKILLS:
Planetfire has a wide circle of knowledge that encompasses a great deal of skills. Some of his skills are more notable than others, but the specific skills he knows can be very useful to a Jedi. Most of his more prominent skills were acquired over the years he has been alive. Some of his skills were simply discovered talents that he had a knack for personally. While most of his skills often lack use in more practical applications of the galaxy, they often come in handy in the specific situations he finds himself in.
The time spent among the Jedi were quite impressionable on him as his reading comprehension, mathematical skills, and historical knowledge are all exceptional. He spends a great deal of time on the Holonet when aboard his ship, reading through a great deal of information for sometimes hours at a time. He carefully wades through the information to learn events and useful knowledge. His continuous exposure to knowledge is what enhances his most basic galactic skills.
Likewise, his time with technology, such as his ship's computer systems has granted him a greater deal of skill with managing them. He is better with software than he is with hardware, more often being able to fix the former than the latter. However, there is not many software problems he can fix, except the more permanent ones.
Growing up, Planetfire, raised among Wookiees, learned how to fight and is a very fierce combatant. He learned how to fight barehanded, with bladed weapons, and with staves by watching and sparring with the Wookiee community. He has great talent with barehanded fighting, notably a great boxer. Despite being smaller than most Wookiees, he was capable of beating them in a fight due to his innovation and his unique second heart that granted him additional strength and endurance to combat the superior might of the Wookiees. Bladed weapons, being his absolute favorite in terms of combat, is his most practiced weapon, favoring single, straight doubled-sided blades. His background in fighting is key to his adept use of lightsabers. His skills with staves are secondary to his skills with blades, but Planetfire is pretty adept at their use.
As expected of someone who spent a great deal of time with the Wookiees, Planetfire can understand their language without a translator. He is very skilled with languages as well and uses many different terms from different languages besides Galactic Basic.
Also among his repertoire is his skills at piloting his ship. Though his ship is somewhat aged, it has been fixed and tinkered with for quite some time. Onsori is a rather adept pilot, especially in his mother's ship, which he has a feel for as if it were a part of his body.

Form V: The quintessential form of dominance has always been the favored style of Onsori Planetfire for as long as he has been a Jedi. He is very physically aggressive, strong willed, enduring, and very physically fit, which greatly leaned him towards the style. He is rapidly accumulating skill with the form, bringing his own flavor to it as well with his original training with bladed weapons among the Wookiees. His skill with combat lending well to his lightsaber and Force training makes him a notably dangerous opponent in a fight, even to Jedi Knights and Sith.
GEAR:
Onsori carries a training lightsaber. He has yet to make his own lightsaber and thus carries one of the non-lethal ones used by learners. It is green in color.
His clothing is very practical in appearance, and have a certain earthy and natural feeling to them as they were made by the Wookiees he was raised by. They look much like Jedi robes, carrying dark brown coloring and suited to many different climates. Though not exactly ones for wearing clothing as a species, most people of the galaxy can note the clothing Onsori wears was made by the native artisans of Kashyyyk. It consists of very sturdy black boots, brown pants, a tan long-sleeved top, and a brown cloak with a hood. There are some armored portions meant to be worn over the top but under the cloak that is meant to protect him from damage. The armorweave chest piece and two armlets can absorb a good deal of damage from blaster fire.
SHIP:
A ship passed down from his late mother to Onsori, this ship is well worn and very reliable. It can carry up to three people and many tons worth of cargo, being a medium-sized ship slightly on the smaller side. It is dull in appearance, not very showy or colorful, but that never bothered its pilot. It is very maneuverable and solid for such a non-noteworthy ship. The starship is also equipped with two main laser cannons, radar, hyperdrive capabilities, and moderate cloaking capabilities. Overall, it is a dependable ship that gets a Zabrak from point A to B.
