"MandalHypernautics a new division of MandalMotors is currently being drafted, this means there is a need for specialized craft to construct a shipyard capable of producing warships. The ISA has identified one of these ships that is soon to be decommissioned by the Corellians, go and ‘collect’ it for this project or it will never leave the planning table. Stealing this ship will require a team to infiltrate the shipyard and take the vessel. How you do this is up to you, but there can be no trace to the Sith."

The FV-50 Prototype wasn't really meant for the construction of capital ships, yet due to a design flaw thanks to overeager advisers it became capable of lifting way more tonnes than needed for taking fishing nets out of the sea and lacked the necessary scanners to track the wanted fish kind through the water. It turned out that was ideal for doing a lot of necessary heavy lifting concerned with ship building and for the next forty years Corellian shipywards used a modified FV-50 to lift cabins and pipelines to the decks where they were to be placed and even turned out to work wonders when bringing the finishing touches to the hull. As its initial design was that of a fishing vessel it had very precise controls to allow a fisherman to keep it steady to 90 centimeters above the sea in the most dangerous of weather conditions. Unfortunately, due to its focus on stability and labor, it proved impossible to also add a function fish-scanner and tracker to the model. Well, unfortunately... the FV-50 would be a great addition to the new MandalHypernautics.

Corporal Olonn felt uncomfortable in his flight suit as he walked up to the hangar with the soon-to-be-decommissioned FV-50's. Unbeknownst to him the three guards that stood at the entrance weren't the only ones to guard the hangar as there were a total of nine RJF guards providing security. Even those first three could make the corporal's mission today a disaster, since using the conceiled Thunderslug Pulse-pistol would be a dead give-away that signals reinforcements from any nearby Judicial Forces base. "Hope these I.D. cards get us through the door, at least-" he said to his partner-in-crime for this mission, his SF-platoon mate Gunner Stahl (@Faded Truth) "-opening the hangar doors and getting the ship out in one piece will be hard enough without having to deal with unhinged judicial swat." He might be a Shock Trooper and worth his salt in a fight, but boy did he want to just get this part of the mission over with. Once he was in the cockpit and lifting the bird up he knew the danger would be over. There's no way he'd fail to outrun local law enforcement ships. That used to be his pastime at the Naval Academy, after all.

The three guards didn't seem to think two pilots showing up was strange and without much of a careful inspection the one on door-duty extended his hand to accept their I.D. cards. "We figured they'd send some pilots down to keep the engines running every few days," he said, apparently knowing something about craft maintenance. "Yep," Fester simply replied as he handed him his green I.D. card, causing the eyebrows of the other two guards going up. Strange, he thought. Was he supposed to say something else? The duty card barely even looked at the card before taking a step back, "Is this some sick joke?" he asked, turning the card around to show it to Fester. "I'm Wes Lopshit!"

Kriff, Intelligence Support Activity (ISA) kessed it up. Immediately the two other guards had their hands go for their blasters. "Explain yourselves!" the duty guard shouted, but the only thing Fester noticed was that he'd probably be faster on the draw and that none of them had so far gone for their radio's.

Guess the lieutenant had a better overview as he had, though. Better he decided their next move.

Kriff indeed. ISA really kessed this up, placing them both in a peculiar situation. Gunner was beside Fester at this moment, both of them arriving in these less than stylish flight suits. Carrying excessive weapons on them would have been a dead give-away, he too was only armed with a Thunderslug pulse-pistol. However, he did manage to conceal two throwing knives near his waist band and in times such as these, they should serve handy.

As he saw their attempts at espionage had failed, it was time to revert to more deadly measures. They had not yet gone for their radios, but hands were slowly moving towards the blaster pistols. At this time, Gunner took out one throwing knife and hurled it quickly towards one security guard's neck. Knife sailed quickly towards its target, but scraped the shoulder and clanged to the ground.. kriff.

Little time to pay attention to his failures, he shot towards Wes Lopshit in attempts of tackling the man. Wes Lopshit was stronger than he appeared...kriff. Gunner found himself caught by the guard and thrown towards the man he had attempted to attack with the knife. Both bodies collided as they went to the floor. At this time, this had ensued into quite the chaotic scene. Grabbing his thunderslug pulse pistol, he attempted to shoot at Wes Lopshit, missing all three bolts. Kriff.

Still remaining on the ground, peripheral vision caught notice of the last remaining guard pulling out his blaster to get a clean shot on Fester. Luckily, this time Gunner's precision was on point as he blasted him twice in the back, putting that carcass on the ground.

Hopefully, Fester would be able to join on this charade with better luck than him.

Alright, so the lieutenant didn't have a plan at all. He just.. went at it. As the lieutenant literally got thrown away by Wes Lopshit, the Corporal drew his own blaster and fired roughly at the same time at Wes. Unfortunately they both missed and as Gunner then diverted aim and shot one of the other guards in the back, Fester tried to shoot the one that was on the floor with the subaltern officer only to miss again. Dark burn marks appeared on the tarmac next to the guard, whose eyes widened realizing how close he had been to death that second. Immediately the guard went for his radio, prompting the corporal to take aim again, yet before Fester could shoot him, Wes Lopshit had drawn his own blaster and a light blue blaster bolt flew passed Fester's eyes. Too close

Fester turned to Wes Lopshit and was about to aim at his head when he heard: "This is Foxtrot-Victor Fiver-Zero hangar guard. We are under attack. One dead-" the guard that lay on the tarmac near the lieutenant spoke quickly, "-request immediate reinforcements." Both Fester and Wes turned to the guard who was in contact with patrol command, both seizing fire for the moment, "-what!? four minutes?" The desperation in his voice was obvious.. surviving for four minutes while under fire was one hell of a long time when you're the one on your backside.

Fester immediately turned to Wes again, pulling the trigger of his thunderslug pistol and foolishly compensating for the drawback prematurely, causing him to miss and his the hangar's wall. Wes Lopshit immediately responded as he snapped back from the bad news about the reinforcements and fired his RJF standard pistol at his attacked, but missing as well.

This was becoming one hell of a tragic -perhaps comical- shootout. One that, assuming he survives, Fester really did not want to experience ever again. He was going back to the shooting range.

This was growing into quite the comical spectacle, and not one too be too proud of given the fact that all the soldiers were missing their shot. If anyone had seen him struggle in this scene, he wondered what they would think. The only shadowguard in the galaxy and he couldn't even dispose of a bastard named Lopshit.

Single knife twirled in his hand as he turned suddenly and stabbed the guard laying next to him. Shoving him away to die on the ground painfully, Gunner finally ended Wes Lopshit with a duo of well placed shots at the abdomen. The excitement seemed as if it came to a sudden halt, though both men knew that the hard part was just about to begin.

"Damn ISA and their stupidity.." He cursed. Standing to his full height, he moved back towards the landing zone, crawling underneath a starfighter as he pulled out a large duffel bag. "Good thing I decided to make my own preparations.." He unzipped and pulled out some additional armaments. A smoke grenade and a light repeater. Wicked smile on his face, he kicked the bag over to Fester, motioning for him to grab the Disruptor pulse wave rifle that was inside. "Let's go.."

Ruffling through Wes' corpse, he pulled out a data card and leaned against the wall. Sliding it through the card reader, doors slowly opening. At this time, the guards on the other side had been alerted to the commotion in the hangar. Advancing towards them, he rolled the smoke grenade to intercept their path. A sinister look encompassing his features as he raised the repeater and aimed into the center of the grey mist that billowed from the grenade. "Light them up.." He commanded to the corporal, armored finger pressing down on the trigger as doom seeped outwards.

Fester was thankful that the lieutenant turned out to be more capable than him. Visibly relieved, he took Wes' blaster pistol and put it away underneath his belt, just like the thunderslug when he realized the lieutenant was going to the heavy hitters. "I think I can get the engines running in five minutes if we hurry," he calculated quickly, taking into account the type of vessel. This was where his years as a Serenno naval cadet came in handy. "-which means we'll need to deal with the first wave of reinforcements from the ground." He hoped that Gunner would understand that that would mean he would need to deal with them, because Fester would be in the engine room flipping switches and uploading starmaps.

With the Disrupter Pulse Wave rifle firmly against his shoulder, Fester followed the lieutenant into the hangar and when he gave the order to fire, Fester pulled the trigger six times, spraying the general area where the guards had been before the smoke began dispersing.

Immediately the six remaining guards all opened fire as well, but as they were equally blinded by the smoke their shots hit the walls and crates surrounding the two Imperial operatives. Fester took cover behind one of those crates and slowly counted the shots, two-three-six, then when their intervals began increasing he dashed forward with the rifle raised. The first guard met with a bolt in his throat and died before he hit the ground, while the second had just begun to turn into Fester's direction before he felt the impact of several shots hitting his chest. He'd be dead seconds after he hit the ground.

Now remaining guards were aiming in his direction and forced Fester back into cover where they pinned him down. There would be no way he could move while they lived and had ammo to burn. That meant it was all back to the lieutenant now.

Gunner snarled at the Corporal, "Just start the kriffing engines!" One hand lifted the light repeater upwards as he loaded the ammunition drum, chambering the power pack into the shaft as it prepared the automatic fire option. He did not have the luxury of using a bipedal delivery system, so he would have to rely on double handing the weapon with sacrificed accuracy. Fingers pressed down on the trigger as a volley of shots began to fire into the smoke. Stench of burnt flesh and armor asunder could be visualized as the shriek of guards hit by the blaster bolts sank to the ground.

Taking cover behind another ship vessel, he peered from the side, exchanging heavy fire against the guards locked in on Fester's position. The return fire would hopefully free up the corporal, allowing him to execute the remainder of his mission.

Upon hearing the lieutenant's words Fester dashed out of cover and towards their intended target. The guards were sufficiently distracted by blasterfire to notice how the young corporal slipped into the FV-freigther and made his way to the engine room. "Ahh-" Fester muttered as he walked up to the main engine, "Junk, as expected." This ship's technology was outdated and nothing compared to the intelligent machines he was used to in the Serenno Navy, but he wasn't a complete fool when it came to older models and he noticed the ship even had a class 12 hyperdrive. Pressing multiple buttons in a memorized sequence, the corporal watched how the status screen lit up and the engine meters slowly rose to the green levels. Satisfied, he comm'd the lieutenant "Three minutes till I can drive it out of the hangar."

Once he reached the cockpit he observed with a content smirk that the flight controls weren't as outdated as the engine. "Yes," he said and sat down in the pilot's seat, "-I can work with this."

If only the lieutenant would open the hangar door.

A sigh of relief came to his face as he saw Fester climb into the airship. He knew that if at least one of them survived through this and made their way out with the vessel, the mission would be complete. If there was a chance at making a sacrifice, it would be now. He shifted his attention quickly upon the hangar door, and shoved guard to the ground as he bulldozed towards the target. Sliding underneath cover, he fired his blaster several times until the ammunition ran dry. Arm lifting up as he yanked the lever down, watching with pride as the door slowly began to rise. More soldiers were coming, he had one grenade left, and he hurled it towards the rear entrance. Smoke billowed through the room as he borrowed a weapon off a fallen enemy and leaped into the array. "For the Empire!" He roared towards Fester as he continued to rain blaster fire upon their opposition and when that ran out, he attacked them with his fists.

It was ample time and enough distraction for Fester to fly away with vessel in hand. As the corporal would leave, Gunner would be overwhelmed with the enemy, captured or killed, only the future knew the truth. Regardless, their mission would be a success.
