Some time in the early evening
"Well, there are worse places to be."
The Hunter sighs, on the terrace of some nice suite near the Royal Quarter of Iziz. His hands curling on the balcony's railing as his gaze swept to and fro before he turns back, remembering he had been expecting a guest. Despite having been acquainted with his living quarters for the duration of his investigation and recovery of his bounty, it still struck him at the slightest of glances. Amenities out the wahzoo, an on call maid, amazing meals, the works. Throughout his admiration he was occasionally lost looking at a piece of interesting art or a nice vase. Eventually he hears a call from the door before it slides open, with a duo of guards entering before their charge follows suit.
"Mister Jakkan, I hope you are finding your accommodations satisfactory?"
The words strung out like a careful performer atop a tight rope, balanced and practiced over the fear of failure. The inquisitive tone hit Deeno's ears and he responds with an up-thumb of affirmation,
"Grand, just grand, Lady Atiress. The protocol droid told me much, but mentioned you'd have some more info about th'target."
Deeno did his best to keep his drawl back, yet there were instances where it was too strong. This either didn't bother the royal or she kept it hidden for the sake of business. After sitting down and bading him sit across from her, she would gesture to him politely once more,
"Please, if you would present the puck to serve as visual aid for my explanation?"
The young Hunter does just that, reaching inside his jacket's interior pocket to produce said bounty puck. He lays the device on the table and turns it on. Above the puck would hover the holographic representation of the focus on this eve's meeting. A male, seemingly middle-aged, Togruta with the name 'Seswadin Nadrasharm' above the two thousand credit payout assuming the target is alive. Lady Atiress puts her hands in her lap and continues,
"As you have been briefed, albeit sparingly, this man is responsible for the destruction of my father's property and the hospitalization of three of our attendees. The property damage alone is significant, with two priceless arti- Heirlooms being lost or stolen in the process."
That small slip up was briefly noted by the Hunter with a raise of his brow, but it quickly went away,
"On site investigation by our own would suggest the latter. The three attendees in question, are very important to our family and their injuries are severe. If they survive treatment, through healing, they will be impeded the rest of their lives. Seswadin Nadrasharm is undoubtedly responsible, through surveillance and investigations we have confirmed this. The damage to our home can be repaired, but the whereabouts of those heirlooms and to see this man stand on trial for the near manslaughter of our attendees is paramount."
The noble pauses and gauges Deeno's reaction, he had none. He was intently listening like any good soul would, so in his eyes rested a natural worry over the injured. After a few seconds the talks went forth,
"The recovery of the target alive is our preference, alive or dead, if you learn anything about the missing heirlooms there will be handsome bonuses for each piece that is of significance. If the information you provide leads us directly to them, even moreso. My father and I completely understand if you are unable to accept such a responsibility, so think of it as a portion of our business that is 'under the table' as it were, Mister Jakkan."
Still, despite the talk of a hefty bonus, the Hunter wasn't overly moved. Alas, his hand did raise to his mouth with his index finger's knuckles swiping along his lips as he assumes a posture of deep thought. The noble patiently waits for a response until,
"I can't make any promises, Lady Atiress, but trust I understand how ya feel. If I lost my old man's blaster... It may not be worth as much as what you lost in credits-"
The noble smiles and cuts him off, yet with the intent to correct,
"Please, in that case, then we have similar values. The importance we place in such things cannot be numbered monetarily or explained verbally, I believe in your understanding. It fills me with a semblance of hope that you will find something to aid in recovering what was lost."
Deeno nods politely and crosses a leg over his knee, hands grasping his calf as he leans forth,
"For a pretty lady like yourself, Miss Atiress, I may even consider waving the fees,"
A wink later and the noble lets off a measured, almost tailored giggle. Deeno was none the wiser. A few moments of silence later and the noble leaves her seat, bowing,
"A fortuitous meeting I am sure, Mister Jakkan. Please do be careful and I await your success. If you need anything at all, I implore you to contact our protocol droid or if it is important, me directly."
Deeno gives the Lady a left-handed, two-fingers-missing salute for her troubles,
"Till we meet again, Lady Atiress."
With that she and her guards were free of his hickish presence; out the door they went. Deeno leans back on the nice, cushioned couch with a satisfied sigh,
"Not the worst place to be at all..."
He pushes himself to his feet and heads back to the terrace, leaning on the balcony railing once more,
"Wonder if I'm in over my head? Naaah... Should be fine... Maybe I should see if there are any others around?"
He went on with this droning for a bit.
