Quin saw his future reflected in the small pond he now looked into. Had he grown so much in the years, or were these days bearing down upon him like a ton of durasteel? He had to wonder as he splashed the fresh cool water onto his face and neck. He fled the city-planet of Coruscant as ordered. Such has swelled his thoughts since, an unescaping trial of self. Run from so many, to leave those he called brother, and friend behind; was a hard task, but he always did as he was told. His life's goal was to serve the force as its loyal servant.
Upon this wealthy abundance of ferns he rested contemplating the future he might face. Why had the Jedi abandoned this ancient home world of their order? Once as vast and beautiful, as Coruscant once was. The young Jedi held not the answers, for he knew his duty was to serve, both the Jedi and the force. In times such as these he always looked to the force to guide his hand; thats how he ended up on this long forgotten land of mystery. The last Jedi master to run this temple was Kain Lightbringer. Not much of him remains in the annals of the jedi, but whispers tell of a great and proud Jedi that gave his life for the order. Not unlike the times I now faced; mused the Jedi knight as the sun faded into a maze of azure storm clouds of approaching night...Then it dawned on the lone Jedi...Could it be that Kain still inhabited this place? Was his soul intertwined for eternity to this Citadel of hope?

"Going down, were going down," Marc screamed into his commlink, "G-3, J-6, you two need to buckle yourselves in, and fast." *beep boop boop boop beep* "Yes now! The laser cannon update can wait." The two T-3 units buckled themselves into their respective saftey harnesses. I can't believe that this is happening. *BOOM* I just fixed this bucket of bolts. (See: running from death) "We are in the atmosphere. G-3..." Marc remembered that G-3 was still in the safety harness, "nevermind." Marc picked up the comm, "Attention: anyone who can hear me. I would suggest that everyone in range of this communication to scatter. I am i a fairly large ship and..." Too Late!!! Metal crunching, the modified Theta-class (See: running from death) screached across the landscape. After a full minute of sliding, the much damaged ship came to rest upon the base of a very large hill. Marc immediately unharnessed himself, ran outside, and kicked his ship with all his streanth. The metal crumbled beneath him. This was not supposed to happen. I am done with adventures. "I am done, you hear? DONE!!!" Marc yelled, shaking his fist at the sky. Marc forced himslef to calm down. A level head will get him through this. "Well, look on the bright side," Marc consoled himself, "at least there are no Jedi or Sith to worry about." If only he knew what planet he was on...

A thundering boom awoke Quin from his sleep. He rubbed desperately at his eyes, as he struggled to break the shackles of sleep that held his mind in disarray. Was he still dreaming? He thought as he watched the vessel soar over-head in a wake of flame. How anyone managed to navigate the Cron cluster was beyond wondering. All thoughts left his mind save one; those people in that ship were in serious trouble! He raced through the trees as fast as his force assisted limbs would carry him.
Quin hopped over the last remaining obstacle in the form of a group of broken trees. The young Jedi Knight was stunned by the amount of destruction laid out before his eyes; a make-shift canoe had been sliced into the once fertile field of ferns. The ship seemed to be mostly intact, as far as Quin could tell. The early morning sun peaked over the hill, bathing the disaster area in its soft rose tinted light, painting a less ominous picture. Quin quickly began searching for signs of life, though doubt continued to pull at his heart, he had to try. When he made his way to the other side of the ship, he was amazed to find a man standing beside the wreckage. "Are you hurt? Do you need medical aid? Are there others on board?" Asked the young Jedi as a million question swam through his mind.

Marc quickly shrouded his ability to access the Force as he heard footsteps comming nearer. He could tell of the stranger's ability; not all force users were friendly and Marc certainly did not want to be caught off his guard. Then the questions came as Marc knew that they would. Anyone who saw a spaceship, in this system of all places, streaking down in a flurry of flame would want to know what is happening. "Are you hurt? Do you need medical aid? Are there others on board?" the other spouted. Marc sighed, this man was indeed a Jedi. A Sith would have already tried to be in total control of the situation, this man just wanted good to happen. "No, I'm okay. I'm the only one on the ship..." An indignent series of beeps and whistles sounded off from the interior of the crashed starship. "OKAY FINE!!!" Marc yelled back into the wreckage, "I'm the only BIOLOGICAL BEING on board. It is safe, come on out you two!" Turning to the puzzled Jedi, Marc gave an apologetic smile, "Please forgive me," he extended his hand in greeting, "my name is Marc Shadel. Is there a place we can eat and talk? I would invite you into my humble living space, but as you can see," he nodded his head in the ship's direction, "It has suddenly developed the dire need for renovations."

OOC: I figured if nothing was posted that meant it was open. I have complied with your demand.

The young Jedi still had a thousands questions, but those could wait. The here and now was where his mind was needed the most. "How bad is she?" Quin asked with a sour look as he glanced at the huge rips in the vessel's hull. “We should get back the temple. I know you think you're fine, but a few tests might help ease my conscious. There's an abandoned citadel just beyond that rise." Quin added with a smile. The circumstances were bad, but the timing was good. He felt a bit of guilt for the slight feeling of happiness he was experiencing, then something strange reached out to him...This man was force sensitive. The young knight could feel the force surrounding the stranger. He would find a way to work that into a future conversation. For now he needed to get this man and his droids back to the safe confines of the Jedi citadel, to be absolutely certain he had not suffered any internal injuries during the crash.

"Ya sure," Marc agreed, "A citadal would be good. Just wait a sec." Marc ducked back into the not so burning wreck. He returned with two large bags, full to the brim with equipment. "Ok, I am ready." If Marc had learned one thing while staying alive in space, it was never be caught off guard...ever. Always plan ahead. "G-3, you and J-6 stay here and complete a damage protocal, once you are finished, get the power generator working again so you two can plug in." *Beeo boop boop Beep boop* Marc stared fondly at the two droids. Strangley enough, the most emotion that he felt for anything in the galaxy was aimed at these two droids. They were his loyal companions...his family. "Shall we?" Marc asked as rolled his shoulder blades to make the harness he was wearing feel more comfortable. The harness held the one shred of physical evidence that he was once an apprentice of the Order, nearly a full fledged Knight, but his Master was butially murdered and, well, that did not sit well with Marc. Quin watched as the stranger address the droids in turn, not as an owner ordering around pieces of metal, but as a father speaking to his sons. An odd relationship, but who was Quin to cast judgment? "Lets get goin....". Quin's words were cut short as a wrestling of the leaves alerted the pair to someone lurking in the dense underbrush surrounding the crash site. "We're not alone." Whispered the young Jedi as he reached outward with his mind sensing what lay beyond the reach of his eyes. Quin glanced at his new acquaintance, a trouble looked was clearly etched across his features as he spoke "Surrounded, too many to fight off." Quin cleared his throat before calling out to the growing mass of humanoids gathering in the forest. "I am a Jedi Knight. We mean you no harm. Please show yourselves."

The next few moments seemed an eternity. Suddenly the forest around them burst to life. Hundreds of humanoid men stepped into the clearing. The largest and most lavishly dressed approached the downed ship. His pace and demeanor seemed relaxed and filled with poise. More than likely this was their leader, Quin quickly ascertained.

"Not the friendliest of places apparently," Marc stated sarcasticly. With the Force, Marc tried to access the minds of a few random individuals. Distrust. Uncertainty. Fear. The people were rank with it. And what did the Jedi mean about no chance of victory. Scanning the scene, he could see no heavy weapons among them, just hand blasters. "Yes, we mean no harm," Marc echoed. No point in starting a fight where it was not needed. As a gesture of goodwill, Marc lowered his bags of equipment and threw the heavy blaster down on his side. My lightsaber will do if it escalates worse than it should. Not that it will. If no one knew that he was Force sensitive, it was just fine with Marc. It would be one more advantage on his side. "What do all you guys want? I don't think that we broke any laws. We also don't want any trouble."

Quin realized who these creatures might be. Half-man and half beast. An odd mixture of human and feline characteristics created a stunning display of grace, and power. I hope this goes well; Quin thought to himself as he once again attempted to communicate with the tribal-leader. "I am Quin Ki-Djinn, a Jedi knight, and loyal servant of the Republic. The man standing behind me is the owner of this ship. We ar..." The Jedi was cut off by a growing crescendo of laughter. They understand basic? Wonderful, Quin mused with a smile. "Allow m..." Quin's words were cut short as the Chieftain's staff rose into the air, quickly blanketing the crowded clearing in dead calm. Only the wind dare whistle as the Tribe master spoke "We know you are Jedi. We have been watching you. We once served your Master Kain Lightbringer, the Steward of this most ancient of Jedi temples. Why does master Lightbringer send you in his stead?" Asked the Ysanna leader in an inquisitive tone.

Quin thought for a moment, not knowing how they would react to hearing that Kain Lightbringer has been dead many years now. The young Jedi laughed as he started to entertain the thought of lying to these people. That was no way for a Jedi to act, or think; Quin thought as he mental chastised himself for his moment of weakness. "Jedi Master Lightbringer has found eternal enlightenment within the force. He died many years ago in a battle to save the Republic." Quin said, with an empathic smile.

"Jedi Ma...?" Marc barely was able to speak, but his mind screamed what he was about to say anyways; through the Force on as it happened before he could stop himself. This set many of the feline like humans on edge, and the Jedi, on edge because it had the charactaristics of the Sith power called Force Scream, although Marc was unaware of this. Anyone even remotely Force sensitive withing half a mile would have heard it loud and clear. The Jedi Master Lightbringer!!! Was here? This must be the planet he flew to when... And he... And these people are...WOW!!! Marc caught himself gaping at his surroundings. If this was where Master Lightbringer made his haven, then there was a purpose for him to be here. With the dead Jedi Masters it was always so, it was all too much to be a coincidence. Reluctantly, Marc opened up his mind and allowed the Force to swirl around him yet again. His companion must already know of his sensitivity to the Force. Through the Force, he sent a message to the older man, "We need to talk, alone and soon."

Quin startled, his face riddled with shock...he wanted to scream for the man to stop mid-sentence but he couldn't. Luckily the stranger understood his folly and silenced himself. What his new friend did not know was that all these men were indeed force sensitive and many have been trained as Jedi. The fact was simple; these humanoids were the ancient descendants of the Jedi that once lived here before the great Sith wars. Exar Kun attempted to destroy this sector of the galaxy in order to kill the largest grouping of Jedi in that era. Although this planet was listed as abandoned, many had stayed and made a living in the harsh climate of Ossus; a planet once incinerated. How they survived no one truly knows, or asked. All that was recorded in the Jedi archives was that these beings not only survived, but thrived here on this desolate planet. An oath long forgotten by the Jedi order still lives within the souls and minds of the Ysanna; still after hundreds of years they serve the Jedi with undying loyalty.

With a light foot we must tread, Quin whispered to himself as he shot a warning glance to stranded pilot, as he sent him a message he was certain wasn't heard by him alone. Indeed we shall, but control yourself until we are back to the safety of the Cita...Quin's words were interrupted by the Ysanna Chieftain "No need to speak in private, we can hear the words you attempt to hide from us. Your great Jedi Lightbringer taught us the ways of the Jedi long ago. We still follow his teachings to this day. The Ysanna honor him by staying true to his words of wisdom." Said the Tribal leader with a tone laced with hints of warning. These men were not fools, and to treat them as such would certainly prove fatal, if not idiotic.

*Neji walked through forest, trying to remember where his ship was,he didn't want to use the flare guns attached to his ship, which could be activated remotely. Reason being that he didn't want to set the forest ablaze. Neji had heard a loud noise that sounded like a sith power. He ran a fast as he possibly could to the source, and was shocked to see a crashed ship, two normal looking people, and a very large amount of beastly looking lifeforms. He walked towards the two normal looking people.*

"Hello, my name is Neji Hyuga, might I ask yours?"

Marc turned his head to face the next intruder. If it's not one thing, it is another. "What do you think you are doing?!?!" Marc did not quite yell at the newcommer, but he did raise his voice. "You are asking our names?!? Introductions are hardly the time, given the situation!" Turning to the chieftan Marc lowered his voice to a more reverent and civil tone, "I apologize, we had no idea that you and your people would be at all offended if we tried to attempt a private conversation. I have to admit that this a all bit...unnerving. I have had massive engine failures which led the crippling of my ship. I find another Force sensitive man here, and now a whole race of beings that I have never heard of before." Marc shook his head. This was an unusual day. However, all this excitement might work to his advantage. Marc wanted training and answers, here might finally be his chance to get both.

" Take it easy. I don't mean any harm. All I want to know is your names and what those things," Neji nodded in the direction of the beast like humanoids, "are."

Quin was deep into a conversation with Ysanna tribal leader when a young woman marched into the clearing and began asking questions. Both wore looks of absolute bewilderment on their faces. Ossus, abandoned? Not hardly; the Jedi thought himself as he nodded hello, and asked the newly arrived child to please stay quiet for a moment. "Please excuse the intrusion. As I was saying we could work together to rebuild the Jedi temple here on Ossus. Perhaps one day Jedi will once again train within its hollowed walls." Quin imparted in a soft, but confident tone. The Chieftain nodded in agreement, before Quin continued "We need to get this man medical attention. He may have suffered internal injuries, and we need to get him to the temple." Again the Chief nodded as he replied "We will aid you as we always have. We will rebuild the temple with you, and I am certain once finished the Jedi will once again call Ossus their home." With that the Chief barked a few words in his native tongue, clearing a path through the horde of lionous humanoids.

OOC:If you're refeering to Neji as the young woman he's not. He is Hinata's Brother.

Ic:
"Well that sounds like a grand idea. I can't find my ship without setting the forest ablaze, and I've got nothing better to do. So why not? I don't mind helping."

*Neji smirked after having said these words. He brought his right hand down to rest on his family's heirloom, the Guardian's Lightsaber.*

"I told you, I do not need any help. I'm not injured." But Marc let himself be led away; he had already managed to make a mess of things and he did not want to make a bigger one of himself. Besides, a great man had once told him, 'You cannot argue with all of the fools in this world. It is better to let them get their way and trick them when they are not looking.' Marc did not intend on tricking anyone, but the concept still applied. As he let himself be led away, followed closely by the Jedi and the apparent padawan, he tried to strike up a friendly conversation. "So, how long have you been with the Order. Are you a Jedi/Jedi Master yet? How did you come to be here? How is it that 3 Force sensitive beings come, simultaneously, to a world that had nearly been forgotten for who knows how long. Just a bit of a coincidence, don't you think?" Marc also tried to talk to the feline/human creatures, but they eyed him with a look of unmistakable distrust. Oh well, it must be because I am an outsider. Marc still had not made the connection that the aura that surrounds all Force sensitive beings was obviously tainted. Corrupted, as the Jedi might say, not enough to be Sith, but enough to separate himself from the other two Jedi. This made the sedinant beings more than just nervous; they mutually descided that if anything went wrong, it had to be this one's fault. The other two Force sensitives felt his taint too and had their own opinions about it, and Marc Shadel in general.

Their journey was a long one, and after a mile or so the group began conversating over the rough trek of seemingly endless forest. The freshly stranded pilot protested his need to see a med-droid, but that wasnt the real reason Quin cut the meeting short. Something mysterious lay hidden within the man he knows only as Marc. Quin thought carefully before answering each question in turn. "I am a Jedi Knight, my master was killed by the Sith when they raided the temple on Coruscant a tenday ago"...Marc's next question was a bit more intricate. Quin already found the answer through the force, but was this man ready to hear his sermon? I guess we shall see soon enough; the Jedi thought as he began working out the best way to explain his thoughts to the two. "I strongly believe the force has guided us all here. Our destinies are intertwined and nothing can stop what is to come. I came to Ossus because of a reoccurring dream I am having. I seek answers to a series of odd memories of a life I never led." Quin paused for a second as he glanced back at the pair, making certain they were indeed listening before continuing "Do you trust in the Force, Marc?" Quin added with a caring tone.

"With my soul, life, and mind," Marc answered. It was a simple answer, to an even simpler question. The Force was his ally, his mentor, his friend. "The Force has been there for me when no one else has. It has saved my life uncountable times...and it has given me powers I could only dream of having without it." All these he answered truthfully, with no intentions what-so-ever of lying. Not to a guy like this. Not unless he...but he would not, this guy could not be like that. "What you said about us all being here makes sence. I have heard of such coincidences before, but I never thought that I would ever live one out...I hope that I live this one out." Marc was worried.

"It's not like I am scared or anything, I am just nervous I guess. It has been a long time since I have had anything to do with the Jedi. When my Master was kil...when he became one with the Force, I did a few really dumb things to avenge him. More than just a few dumb things. And, well, it would be too easy to give up what I have done and pretend like it all never happened like the Jedi would have me do. What I did is part of who I am now. When I tracked down those..." Marc stopped himself. What was he doing?!?!?!?! He was laying out his life story to a strange Jedi who would, more likely than not, try to turn him back into some sort of servant for the Order. Yet Marc wante to continue. "...Are you certain that you want to hear this. This is really personal stuff. I don't think that a Jedi could take it. Not without looking at me differently everytime you saw me." Marc wanted to add in, 'and felt my presence' but he did not want to sound like the Jedi or Sith and that sounded like something that one of the two would say.

But he so wanted to learn more. He wanted to get down on his hands and knees and beg the Jedi to take him in as his Padawan Learner, to just give him the chance. But Marc would not do that, he could not do that. His pride was just too thick for that and the other man also obviously held reservations on the amount of trust he could give him. With a sigh Marc trudged onward, using the Force to sense all of the native animals and wildlife, looking for anything to bring him security at this period of severly doubting himself. Marc was very, VERY insecure right now, although he would never admit it. Suddenly, Marc felt a ping of the Force reflected back at him, like a light shown into a mirror. Marc opened him mind to try to find whatever have reflected his searchings through the Force.
