Bespin/Cloud City

After picking up Arial and working out some plans they were off to Bespin. He had to take care of some business and Arial needed some new gear. He steered the Hurricane into the gas giant's atmosphere and quickly tracked down Cloud City. The traffic control chimed in and asked for identification, but thankfully his IFF spoofer had a few documents loaded up so currently he was a humble freighter pilot meant to transport a shipment of Tibanna gas to some planet or another. Of course that won't be happening.

The Hurricane touched down on a landing pad and Hask slid his helmet on. "Alright, I'm just going to get that shipment aboard while you can go look through some of the shops. I hear Cloud City has quite a nice selection of all kinds of shops so getting some gear and clothing shouldn't be an issue. After that we can get rid of this shipment and use the credits. This ship is starting to become a handful these days." he explained to Arial as he holstered his pistols and lightsabers.

He made his way to the ramp and his crew took care of securing the ship. He was met with the harbourmaster and left Arial to tend to her business while he sorted out the shipment.

Arial frowned as she looked at herself in the mirror. As much as she appreciated Hask's help, she wished he had something a little more...more fitting for her to wear. Still, she would meet up with Hask as the man was gearing up to head out, keeping her hands on her hips and a doubtful expression on her face. "I hope so, and I'm not going to be pleased if I need to strut around the galaxy in a miners outfit." She had never been to Bespin personally, most of what she knew about the planet was that it was just a world that's only purpose was to be harvested. "Well, hope you don't get ripped off, and I'll make sure I don't go crazy buying shoes." She grinned, holding up Hask's credit chip. As Hask would walk down the ramp, Arial wouldn't be too far behind him, as she'd head to the more commerce oriented section of the city.

"I hope so too." he said with a chuckle before breaking off. He really hoped she didn't go overboard but thankfully he wasn't totally broke so she should be alright...but he'd still appreciate not getting cleared out by her.

He checked his connection with her commlink in case they couldn't find each other. The dock worker drew his attention and he turned to face the man. He didn't look very bright, and their system left a lot to be desired...this was going to be a walk in the park. The worker tried to refuse but with a wave of Hask's hand he was much more compliant. In a few minutes the worker droids and ugnaughts were loading a couple dozen crates filled with Tibanna canisters. They made sure the stuff was all strapped down and secured as tightly as possible. The last thing Hask needed now was his ship getting torn in half because the canisters weren't secured.

With that job over and done with he locked the ship down and set out to track down Arial.

He took the scenic route, deciding to enjoy the walk and check if there wasn't anything that caught his eye. Indeed there was. As he walked past a locked down impound he spotted a brand new freighter sitting there in the open. Hask came to full stop and looked the ship over. The size was good. It didn't have a scratch on it. He could easily soup it up...it's perfect.

He quickly moved on and used the commlink to track Arial down. He caught up with her, leaning to her ear. "I got something really nice for us." he said softly to her. "Come on, I need to show you. Finish up here." he hurried her along, clearly impatient.

Arial was off to the shopping centers, and frankly she wasn't impressed. Yes, they had weapons and attire, but it was rather lack luster to what she had access to back home. It seemed like casual drifter clothing. very spacious and comfortable, but looked a bit ratty. However, she did manage to find an outfit that appealed to her. Grabbing that, she next bought a pair of durasteel toed utility boots, and a holster; though she wasn't a fan of the pistol she bought, it was going to have to do. Despite her tormenting of Hask, she wasn't a heavy spender, in fact she was rather conservative with her funds. She stocked up on a A-10 blaster, and some spare energy cells, as well as several holopads for her personal use. All said in done, it wouldn't tank Hask's finances, in fact he might have been surprised at how little she actually spent.

When Hask found her, she had just finished getting ahold of her weapons and ammo, though her hands were full of clothing bags. Her newly bought pistol was on display in her holster, and a vibroknife was tucked inside the vest of her flight jacket. As Hask rounded the corner and caught up to her, she sighed. "What did you do now?" She blinked as he told her to follow, and agreed to come along. "Hask I swear if this leads to a gun fight...." She muttered, hoping her new clothes wouldn't get destroyed in whatever Hask was pull her into.

Hask led her along back towards where he saw the ship. "If we do it right it won't lead to a gunfight, don't worry." he said to her as he led the way. "Also I'm quite impressed. I expected you to go a lot more overboard with your stuff." he commented with a shrug. He wasn't complaining. It saved him money so what reason did he have to complain?

Soon enough they got to the enclosed impound and Hask pointed the ship out through the fence. "There. That freighter. It'll work perfectly for a replacement for the Hurricane." he explained to Arial. "All we have to do is wait an hour or two for nightfall, sneak in, then fly out with the ship. Then we just radio the Hurricane to follow us out." he explained happily, clearly already working on an entire plan for the ship and how to get past security.

He lingered for a bit longer, looking the place over and mapping out all the camera angles. It clearly wasn't built as a high security area. He doubted crime was pretty serious here. It worked quite well for him. With everything figured out he led Arial back to the Hurricane to store her items. "It'll be nightfall in an hour or two. Then we can move in again." he explained to her as he walked to the kitchen for a drink.

Arial had no choice but to tag along with her red skinned companion, as he commented on her lack of expenses. "You lucked out, caught me right before I got to the chocolate shop." She jabbed back with a dash of dry humor. "My parents taught me to get only the essentials. What did you think I was going to do?" Maybe if she was one of the prissy nobility she might have bought fifty different kinds of shoes and forty different dresses, but she had no need for that; especially since there was a lack of clothing she found appealing on this world.

Hask would lead her right to the impound lot, which made Arial roll her eyes. "You want that?" She said with a touch of disbelief, it was a rather unremarkable ship, but Hask was looking to replace the Hurricane for it? Well, he was the captain, she didn't really have a place to argue about it. "Very well, shouldn't be too hard to pull off." Her eyes met his, as she spoke with upmost clarity. "Are we killing anyone when we come back, or no?" She wanted to know, mostly to prepare her mindset, though knowing Hask he probably just wanted to steal it and minimize casualties. It was a rather unremarkable site at that, something she could probably get in and out of in her sleep. Still, with the basis of a plan laid out, Arial would take her loot back with Hask. Stowing her newly bought items away, she'd join Hask in the kitchen. "So, what all do you plan to do once you have this ship? You need to swap off it's transponder and still get into hyperspace. They got security footage of us, so expect bounty hunters to be on us if we don't disguise ourselves well enough." Arial listed off the issues she saw with the plan, of course she had ways around it if Hask asked about them. "Also, will it just be the two of us? And where are we to meet up with the Hurricane at assuming this all goes to plan?" Perhaps she hadn't lost as much of her agent training as she thought, though Hask was probably going to get annoyed at her questioning.

She asked if they were planning on killing anyone. "I'd like to avoid it but load up just in case things go south." he said to her, relaxing against a counter. She went on to explain all the things they needed to do, but Hask shrugged it off. "Transponder will be easy. Tricky part is if that ship is locked down with a security system. Let's hope it doesn't. But don't worry about the security footage. Just keep your face covered and your head down then we'll be fine. I'll also short the cameras and other things out as we move." he explained to her.

She didn't stop with her questions, but he didn't get annoyed with her. It was valid questions. "Location's always the same. Tatooine. Mos Eisley to be exact. Once we have the ship the Hurricane will jump as well and we'll meet up at the spaceport. It's a quick jump at least, so all we have to do is get out of the atmosphere." he said calmly as he got himself a bottle of water for the two of them.

After a couple hours night rolled in. Hask handed her an extra helmet to cover her face. He led the way back to the impound and managed to find a small pathway around the back of it. There was only one camera but with a quick flick of his wrist it looked off into a completely different direction. "Alright, let's go." he whispered and helped her over the fence. He quickly led the way and either twisted cameras into different directions or crushed them. At the ship he ran for the cockpit and instructed Arial to keep a lookout. Of course the ship was locked down, but it wasn't impossible to break into.

But as he worked, the alarm started to go off and a small group of troops started to make their way to the ship. Hask was taken back by the sudden alarm. He only realized afterward the system was rigged to sound off. This just made things harder...

Arial listened as Hask explained himself, and she was frankly impressed by his responses. Clearly he had done this before. Aial nodded, satisfied at the responses, as she pulled out her newly acquired blaster pistol. It was a DH-7, pretty typical stuff, but it at least looked nice. "I'll pull back on the killing intent then." She mused, taking the bottle of water and draining it to half empty. "Not looking forward to seeing another sand world, but I'll live. Maybe I can get a set of vibroblades off world." She thought aloud, before stowing the blaster back in the holster. "I'll get my clothes sorted and be ready to go in a few hours. Let me know when you're ready." Arial would withdraw to her quarters and set her clothes up in a manner she found adequate.

When Hask approached her later, she was halfway through cataloguing info into her new datapads, and though slightly off put by the helmet given to her, she took it none the less. "These always pinch my hair, that's one thing I'm going to miss about my old outfit. The domed design kept that from happening." Arial lamented on the mundane fact, but slide the helmet on, and zipped up her flight jacket, shouldering her new blaster rifle over her shoulder, she was ready to go. "Let's go steal us a ship." Hask would lead her to the impound lot, and through she wasn't found of Hask's method of disarming the cameras, at least they were a nonissue. Arial would have Hask toss her over the fence, putting her foot into his hand, before being flung over the fence. She'd drop into an acrobatic roll, and come up into a low crouch, rifle drawn. "Looks good." She'd whisper back to him, taking the queue from him, Arial would find a hiding place on top of a hover sled loaded with repair parts. Several moments ticked by, before a loud alarm sounded from the ship. Groaning, Arial cast a glance towards Hask, before looking back ahead as several security personnel were moving to investigate what was happening. "Way to go Hask." Arial muttered, as she readied to open fire on to guards, though she remembered to set her rifle to stun before doing so. Arial would wait for the men to get closer, as to get better range, and to hopefully catch them all in a single burst.

Hask was about as annoyed as Arial was. Their job just got a lot harder. "Just keep them back, I can sort this out!" he called out sternly over his shoulder, working further on bypassing the security system.

Luckily for Arial the officers tried to squeeze through the same narrow space between two large containers, offering a perfect bottleneck for her to hit them with one stun shot. But they weren't the only ones. From a different area a few more guards came and opened fire. Crimson bolts smacked into the body of the freighter, doing nothing but scorching the clean paint job. Thankfully their accuracy left a lot to be desired...though a few bolts did get a bit close to Arial's position.

Hask kept fiddling with the system until the constant firing finally got on his nerves. He rushed back to Arial's position and focused the force. The guns suddenly yanked out of all the soldiers' hands and with a flick of Hask's wrist they were all hurled back several feet. "Come on, I'm almost through. Close up here." he instructed then turned back to run towards the cockpit. True to his word he finally managed to break into the ship and the engines fired up before any troopers could recover. The ship lifted off and Hask steered it out of the atmosphere. "Call the Hurricane, tell them we're off." he said to Arial as he worked the controls.

Finally free he sighed and pulled his helmet off. Dropping it beside him he flashed her a smile. "That'll teach me to pay attention to what type of system it is." he commented with a sheepish grin.

Arial took down a pair of the guards, though she was now taking fire, causing her to fall back as her cover exploded around her. Several security speeders were now inbound, as Arial could see their spotlights shining towards their position. Switching off the stun setting, Arial fired covering bursts, not trying to hit the men, but doing just enough damage to get them to retreat or stay in cover. "Hey, hurry up!" She called out, as she rolled behind hoversled to reload, as blaster fire began to hone in on her. Thankfully, Hask was there to help, stepping out from the ship and tossing the firing guards several feet away, bringing Arial some reprieve from their firing. "Thank you." Arial sighed, but was indeed sincere, as she'd follow Hask back to the ship. It wasn't long after that he managed to get the door open.

Hask would go to the cockpit and prepare for a very hasty lift off, as Arial manned the comms. "On it." She called back to Hask, as she dialed in the signal to the Hurricane, as their newly stolen ship limped upwards before finally catching some speed. "Come in Hurricane, come in. We have the goods, repeat we have the goods. Moving out of system now." Arial stammered, before taking the comms and moving into the cockpit to assist Hask. "Alright, they got the message." Arial sighed, sinking into the co-pilot seat. She gave a smirk to Hask, raising an eyebrow. "You mean to tell me you never learned how to bypass a standard installed anti-theft program?" Arial jabbed at him, setting her rifle between her legs and popping it's power cell out. "Then again, you never went to the academy, so I can't be too surprised."

She reported that the Hurricane got the message and was off...and naturally she couldn't just leave him to feel miserable by himself. He gave her a look as she inspected her weapon while teasing him. "Hey, that was anything but standard. That's something else the people rigged up to probably deter hijackers...fortunately we can use it for our own security now as well." he commented with a slight tone of irritation in his voice.

After a second or two he smirked and looked over to her. "I also don't see how you can complain. Your accuracy is leaving a lot to be desired." he said smugly, a triumphant grin stretched across his face. He was quite ready for the following back-and-forth banter that would ensue any moment now.

What better way to end the day?
