Desevro - Maslovar City

To say that the sprawling megacity that was Maslovar held a candle to Coruscant would be a misnomer. While grand in its own right, full of bright lights; big city ideas and buildings. Maslovar was itself, a speck compared to the planetary cityscape that made up one of the Republic's primary trade worlds. Yet it held its own charm. Born upon massive repulsor-lifts, casinos drifted lazily across the skyline. Advertisement boards stuck to the sides of jutting buildings, and the ever-present hum and whir of landspeeders marking the steady beat of the city's heart.

And it is here that the Moff of the Desev System made their home. Well. One of them anyway. The center of Maslovar was a cosmopolitan haven. Many cultures and their species had shops, restaurants, cabarets and business' aplenty here. Whereas before humans had dominated the city; full of xenophobic ethnocentric human leanings. When the planet of Desevro had found that their Moff was in fact, an alien it had caused a stir. And in turn, she had crushed the ignorant human-centric society. Not by force of arms or beguiling magic. But by revitalizing their once great world. The poor found they now had jobs, health care and nutritional assistance. Through working her way from the bottom up the attitudes began to change. And as a result, the marginalized alien population found a more tolerant view amongst human peers.

The home of Moff Ayindri Za'til was a holdover from the regime change. Once belonging to the head of the Oligarchy that made up the planetary government. He'd resisted, threatened, and refused change. In return, he'd been met with a lightsaber cleanly slicing his head from his shoulders. She had wrought many changes. Yet those within her own home were still ongoing. The man that had once been a ruler had such an ostentatious taste in decor it threatened to drive her mad. Whole wings were undergoing renovations. In the mean time, the Sith had taken refuge within a small suite of rooms in a seldom used area.

The study, calming to her nerves, filled with cases and shelves of books, a carpeted floor done in muted color with scrollwork. The light illuminated the chamber through wall-mounted sconces of wrought brass. But it was the desk. The desk at which she presently sat. Having brought it from Kaas City to adorn this sanctuary. The built-in terminals were all alive with various accounts, documents, and information. Here her attentions lay. A Moff's work was never done. There would be more to deal with when the time came. But at present it was the guest who was set to arrive which had begun gnawing at her attention.

Kyuss Thaun, Warlord, Supreme Leader. Why on earth was he set on coming here? Hands clasped upon the table, Ayindri bowed her head slightly in thought. She had of course been conscripting young men and women as per his demands. Shipping them out to be equipped and trained. Hah. That had been and still was a logistical nightmare. What with most having come from other projects around the globe. She had, had to assure them that the pay they'd have received working would be sent to their families, or in trusts for children. Something she had been all too happy to do frankly. Thankfully the disruption to her world's various industries had been minimal thanks to planning and the arrival of droid workers.

She sniffed. Getting to her feet while waving the terminals to shut down. Let the clerks and functionaries handle the minor details. Already, Ayindri had been alerted to the Warlord's arrival on planet. Having sent a vehicle and escort to pick him up and bring him here. Her curiosity and apprehension simply would not be assuaged until the towering Codru-ji made his demands known, face to face.
