OOC: Besides what is listed in Valen’s profile, he is carrying a XPC-71 rifle, 2 EMP grenades, and two thermal detonators.

Coruscant

The Underworld

Evening

A depilated freighter lurched through the bowels of Coruscant. The rusty ship was covered in graffiti as it made its way towards an abandoned landing pad. Coruscant’s poor, and forgotten packed the cargo hold. The Empire’s reign had spread across the planet’s surface. Refugees who had been unable to escape the Core poured into the Underworld, not even the Sith could find them there. The Darkside’s reach was long, the shadow dark. Most of the city was not safe. Most of the people were not safe. The inhabitants of the Underworld had always managed to avoid the gaze of Coruscant’s elite. Even now, the Empire had difficult controlling the sprawling Undercity. It was easy to get lost among the forgotten.

Jedi Knight Valen Pelora huddled among the masses. He swayed side to side as the freighter creaked its way to a landing. He was covered in a heavy tattered brown robe, concealing the armor hidden beneath. He had hopped from freighter to freighter until he made his way into the underbelly of Coruscant. It had taken him days to get to the planet, and too long to get to the Underworld. He had not wanted to take any chances. The Force was pulled close around him.

Coruscant had been lost. Consumed in the fires of the Darkside. He had stood on the streets as the crown of the Republic fell. He had watched men, women, and children die. Sith killed indiscriminately. He had wept for the lives lost, the pain reaching deep into his soul. He had killed. Valen had taken few lives in his life, he had killed twice on Coruscant. Killing was never the answer, even in the defense of innocents. The Lightside was life. Darkness was death. It was time he atoned. He had placed his faith in the Force, and returned to Coruscant.

The Darkside was consuming the galaxy. Tython had burned, his heart ripped out. The Order was in ruins. It was time to stand up. Return the galaxy to the Light. The Jedi were fighting back. If the Republic would not stem the tide, their job would be done for them. Coruscant was being taken back. It was not about revenge, it was about justice. It was about freedom. The Sith would be brought to justice for Tython, freeing Coruscant was for the people.

The freighter shuddered one last time and the ramp lowered. Valen exited with the rest of the people. His hood shielded his face. He quickly checked his gear one last time. The neon lights of the Underworld met his gaze. He quickly looked around for his partner. They had little time to find the resistance fighters. They would need to act fast and try not to draw any unneeded attention.

Coruscant, once the jewel of the republic, now another slaved word that belonged to the empire, but that was something that had to change, the people of Coruscant may have freedom and peace once more, Graurra was inside the freighter they used to land in Crouscant´s underworld, the underworld was known for being a place where there was not much security, being a wild place, the republic had many problems to control the people in there, and so was the empire now, being the main reason why the few people that were still fighting in Coruscant chose the Underworld to hide, but it didn´t work, now the people that were still standing against the empire are in trouble, they have found them and now they were trying to resist with all their might.

It was why they were here, they were moving to the Underworld to help them, not only to save them, but also to give them hope, something that the Wookiee jedi learnt is that a lightsaber can change the tides of a long battle without even using it, that it could serve as a way to raise hope to your allies or as a weapon to make your enemies fear you, now, they were going to save the rebels, and they would give them hope, they would tell them that not only the republic was with them, but also the jedi, that they were not alone, that they had people to call to help them, that message was going to be sent to them, and with that, a message to the empire, we have not lost hope, what happened to Tython would not be repeated, not without resistance from our part.

Graurra had spent the entire trip in the painted freighter meditating, this time that meditation was not a way to prepare himself for combat, he was using a stance he developed long time ago, while meditating, he would be more in touch with the force, in touch with every living form, he could use the force to sense things he wouldn´t without meditating, he was trying to sense where the rebelion was, where were they fighting, so they could help them before it was too late. The underworld was big and it was difficult to find the exact position, but Graurra was able to at least sense where they should go, which direction to take.

Graurra was using is usual red robe, it was strange to see a Wookiee that was not naked or using traditional Wookiee armor, but it was not strange enough to be the center of attention, Graurra created what looked like a bowcaster. it was not a real weapon, but a case where he hid his lightsaber, it made him look like the typical wookiee mercenary, which wouldn´t alert people too much, and they wouldn´t see his lightsaber, you could see people armed almost everywhere in the underworld, but when you see someone with a lightsaber, he becomes the center of attention. When they landed Graurra looked at his jedi companion, pointing into the direction where he sensed more problems, where he sensed more fight when meditating, if the rebels were giving the empire forces a good fight, they would probably be in that direction.

Valen locked eyes with Graurra, his partner. The wookie had donned the look a typical sell sword. Despite his hulking frame, the Jedi fit right in. The Underworld was filled with mercenaries looking to make a quick credit. A heavily outfitted wookie was not uncommon. Thankfully, this one was on his side. They would need Graurra’s strength before this was all over. He had no hope this would be resolved without conflict. There was a time and a place to pray for peace. This was neither. Violence would find them. He did not welcome conflict, he did not seek out. Yet, he would not fear its coming. Not this time.

The two Jedi headed off in the direction Graurra had pointed. Valen tried to keep some separation between himself and the wookie. It was not time to reveal themselves. If they were discovered too soon, they would never make it to the militants. They needed to wait until the exact right moment. He was not certain when that was, but he trusted in the Force. He would know when it was time. As the Jedi walked forward he kept his eyes scanning. He watched the crowds and horizons. He did not think they had been followed, or their presences noted, but he was not willing to take that chance. He would not be caught unaware.

In short order, the two Jedi were cutting down a side street. He could hear fighting up ahead. The Force was filled with mixed emotions. He checked his mental walls, and drew the Force in closer around him. He was careful to keep his Force signature hidden. He knew the resistance fighters were impeding the Empire wherever possible. He hoped they were smart enough to pick their battles. The Jedi were not here to start a full rebellion. They were here to inspire the fighters, keep their spirits high, and ensure them help was on the way.

After a few minutes, the jedi would hear fighting, that was their signal, inded, Graurra would start to walk faster, they couldn´t waste any more time, but that battle, it seemed that it was bigger than the Wookiee initially thought it would, when they reached the location of the fighting, the jedi would see a big building, an old, once abandoned residential building, inside of the building and behind improvised barracks, there were soldiers, smugglers, bounty hunters and people of all types, but they all were rebels, they were the people that was standing against the empire.

And they were being attacked by imperial forces, being outnumbered, two stormtroopers per every rebel, it seemed they were not attacking the empire at this moment, but they were defending their improvised base, and without the help of the jedi, they would fall.
" Man down!" "We are being flanked!" " Need medical attention!" Words that came from the rebels, Graurra could feel that they were losing hope, and that now they were fighting not to win, but to survive. But that was about to change

The imperials didn´t notice the presence of the jedi, and that would favor the two jedi, the imperial officer that seemed to be in charge of the assault talked to a stormtrooper that was besides him, Graurra didn´t understand what he said, but their intentions where clear at the moment he saw that the stormtrooper took a rocket launcher, now it was the time to act.

Graurra nodded to his companion, his eyes were telling him that it was now time. Graurra called the force to aid him, it would concentrate in his hand, creating a force wave that would knock out the rocket launcher trooper, now they knew their position, Graurra took the lightsaber that was hidden inside the fake bowcaster, igniting it, the blue blade made them have hope once again
"Jedi!" "They have come to help us!" "C´mon, men, we can win now!"
The imperial officer seemed disgusted, and scared, now it would not be a slaughter like he thought it would, it would be a fair fight
"Fire at the jedi, now!" He said with a Authoritative voice

The streets rang with battle. Valen had hoped they could avoid drawing attention to themselves. Coruscant was devoid of Republic Troops, and Jedi. Even in the Underworld two Jedi would attract Sith from all over the planet’s surface. The mission had been to inspire the resistance to keep fighting, not incite a full-on rebellion. Clearly, his partner had a different idea. Graurra wasted little time inserting the two Jedi into the battle. Blaster fire began pouring towards the side street. He had a half second to breath and then his Lightsaber was flashing.

Emerald green batted away red blaster bolts. Valen wasted no time moving behind the nearest barricade. The rebel filled building was behind him and slightly to the left, giving him a good view of the structure. He kept his eyes scanning for any danger as he moved. The Force guiding his Lightsaber. He found himself standing beside a large Bothan surrounded by an air of command. He guessed this was the ‘leader’ of this pocket of resistance.

“Can you jam their communications? One word of Jedi in the Underworld and this is over.”

The Bothan smiled, ruefully holding a large blaster rifle.

“Not by first rodeo Jedi, I served in the Grand Army longer than you’ve been lacing up those robes. We have been jamming outgoing communication since this little scuffle broke out.”

Valen nodded and smiled. Tension melted from his shoulders, at least they wouldn’t have to contend with the entire Imperial Army. Lightsaber still ignited, Valen cautiously peeked around the barrier. The Stormtroopers were being held at bay, but it wouldn’t last. The resistance fighters were still outnumbered. He was confident in his abilities. However, he was not a one-man army. Hopefully Graurra had a better idea of a plan than he did. He had thought they would just be providing moral support, not starting the waging of a war.

Artello was tending to a small uprooting of rebels left on Coruscant. These uprisings have been occurring for moths now since the taking of the planet, but little by little, he was extinguishing the fires of rebellion. In fact, it was amazing what the scum bags of the underworld would do to save their own hides let alone a bribe. His CI had given him this particular hide out of a rebellious Force, selling them out for a mere handful of credits. Pitiful. Artello has seen groveling before, being a Lord of his own planet, but there was an extent in which he considered it nearly insulting.

Artello didn't much like Coruscant. As much as the planet was civilized like his own home world, it was a disgusting place filled with a multitude of sorts of filth. He would need to cleans his hands of the world when he left, but for now, he had rats to smoke out of their hiding place. One such rat was the Bothan Commander in charge of this little resistance. However, what most intrigued him was the presence of the Light. There was no doubt that light sided presences were left on the planet, but for him to find them was truly intriguing.

Sending in a small group, he would flank the command center, drawing the Jedi to lead the inhabitants to safety. With nearly double the Forces concentrated, it would be his last move if the commander chose to keep his rebels trapped. However, it would be the Jedi that would be Forced to cover their escape, and that was precisely what Artello intended. Kill the light, and the rest stumble blindly.

As the Forces set charges to breach, Artello positioned himself into the flank of their escape. The Jedi would meet him there, and he knew they recognized his presence there.

Edit: However, as the chargers blew through the door, the Rebels were prepared with a retaliation that broke the line of the Storm Troopers. The Rebels saw their advantage to even the playing field and charged out taking positions behind the abandoned cover laid out by the Storm Troopers only just before used against them.

Artello drew his lightsaber to wield, igniting the white blade to illuminate his black armor and the fortification he was entering from behind the Rebels. The Jedi knew he was present, and it was likely the reason they stayed behind to protect the Rebels' flank from the Sith. If Artello didn't take out the Jedi, the Rebels stood a strong chance of retaking the area from the Storm Troopers. The Jedi and Artello both knew the significance of their duel.

"I'm here Jedi," he whispered under his breath, but they already knew that much, didn't they?

Graurra was not hoping to make a full scale rebellion there, but to win this battle and make the rebels survive another day. many troopers would aim at the big jedi, who would reflect their bolts back to them to non lethal zones, a common tactic used by form V practicioners, Shien form to be exactly, the bolts would be redirected by the blue lightsaber back to the ones who fired them, hitting them in zones that were not vital, enough to take them out but not enough to kill them, legs, arms and shoulders.

Graurra started to call out the force what he wanted to do was simple, he wanted to push all the stormtroopers´ covers to one side, forcing them to regroup behind those covers and therefore leaving the opposite side clear, this would have been enough to help them escape, however, in the end he didn´t need to do that, the rebels, now filled with hope, managed to break the imperial formations and fight back, even outnumbered, they where fighting with all their might, making it a fair fight.

With the help of the jedi,it would have been easy to win that battle, but they couldn't help them now, since there was a new threat, a sith.

He knew it,and the other two force users probably knew it too, this fight would be the one that would declare the winner of the entire battle. The wookiee looked at the man who he was about the fight and standed in a djem so fighting position, they had to win, the rebels had to survive and it now depended of what was going to happen now in this fight

Valen watched a Stormtrooper take a blaster round to the stomach. The Force flushed with pain as the trooper crumpled over. Another life stripped from the Force. He would have never ask the resistance fighters to spare the Stormtroopers, but the loss of life shot a pang through his heart. The Darkside grew stronger with every life lost. War was a tool of the Darkness. Even lives taken in the defense of others was victory for the Dark. The Lightside gave life, it did not take. Far too many Jedi had forgotten that most basic principal. Valen shook his head, this was no time for musing.

He was little help to the rebels behind a barricade with a Lightsaber. He clipped his saber to his belt and unharnessed his XPC. He scanned the road, looking for a vulnerable target. A shiver ran down his spine. The Force ran cold, his heart raced. The Darkside. The all too familiar feeling quickly crept into his mind. He knew what it meant, Sith. It was always Sith. His life was filled with Sith. He had hoped, and prayed, they could avoid harsh conflict. There was no chance of that now. Valen turned to see a black armored Sith standing behind him. The strange white Lightsaber glowing among the rebels. The Darksider must have come through the building to get behind the fortifications.

Graurra was to Valen’s left, standing nearly directly in front of the Sith. Both his fellow Jedi, and the newcomer appeared ready for battle. He had no desire to engage in a lengthy saber duel. War had taught him blasters, and grenades, were just as good as Lightsabers.

The Sith was on his left, he could see almost the Sith’s entire left side. Raising the blaster, Valen fired a quick 3 shots. One at the Sith’s head, then right knee, then right ribs. Hopefully, the Sith would be fully focused on the hulking Wookie, not noticing the less assuming Jedi off to the side. There was about 15 meters between the Sith and Valen.

The wookie was indeed quite tall, and it was almost laughable how in comparison to his fellow Jedi, he towered above human kind to even dwarf some of the largest Sith he'd seen in his line of work. In fact, if the wookie were to reach out his hand to punch his fellow Jedi, his fist would barely scrape the top of his fellow Jedi's head. Regardless, his size would only serve to impede him against the more nimble combatants such as himself.

Unfortunately, he wasn't able to just sit there and admire the wookie's size as the rifle in the other Jedi's hands rosed to look at him from across the open area between them. The moment he saw the rifle move, Artello flicked his right wrist and a burst of Force energy yanked the hulking wookie forward enough to cause him to stumble, but not enough to send him careening across the room. However, if Artello was lucky, he'd find himself a clumsy oaf that would fall right on his face.

At the same time, Artello would bolt to his right in a strafe, choosing not to close the distance just yet; Instead, he followed the curve of maintaining distance towards the opening to a hallway that would lead into the abandonned building that was the Rebel's base.

All the while, his lightsaber was already activated and in the perfect position to block the first of the bolts in which it would be capable of swiftly swinging down and back up to catch the bolts as they reached him.

(Sorry for doing such a short post, but I dont have much time)

Just before the fight began, the sith got shot by his jedi companion, Graurra watched the sith fall and then checked if he was dead, luckily, he was still alive, just unconscious, and this just gave them enough time to help the rebels. Graurra sprinted in the imperials direction with his lightsaber at hand, he was trying to catch as much attention as he could from them while approaching, he wanted to save as many rebels as possible by doing that, the bolts that he was taking were usually reflected back to the ones who shot them, hitting them in non vital areas, the rebels would push back, actually winning the battle.

It wouldn´t take much before they actually won this battle, the sith was out of the battle and both of the jedi were intact, this could be ended quickly now.

Valen watched his blaster bolts strike home, the Sith crumpled to the ground. The black armored, white Saber wielding, adversary lay motionless. He had expected more of a fight. He wouldn’t complain, the last thing they needed was further delay. The rebels were fighting valiantly but were woefully undermanned. Jedi were needed. Valen quickly slung his rifle over his shoulder and ran towards the incapacitated Sith. He was careful to keep his eyes scanning, searching for any danger, while he moved. His mind was thrown wide in the Force. He heard a whistle.

The Bothan Commander winked and tossed him two sets of stun cuffs. He nodded and rushed over to the downed Sith. He securely fastened the stun cuffs around the Sith’s wrists, and ankles. The armor was left on, but he took the man’s Lightsaber. Valen activated his own emerald blade and sliced through the silver tube. With a small move of the Force he tossed the armored intruder up against the wall. The Bothan Commander posted two guards on either side. That would take care of the Sith. Whoever the man was, his time as a threat to the galaxy was over. They would decide what to do with the Sith after the rebels were safe.

XPC still slung over his shoulder, Valen rejoined the Bothan commander. His Lightsaber glowed in his hand. Graurra had already charged ahead, throwing himself in the battle. He would not be so cavalier. They had gotten luckily with the one Sith. The man had been overconfident and overplayed his hand. Valen would not bet on the same happening twice. They were still at risk to draw more attention. He decided the best decision would be to let Graurra lead the charge. He deactivated his Lightsaber, clipped it to his belt, and redrew his XPC. He would make sure Graurra’s back was covered, and watch for reinforcements. He began to pick off isolated troopers. The battle wasn’t over, but it would be soon.

As the battle kept going, the Wookiee would keep pushing forward, bolts coming back to the imperials, they were losing now, and there was no way they could win that fight, bolts kept coming, three of the stormtroopers charged with their melee weapons to attack the Wookiee, simple vibroswords, one came at him swinging his weapon trying to cut the jedi from his right shoulder to the left leg, but Graurra simply blocked it with his lightsaber, parrying it and cutting the vibrosword´s blade, it didn´t seem their weapons were of phrik or any other type of lightsaber resistant material, making the melee fight end even quickier than it would initially, Graurra broke the other two men´s vibroswords with a single swing.

Graurra deactivated his lightsaber to knock them down, he grabbed two of them in the neck and slammed them against the floor, While it seemed like a brutal way to knock those two out, it actually was an act of mercy, putting them down without heavily wounding them, while a wookie in melee combat can kill with his bare fist, Graurra was holding back, they would only have a bone or two broken, nothing that bacta couldn´t heal easily.

But something happened, something that surprised him, when he grabbed the third man to slam him into the floor, a stormtrooper shot him in the head, aiming to Graurra, he dropped the now dead man, and a glimpse of anger and indingation could be sensed in him, those feelings dissapeared after a few moments and Graurra calmed, but, how could they risk their partner lifes like that? He asked to himself. While it was something normal between high ranks of the empire, low ranks and stormtroopers used to at least care about their partners´ lifes a little

The fight kept going and now only a platoon of 10 men from the empire were standing still, all using a big, large improvised cover to protect them from the rebels, while a good thermal detonator could obliterate them all at the same time, Graurra watched too many people dying in this battle. "Cover me, Valen , I have an idea" The Wookiee said, if Valen decided to do it, Graurra would sit and meditate, entering a stance he developed a long time ago, it would end the fight if his comrade protected him from the imperials

Valen watched the battle unfold from his cover. He carefully picked off Storm Troopers who strayed too close to the rebels. He tried to fire avoid lethal shots, he was mostly successful. He tried not to think of the lives he took. The Force was filled with conflict but the death hung over the battlefield. Other Jedi would have shut it out, or ignored the pang of lost life. He couldn’t do that. He had to feel the deaths. He had to remined himself that actions had costs. If he saw the Troopers only as enemies to be killed, he would lose himself. He had to remember who he was. Valen felt every life as it vanished from the Force. It was a terrible feeling. He kept firing.

Graurra was a force onto himself. The wookie Jedi was dispatching Storm Troopers with ease. He felt a stab of envy. Graurra was like a weapon, something Valen would never be. One day he might reach the level Graurra had seemed to attain. He let the wookie continue to work. Eventually, his partner rejoined him. The battle was nearly over but the last few troopers were heavily entrenched. It would cost the rebels dearly to try and take that position. The fortifications would be difficult for Valen or Graurra to scale. His fellow Jedi seemed to have a plan. He simply nodded, slung his rifle over his shoulder, and drew his Lightsaber. The emerald green Lightsaber sprung to life.

“I’ve got you.” He stepped out from cover. The saber drew the trooper’s attention, immediately he was surrounded by a storm of blaster bolts. He took a deep breath and pulled the Lightside around him. The Force flowed through him guiding his motions. His feet were set, his Lightsaber moving smoothly. He was calm in the storm. The tempest of battle melted away and he found peace. Peace in war.

It was time, Graurra kept meditating, he was calling the force, this stance was used to enchance his force telekinesis, his plan was simple enough, he would knock all of the imperials that were still fighting by using the force to move their large cover and smash them with it using the force, so he could finish the fight quickly and hopefully without more deaths.

He called the force to aid him, to help him and make all this bloodshed just end, and the force answered his call, after a few seconds, the large cover would move quickly towards the imperials, hitting them all, some would get hit in the face and others in thebody, depending of their positions, but they all had something in common, they would not wake up soon.

The Wookiee stood up, and exhaustion could be seen in his face, while the Wookiee used his meditation to help him doing that, the cover was still so large that he would need some time to recover from it, but his exhaustion didn´t prevent him from smiling, they had won the battle, and the rebels would survive another day.

The Wookiee approached to the unconscious men that got smacked by the giant cover, seeing if they were heavily wounded, almost every single one of them were not that wounded, maybe a concussion or a broken bone, but there was one of them that didn´t seem to have that luck, Graurra took the stormtrooper´s helmet off and saw the face of a young Iridonian, he had got hit in the head by the cover, his face was full of blood and his eyes were all white, he received the worst part of it, Graurra´s smile disappeared, and he closed the dead man´s eyes "I am sorry" Graurra whispered, after that, Graurra turned to his companion, forcing a smile "I suppose you should talk to them, since I dont think they all understand Wookiees, tell them for me that they are not alone, that we will aid them, but they need to disappear for a while, be unnoticed by the empire, when we and the republic come back, we will help them"

Valen let the Force cascade through him. He could feel his arms beginning to tire as he batted away blaster bolts. He breathed deeply of the Lightside, fueling his body. Red blaster bolts continued to hammer his defenses. He pushed the shots towards the sky and sides of buildings. His feet remained firmly planted, forming a solid base. The Force guided the smooth movements of his Lightsaber. Emerald green blade flashing through the air. Valen could vaguely feel Graurra working the Force. Whatever the wookie was doing required tremendous concentration, and incredible strength. He watched in awe as the Empire’s cover became a weapon. In short order the remaining Storm Troopers were scrambling trying to avoid being hit. None were successful.

The blaster fire had abruptly stopped, and the rebels were cheering. The fight was over. Storm Troopers were either dead, or incapacitated. He tentatively reached out in the Force. They had managed to ‘save’ many of the Troopers. He mourned for the lives lost. He would take what solace he could in the lives they had save. The rebels would live to fight another day, and perhaps the captured Troopers could be shown the error of their ways. Strom Troopers were soldiers, they did not all hold the ideals of their masters. He hoped some would join their fight. Valen smiled at Graurra.

“I’ll talk to the troops.” He deactivated his Lightsaber and clipped the silver tube to his belt. He slowly walked back to the Bothan commander. The greying humanoid gave him a pat on the back.

“I’d nearly forgotten what it was like to have Jedi on your side. Sure you can’t stick around?”

“Would that we could, but we would only bring unwanted attention.” He looked around, watching rebels scavenge armor and weapons from the Storm Troopers. Valen pointed at the cuffed Sith. “We will take him with us, the rest are your responsibility. Please treat them humanely.”

The Bothan scowled. “They wouldn’t do the same if they caught my men.”

Valen gave the commander a sympathetic look. “I know, but we must be better than what we fight against. Otherwise, we will win, and look around to find we have lost what we were fighting for.”

“We will strip their gear, and put it to good use. The prisoners will be treated fairly, and given the chance to earn their freedom.”

“Thank you. I won’t forget this. I need to speak to the men.” The Commander handed him a secure commlink. The message would be transmitted only to the rebels. “My name is Valen Pelora. I was here, like many of you, when Coruscant fell. I fought in the streets as the planet burned. You are not alone. Keep fighting, keep resisting. The Jedi are coming. We are on Coruscant, we are fighting all across the planet. We will reclaim what has been lost. May the Force be with you.” He handed the com back to the commander. “If we could trouble you for a ship, we will take the prisoner. You and your men should go to ground.”

“Way ahead of you Jedi.” The commander handed him a datapad marked with a safe location for evacuation. Valen motioned for Graurra to follow. With a small use of the Force, Valen lifted the captured Sith off the ground. He began to make his way to the ship. They would be off Coruscant soon.

Graurra patted the Bothan´s back while smiling, it was how Graurra tried to say take care, since when you are a Wookiee, you have trouble talking with many people. After that, he followed his partner, grabbing the captured sith who had been lifted off the ground and carrying him over his right shoulder. "Do you think they will be able to keep themselves out of trouble long enough?" he said to his companion after a few minutes, the Wookiee was still a bit concerned about the safety of the rebels, he didn´t really know how much would it take to the jedi and the republic to take back Coruscant from the empire, and, while they would stay out of trouble now, the empire would try to find them and destroy them, this was not a big defeat, but it was a defeat in a planet they had conquered, in a planet as important as Coruscant, little defeats like this one could make the people gain so much hope, think that they can actually fight back, and that when the occasion comes, they can free their planet once more, the empire highest ranks probably understood that.

After a few minutes they reached the ship, it was a small freighter, not very well preserved, not very stylish and not the best one, but it was more than enough to leave the planet.

Valen kept the Force wrapped around the captured Sith. The man was surprisingly light and did not require much concentration to drag along the ground. He wouldn’t harm the Darksider, but he had no intention to make the trip comfortable. Today was a victory. A small victory, but an important one. The people of Coruscant had needed hope. Rebel bands gave them that hope. Their victory in the Underworld would remind the citizens they were not alone. It would remind the galaxy the Jedi still fought. The Republic was faltering, but the Sith would not win. He would fight them at every turn, the Jedi would fight till the bitter end. The war was far from over.

“The Rebels will be safe, for a time. Our appearance in the Underworld will draw increased scrutiny from the Empire, but the rebels will keep fighting. Out manned, out gunned, but this is their home. It won’t be the Empire’s for long.”

The Jedi arrived at the nondescript freighter. It was exceedingly plain, the perfect ship to escape Coruscant. Valen quickly secured the Sith in the cargo compartment. He made sure there was no chance of escape. He left Graurra to guard their guest, while he headed to the cock pit. In short order, the engines were primed, the loading ramp was closed, and they were slicing through the Underworld. He was careful not to draw unwanted attention as they weaved their way towards the upper reaches of the planet. He breathed a massive sigh of relief as he saw space. He punched in the hyperspace coordinates for Dantooine, and jumped. They would drop the prisoner off and then he would return to the Peacekeeper. A smile spread across his face. He knew all over Coruscant Jedi were completing similar missions.

OOC: This post completes the thread.
