Jace was standing outside of the palace of Maze Krim, Head of the Pyke Syndicate checking to make sure he was ready for anything. Both of his CSR-2A Blaster pistols were fully loaded and set to kill, the two reserve packs in his pocket are confirmed with a pat of his hands. Scanning the area and the Large Cartel force that had gathered, surrounding the palace to stop any attempt at escape, and teach a swift lesson to Krim shoould he decide to do this the hard way.
Deltyn, Jace's Vigo had somehow managed to secure a prime spot for the youth in this endeavor of leading the delegation with his partner, to help his protégé or get him killed, Jace wasn't sure.
He only knew two things for sure about this situation, first was that his partner Preyt Jhess was as intimidating as they come, the talent stemming naturally from his reptilian Appearance, being a Trandoshan had that advantage, Jace couldn't even begin to guess at what was going through the mind of the bounty hunter. And secondly, they were to get Krim to join the Hutts, by any means.
Looking over to the Trandoshan the young criminal fiddles with the button to his helmet, wondering if it would be better to have his youthfulness hidden when entering, Krim might take offense to a 'kid' accepting his defeat.
"So my fierce friend, should I wear my helmet or just go as is, might piss the man off him seeing a kid at his lowest.
While they hadn't spoken really, the youth could tell a more experienced individual when he sees them. Clicking his tongue the young man looked at the alien terrain, black stone everywhere pretty ugly, he couldn't wait to get off this rock and have a little infamy and creds.
"Let's hope he realizes the position he's in and this all goes smooth, the Hutts get what they want. One way or another."
If everything went as planned this would be a good stepping stone for him on his climb to the top, and hopefully his new partner wouldn't shoot him in the back.

Preyt was preparing all his gear, waiting for the guy they were going to negotiate with (And probably kill) come out, his armor was cleaned and polished, his ryyk blade he took from a wookiee as sharp as ever, the A-45 blaster rifle he had on his arms fully loaded and the stinger stun pistol secuered on his hip as his bacl-up weapon, Preyt could taste the defeat coming from the losers they were about to force to surrender and accept their terms, there was no better feeling than getting to make someone else know how much they sucked. The Trandoshan already took part od the whole operation against the pykes, making them lose the slavers that traded with them after "convincing" them that the Pykes were no good, but Preyt couldnt get enough of their suffering.

Preyt looked as his young partner, Jace, who was asking him about if he should hide his face behind the helmet or not, Preyt let out a soft, low laugh, not laughing at the young Hutt member, but simply finding his comment funny "If thessse guysss don't like having to be brought ssso low by a "kid" like you sssay, the bessst thing you can do isss ssshow your face and accompany it with the biggessst bloody ssshit eating grin you can make" the Trandoshan said, looking at the palace "The huttsss like bringing their enemiesss low, ssso breaking their pride is certainly a bonusss" The Trandoshan explained, letting out another laugh "Keep that helmet near though, in cassse these moronsss try sssomething ssstupid" Preyt added before preparing his blaster, the bounty hunter would aim over the palace, letting out a few bolts to fly over the building to catch their attention "COME OUT KRIM, WE'VE COME TO NEGOTIATE" He said, screaming at the top of his lungs, this would be fun!

The day was far from good. There had been dark days in the past, blood spilled on the steps and dirt on his hands but this was no mere gang war or matter of corporate espionage. This was the full might of the Hutt Cartel coming onto his door step and bullying the Pyke into doing as they wished. It was an unsaid threat. But actions spoke louder than words and the Cartel and all their lackies were definitely speaking plenty. But there was some honor among criminals for being stubborn and down right rabid. One did not want to have to tangle with a dog backed into a corner, it had nothing to lose and could very well still bite.

Krim rubbed his temples on either side of his relative miniature face. A dozen guards with thunderbuss pulse wave blaster rifles flanked the leader of the syndicate as he summoned up the will to deal with the Cartel members that had come to speak with him. The palace was still heavily fortified and he could probably kill both of the people coming to meet with him but that would probably just end up with the palace getting bombed by the Cartel fleet. "bring them in. Let's get this over with." with a wave of his hand two guards moved to open the doors and lead the Trandoshan and Human Besadi into the meeting room. Each guard was wearing Clovic body armor and were the loyal members of the Krim's personal security. They were ready to engage the two Besadi if they made any aggressive attempts towards Krim.

Having been lead into a meeting room, Jace set eyes upon the head of the Pyke Syndicate Maze Krim and the guards flanking him, all these guards for just two people made Jace prioritize Krim as his first target should things go south, before he would try to high tail it out of there, he'd rather die taking the bastard with him. Stepping forward with Preyt he give a dip of his head before he speaks.
"The Hutts send their greetings Mr. Krim, I won't insult you by asking if you know why we're here, as you are already aware of the situation, and my associate and I are only here to make sure things go.. smoothly in your integration into the Cartel.
Turning his head to Preyt. He decides to play the inexperienced card. "I miss anything?"

Preyt smiled after seeing the gates open for them, doing a two finger salute to them while keeping the smile on his face as he entered the palace alongside the younger member, Preyt's smile wasn't a smug one but the kind of smile that the people that came into someone's doorstep have when they try to sell something, like a vaccuum cleaner, or drugs, which was much more common in his neighborhood back at Nar Shaddaa.

"Thank you by not ssshooting usss on sssight, it will make thingsss a whole lot easssier thisss way, I asssure you" The Trandoshan said, looking at Krim before eyeing a the lots of guards that were currently protecting him. Preyt let Jace speak up, letting a small, friendly smile that didn't look friendly at all because he was a Trandoshan "Nah, you've got it right mate" He responded, looking at the small Pyke Syndicate leader again "Ssso, ssshall we get to it then Mr. Krim?"

The leader was unamused and skeptical of the two besadi before him. His magenta eyes squinted as he analyzed the two of them. One was small in stature, under developed or perhaps a runt. Maybe he was not a human. There were so many species in the galaxy that they were hard to keep track of these days. The other, a trandoshan did not bother the Pyke too greatly. He had employed members of the species as bodyguards and hitmen before. But neither of them looked to be the blundering morons that were in large supply.

A long sigh filled the air for a few moments after the two Cartel agents spoke. It was the type that was made when one lamented the earlier peace and silence but knew it was inevitably going to change whether they liked it or not. But Krim took a drag from his pipe, a long and slow one, before blowing it towards the two Besadi. It did not stop more than a meter away from the leader of the syndicate before it rose and dispersed.

"I can still have my guardss sshoot you. Things can change eassily." Krim's own voice sounded slightly synthesized, the iconic pyke characteristic. A pause followed his words as the guards straightened somewhat, indicating they were simply waiting on Krim's word to do anything. "But let'ss get on with it then." He waved for the two besadi to propose and say what they had come to say.

Jace's turning back to Krim, his eyes taking any the room as The Pyke responds with a warning of His and Preyt's precarious position in the room. Giving a slight smile to hide his nerves, the guards all too prepared for his liking he was starting to think his Vigo did indeed sign him up for his death. "Of course you could Kill us, but it would change nothing, we're just pieces being pushed on a game board. The Hutts would still come, at least this way we have a chance to all stay alive." the young criminal replies, tone firm but not disrespectful in intent, he pauses to gather his thoughts, wishing he'd had a grenade of any kind in this place would be great, he planned his actions in advance should the deal go south. Helmet, Krim, door. Basic but it would hopefully get him out the door and better cover the room was pretty sparse for cover, hopefully his partner would target guards if 'it' hit the fan, he thinks before continuing.
"The proposal is simple, the Pyke Syndicate is to be absorbed into the Hutt Cartel, along with any and all of it's subsidiaries. In return you will be allowed to keep your position in the running of the business, you will need to pay a tax to them occurs but you will receive all the benefits of being a member. The Hutts believe that by combining our forces we will become a true power in the Galaxy, and thus profitable." he pauses once again wondering if he should push the envelope just a bit more, he could put an open offer on the table for any of these guards to take Krim's place instead, and rule the new Pyke branch of the Cartel. 'screw it, go for broke... Looking around at the assembled guards he hopes a seed of greed will be planted in a few minds. "I have also been instructed to say this, so no Disrespect to you sir. the youth speaks as he looks back to Krim, the youth putting on a little nervous act to sell that this wasn't his idea, but a ruthless Hutt Lorda who cared nothing for his 'tools'. "This offer is open to Any member of the Pyke Syndicate who is willing to enter into a mutually beneficial arrangement. As a part of the Hutt Family." he hoped his emphasis on any member was enough to make the guards realize they had a chance to step up and sieze some power, and hopefully realize only one of them could. if Krim could back him into a corner, so could he. If Jace was to die today he wasn't going alone. Hopefully Preyt had something fun to add, really get them all worried.

The Trandoshan bounty hunter found himself nodding at what the kid was saying, he understood why he was his partner for this, the young human was good with works, something that the Trandoshan lacked, being pretty much straightforward, which was not always all that useful

However, Preyt found something to say after Jace was done explaining the terms, something that could work on their favor "Of courssse, that inssstance would only happen in cassse Mr Krim rejectsss our offer" Preyt added to the young Hutt member's last statement "Becaussse otherwissse, the Huttsss would only consssider exterminating you all after taking our deathsss asss rejecting their offer" The Trandoshan explained nonchalantly, sounding like he didn't fear his death, like if he was taking importance of it "I alssso want to add that, even though the Huttsss had decided to corner you like thisss, sssomething that I totally underssstand why it pisss you off, they have great respect for you and the Pyke Syndicate" Preyt said, adding a smile to the whole statement.

"Many lawlesss gangsss, many criminal organizationsss, have tried to fight the Hutt cartel, they all failed and got exterminated" Preyt pointed at Krim with his finger "But you and your Pyke organization? You have actually given usss problems for a long time, you have been a royal pain in the Huttsss assses and actually rivalled usss. That's why the Hutts haven't just bombed this place and exterminate you all, that'sss why they are trying to make busssiness with you, that'sss why we are here" Preyt said, taking out a small sigh before proceeding, his hands now intertwined "I know, I know, you probably are assskin' yourssself "how can I trussst a Hutt? The anssswer isss sssimple, you don't, the fat ssslugsss are professsional backssstabersss, people without any morals, mercilesss and greedy" He said, dismissing the fact that he was basically dissing his bosses "But...they care a LOT about their dealsss, if you have a deal with them, they won't break it, if you hold the end of your bargain, they will hold theirsss" Preyt added, letting Krim process everything he just said, hoping this could make the offer more enticing.

The Pyke leader scrutinzed the two Cartel agents. The individual was not overly prideful to the point that it would make him doom his entire operation but he could think of a few things to do with the two before him. The child could probably be sold to some debaucherous senator that owed him favors. It would just add to the dirt he had on the man. The Trandoshan, if he survived any attempt to capture him would be a good slave guard. He was sure he had some slave trooper armor stashed somewhere. That, or gladiator pits. He murmured and stroked one of the tassel handing from his chin as if thinking on the proposal the two Besadi had brought to him when he was instead thinking of what decadence he could enjoy in the last few legs of his empire.

Ultimatly the Pyke thought better of it. Why sacrifice all of his hard work for just a few small messages. It was not like he was going to be remembered for eons to come. Better to live and enjoy what sins he could as much as possible at this point. "Very well. However I have a few conditionss. The tax will not exceed ten percent of any present profits. No seizure of existing assets. Is that understood?" The man did not want to end up having the fine print saying the tax would be higher than his profits. The current ships, locations and personel were working to earn those profits and he needed them where they were otherwise the Hutt Cartel could very well extort money from him and say it was his fault for not performing when in fact they were moving his goods for their own end.

Jace waited for Krim's response showing none of the nervousness that he felt inside, he hoped that the Pyke would want to continue living gis life at the top, relatively speaking. The young man wished he could sigh in relief as the Syndicate leader threw out an offer. 10%? if he agreed to that the Hutts would feed him alive to something horrible, like a Rancor, he had to get it higher, 20% would do but that would get shot down, quickly he decides he has to go higher than what he needed for this to be a success.
"Ten? You know the Hutts won't accept that, I go to them with this and I'm finished. twenty-five percent and we can put this whole thing behind us, the Hutts will be happy and we can look forward to future profits. "
Jace makes his counter offer, hopefully they would settle this amicably, the teen really wanted to survive this, and hopefully having a Trandoshan around would be beneficial if events unfolded unfavorably.

Preyt was almost smiling the moment he heard the Pyke leader said "very well" But that smile faded out the moment he decided to go and explain his terms, there was no way he would survive in the Cartel if he brought them such a shitty deal, Krim might as well just shot him in the bloody head, it would end being just about the same for everyone involved. To be honest, Preyt was about to snap at the Pyke leader and tell him how stupid he was if he thought that was a good idea, but thankfully Jace talked instead of him, asking for a more suitable percentage, which shut the giant Trandoshan up for the moment "Yeah, he got the right idea, the bloody ssslugsss won't let any of usss alive with this percentage" Preyt added to Jace's statement "But, yeah, you can keep your asssetsss, we have no problem with that, all your men and ssstuff isss yoursss, after all, the Huttsss wouldn't get the toolsss away from sssomeone who isss gonna earn them money, would be a bad busssinesss move" The Trandoshan explained, hoping the Pyke wouldn't simply go and shoot the messengers.

The man sighed at the inevitability of the haggling. He had not really expected things to be fair. The Hutts could probably try and demand more but end up with more of hindrance towards their own operation. He was about to state that any profit and product the Hutt's wanted would possibly be coming in at lower levels than when the Pyke syndicate had been operating at one hundred percent. But he hoped they already understood that was the case. Such was the price for taking the money that would otherwise go towards endeavors to maintain current operation.

"Fine." He said simply. While the Trandoshan seemed hot headed like his species was known for he reigned in any passionate annoyance and responded coherently. The Pyke had work to do and changes to make so that there would be an easy transition with the new system.

Jace stood waiting for Krim to respond, the Pyke's sigh made the young man nervous that he would order his guards to open fire, finding the offer insulting.
Jace managed to not gasp when the words 'Fine' left the Syndicate leader's mouth.
They'd done it, manged to get this whole kriffing thing over and done with, and he was still in one piece, oh he'd be having a chat with his Vigo for the 'help' in getting him in the door, letting out a sigh the youth dips his head respectfully, and bending slightly at the waist.
"I'm glad that we have reached an agreement, and hopefully we can put this unpleasantness behind us and work towards a richer future."
Turning his head to the Trandoshan he smiles tightly before speaking calmly.
"What do you say about us getting out of here while the weathers clear?"
The youth really wanted to get out of here before any anger had time to rise in the Pyke, he'd rather his subordinates be the subject of his ire, and not him, he hoped his partner would be just as happy to leave as he was.

The Trandoshan let out a sign of relief after seeing that the Pyke leader was more reasonable than he looked like, they somehow managed to get this deal going with a man that was veeery displeased about his current situation, most criminals he knew would rather shoot like cornered animals and dig themselves in their own grave rather than try and be...well...reasonable, specially after refusing to play by their rules or accept their shitty offers.

"Yeah, sssure, enough work for today" He said, smiling at his young partner in response. The Trandoshan didn't say anything else until they got out of the mansion, telling the large cartel force that was gathered to go home because they were not needed anymore, after that, he turned towards Jace "Welp, the Huttsss were right about one thing, the negotationsss were ssshort" The bounty hunter pointed out with a shrug "Good thing I had you there buddy, thingsss would've gotten a lot more ssshooty if I had to deal with the diplomatic ssstuff on my own" Preyt knew damn well his strengths and weaknesses, he was a great shooter, a good fighter and a very handsome fella (at least that he thought of himself) but he also knew that he was a bit too full of himself and had a short temper that would've probably made him shoot the midget Pyke leader otherwise "Letsss go have a drink kiddo, firssst round it'sss on me"

OOC: You are the last post man, finish this @TheRevanchist

Jace flashed a smile to he trandoshan.
"Sounds good to me.
He replies to the offer of drinks as he and his partner make a quick exit of the room, and soon the building.
Jace was pleased that no blaster bolts were sent towards them as they made it safely on the outside the doors closing behind him he let's out a loud sigh of relief and a ruefull chuckle glad to be in one piece, now hopefully this deal worked, if it didn't well he'd be the one to deal with the consequences.
Now it was time to get back to the relative saftey of wonderfully chaotic, Nar Shadaa.
/End thread
