Now a Knight

[Kade]

It was around 10 PM, and Kade Yi sat in a Coruscant. He was not easily spotable, he left behind his Jedi Robes for a simple Black Long Sleeved Shirt, and Black Pants, with - obviously black boots. He sat at the bar, looking around at the different men, most people there were human, but there were a few iridonians, Kiffars, even a Wookiee, who was oddly silent - and was deeply into a game of pazzak.

Kade sat down on the black bar stool silently, looking around as the large human, and very obease. He wore a old tattered apron, that had drink stains all over it. Under that, he wore a simple white shirt, and tan pants. Kade watched as he filled the men's drinks, and when he came to him, Kade smile. "Corellian Whiskey, it's time to celebrate." The man let out a laugh, and quickly grabbed a mug, and filled it with Corellian Whiskey. "First one's on the house, we're celebrating too."

Kade let out a laugh as he sipped on the Corellian Whiskey, looking around the room. After the first sip, Kade was done, it was too strong for him - obviously the man had put something in it. Kade slowly stood, and walked outside. He looked around for a second, but continued to remain wobbley. He sat down on a park bench, attempting to use the force to de-circulate the drink, and whatever it was, and de-activate whatever affect it was having on him. Luckly for him, the single light over his head made him able to see almost anything.

 

[Iorthunger]

Ior was in the bar, when he noticed a jedi run outside. Ior quickly gulps down the rest of is jawa juice, and runs outside to meet the man who ran out side. He was definetly a fellow jedi, he eyes his lightsaber and reconized him from the training room.

''Are you okay? just saw you run out side for an unknown reason and, I want to help what ever is going on.''

 

[Kade]

Kade looked up, it was another Jedi Knight, and Kade was startled. "I'm that obvious, eh?" Kade said with a laugh as he stood up, and offered the man his hand. Kade slowly flicked back his hair, revealing his blue eyes, lighter then most, and almost illuminative. "The Name's Kade Yi, and you know what I am, but we best not mention that, we're not welcome around these parts." Kade said with a laugh. "So, I've seen you around the temple." He said with a smile. He looked over, back into the bar.

"I think someone in there payed that man to slip something into my drink, probably to knock me out, or something worse- either that or the bartender himself is a Jedi hunter." Kade said, slowly sitting back down, looking around the empty road, most people were inside now, sleeping or watching the holo-news. "Do you think we should go back in there and question the man?" Kade said, looking up at the other Jedi Knight, "What would Master Xiantos do?" Kade said quietly to himself, thinking of what his master would do, be passive; and wait for the bar to close, then ask the man, OR be agressive; rush in and grab the man, bring him outside for questioning.

"I think we should wait." Kade said, looking up at the man. "Thats if we want to rush him, I've drank Corellian Whiskey before, there was something.... odd to it."

 

[Iorthunger]

Ior extendes his hand helping his fellow jedi knight to his feet, before anwsering he ponder for a few moments.

''I sense a threat, we should rush in and allow nobody in and nobody out of the bar, until we find the threat and take him to the council.''

Ior stands confident with his anwser, turning to kade awaiting his actions.

''Oh, by the way my name is Iorthunger Daeburn''

He lets a little laugh, pulling out his lightsaber ready to rush into the bar.

 

[Kade]

Kade looked over at the man, remaining silent. "No, if we rush in, we rish civilian casualties, we dont need that - we should meditate on the force, and then when the bar closes, question the bartender, then find who attempted to drug me, if anyone did." Kade said, "and it is nice to meet you Iorthunger." Kade said, looking back into the window of the Cantina.

He noticed a man, who was wearing armor, just like a bounty hunter would, and a blaster rifle, it looked to be modified, a lot. "perhaps that's him." Kade said, looking over at the other Knight. "He seems to be paying the bartender, much more then what any drink costs." He said, checking back at the other knight, then looking back into the window. "You'll follow the bounty hunter when he leaves, ok?" Kade looked back at him. "I'll question the bartender."

 

[Iorthunger]

Ior nodds, kade was right We do not need to risk the lives civilians.

''Sounds like a plan.''

As soon as the bounty hunter exit the bar, Ior was already there with his lightsaber to his neck.

''One slight move and your done. Why are you paying the bartender to poison a jedi?''

Ior swung his lightsaber downward, destroying the bounty hunters wepon. Then raising it back to his neck in miliseconds.

[Kade]

Kade looked over, and watched the Jedi's brutality. "how was he made a Knight?" He said under his breath, slowly walking inside and taking a look about. The place was near empty, and the bartender had just gave his last call. Kade sat down on a stool, looking over at the bartender.

"You're still here, eh?" The obease Besalisk said to Kade, a grin on his face. Kade looked up slowly. "Yes, I am." Kade had a serious attitude on his face, this man was going to be in deep trouble if he didn't fully cooperate. "would you like to do this here, publicly? -- or perhaps in your back room."

The Besalisk looked around. "back room." he muttered, and slowly began to turn, walking to the back room, after about five minutes, to avoid suspision, Kade wandered in and quickly saw the man. "Why did you attempt to kill me?" Kade said, looking at the man.

The Besalisk sat down on a bench. "the bounty hunter offered me 100 credits, legit ones too."
Kade looked down at the man wish a sence of disgust. "Did he say who he was working for?"

"no, he didnt" The Besalisk replied, almost scared for his own life. "Did he have anything that perhaps could've showed who he worked for?" "No sir." the Besalisk replied, now almost shaking. Damn! Are the sith paying mercs to hunt us now? or is he just a jedi hunter, and want's a new head - or a saber to collect? was Kades thought on this matter. "Go home, go to bed bartender." Kade said, slowly turning and walking away.

The bartender sat in the darkness, it was almost as if he had never visted the Besalisk.

Kade quickly ran outside, and saw Iorthunger 'dealing' with the bounty hunter. "Disignite that blade!" Kade quickly yelled, looking at Iorthunger. Kade's eyes showed an angry and dissaproving tone, and his body - his body was ready if he had to physically stop Iorthunger.

 

[Iorthunger]

Ior looked at kade through the corner of his eye he knew what he was doing. He knew KAde wanted to deal with tis more peacefull, but Ior beleived he should get this done quickly before he harms anyone else. When Ior put his wepon to the bounty hinters neck, he was just about to fly off.

''This is the man who wants you dead, we are taking him to the council. Cuff him!''

Iors voice was cold and raw, waiting for kade to cuff the man.

 

[Kade]

Kade looked over at Ior sickly. He looked back, where the torn down Jedi Temple lay in ruins. "You do it." He said darkly. He turned so his back was facing Ior, and began to walk away. Kade couldn't understand, how was this man a Jedi Knight? He was brutal, never thought, and was not listening to the living force, this man wanted to do things his way. Kade sighed quietly to himself, as he slowly walked away, His Guardians Lightsaber basically moving with his body. His saber was that of a Jedi Guardian, the blade blue and truthful.

He continued to walk, the people of Coruscant looking at him, as if he was a stranger to them, then the others embraced him, for he was no brute. He smiled softly and peacefully as he looked at everyone, continuing to walk away from Ior.

 

[Iorthunger]

Ior coulden't understand why kade was walking away, this man tryed to kill him. The bounty hunter should be brought to the council. There was nothing brutall about Ior anymore. He is just doing the wise thing by bringing him to the council, he is not harming him in anyway. He does not want this man harming anyone, so he is bringing him to the council. The council will decide what to do with him. Ior used to force to contact Kade.

''Why are you walking away? this man tryed to kill you, he should be brought to the jedi council. They will decide what to do with him.''

 

[Kade]

Kade could feel the man through the force, and he had sent him a force message. Kade closed his eyes for a second, and sent one back.

It's the way you delt with his arrest, when you take out your saber, it means you are prepared to take a life, you should've used the force to subdue him, not a weapon.

Kade said back in his mind, and slowly walked away, continuning to walk to his ship he had borrowed from the jedi an ETA-2. He looked to the left, and the right - all around him there were smugglers, bounty hunters, and others, mostly innocent people. He had an overcoat that he had pulled over himself, his saber was now concealed and he was not safe from Jedi-Hunters, due to the overcoat, not only did he not look like a jedi, he was now almost perfectly blended in with all of the civillans.

Kade cursed silently to himself as he slowly walked into the hanger, then began to speed up as he got to his ship, got in, and Ignited it. Looking back to a large window to see the jedi ruins. He sighed as he began to lift, and as his ship went into the atmosphere, he saw the temple, the pillars were destroyed, a sad sight for any jedi. "Damn them." He said to himself as he quickly selcted the hyperdrive coordinates for the jedi temple, then pulled back the ignition lever, and shot into hyperspace.

Kade wasint very farmiliar with bounty hunters oviously. Ior used his wepon so the bounty hunter would not try to use his flame thrower, they had manny wepons in their armor. Before Ior cuffed the man he removed his jet pack, and all of his wepons. He led the man to his ship, on his way to take him to the council.
