APPEARANCE:
Even though she is not a member of the official Jedi Order, she still follows the tradition of wearing a Padawan braid. Hers is narrow braided, often draped with a single velvet band. The braid ends around the height of her collarbone, where a tiny, white feather and a gift of her master serve as decoration. The gift is a tear-shaped piece of Amber, in which a myrkrsh' firefly is embedded. As the Fly is still glowing one could assume there is a powerful message behind that present. Maybe it's about death and how it's not the end, maybe it's about hope, but maybe it's still just a pretty adornment. However her braid reminds more of the playfulness of a fairly young girl than of the classic version.
Three years ago she lost half of her pinkie finger as well as the top of her ring finger on her left hand. After the accident she either keeps her hand discreetly behind her back or wear gloves, to hide the fact that she's not whole anymore. Her dominant hand is the right hand, which means the accident two years ago was not fatal to her further training.
Her wardrobe is dominated of Sand-, Umbra and diverse pastel colours. She likes tight trousers when it comes to daily routine. If it comes to footwear it's mostly leather, either boots or sandals. A quite and stern man, who tends to take things very serious. He is strict but fair, however when he finally manages to relax he has a fine sense of humour, is generous and all together pleasant company.

She tries to use wits and logic, yet this approach fails often enough, because of her temper. This still doesnt mean she lacks sense. Nova is a quite skilfull liar and has no remorse lying to people if it serves a good purpose. Over the years she got quite talented with building extensive constructions of lies. Yet if given the chance, she prefers telling the truth.
At the moment she has little understanding for politics, something Master Alister deeply hopes will change in the future. She isn't lacking a certain diplomatic felicity but she quickly meets her limits ,if her counterpart isn't easily sorted into her established 'Good' and 'Evil' sheme.
Her Master is her temple, her sanctuary, and even though she can't understand all of his decisions, she honors and loves him more than everything else. Many of her actions happen out of the will to please him and to earn his respect. An insult against him will more likely arouse Novas anger then his own.
All in all Nova is a very ambivalent character. A young girl, so sweet, if she likes someone or feels the duty to protect them, but a vicious little viper whos bite can become quite venomous.

Novas Past is somewhat mysterious, even for herself. She has some hazy memories of her mother, a beautiful woman with the same golden curls as her very own. However apart from that, everything else vanishes into darkness.

Master Alister and Nova live a quite restless life as nomads. Over the years Nova got the impression they were trying to escape something and began to question her Master with fierce, causing him to finally give her at least some pieces of information. He told her, she had powerful enemies which she inherited due to her blood and name. However he still denied to expose her true name or origin. As for now she shares the name with her master, she even calls him father most of the time, which he seems to enjoy secretly.
Nova lost her integrity three years ago when they were raided by space pirates, struggling to this day with the consequences of this misfortune.
RP-Start: Master Elgrin and Nova are on Iridonia, where they get poisoned by unknown enemies. Alister manages to save his Padawan, hiding her in one of the many stalls Randons Basars are famous for.
Nova awakens the next morning, still feeling ill of the poison and desperately trying to find her Master. After another two days she had to face the fact that he was gone.
Now she is on her way to the Jedi Order to plead for help, hoping to find fromer friends of his that might not have forgotten about him and are willing to look out for him.

- Marksmanship: Surprisingly Nova is a quite good marksman, however of course far from a master.

Telekinesis: "If it's my turn to clean the ship I use the force. The cleaning rag is not to heavy for me to move!" Small objects are easily within her power, she could be way more powerful if she wouldn't be distracted so easily.
