Ask Dathomir Not Expecting the Unexpected

Arla could tell that he'd taken the very obvious bait. Was it really bait? Was this part of that courting ritual that off-worlders did? Flirting? Yes, she was flirting even if it wasn't exactly with incredible amounts of subtlety.

I'm absolutely think I could find ways for you to make it up to me for your rebellion, she said. I'm sure I could find... she stopped herself short of saying something very inappropriate.

She stopped up short if only barely.

Dare I ask what you think about Dathomir? she asked. It was a change of topic, but perhaps she'd lure him back into a bedroom during a tour. She had no shame, she'd make it plenty obvious for him.

Probably not to your taste, she guessed, but still a rare place for most off-worlders to see.

 

[Wodan]

Wodan could feel his blood and other things rise as the conversation continued. The serious expression from before quickly shifted to a more playful one, part of him wondering how quickly he could remove the cumbersome armour. Then well the conversation drifted so dramatically to one side he almost got whiplash.

“Umm.” He was caught off guard by the change and didn’t really know what to say. “If I am honest, I haven’t seen enough of it to make an opinion. I would say the hostess is rather beautiful, but for the rest of the planet I cannot say.” He replied truthfully, on the flight down from space he had been flicking through papers to do with the Knights. Once he arrived he moved quickly from the landing pad into the palace, only a quick glimpse over the surrounding area as he passed inside. It was red, there was a lot of red, but I doubted that was the answer Arla was after.

“Perhaps you can give me a tour in the future.” He said.

Arla was completely oblivious to just how rapidly the conversation had shifted. In her mind, it all was connected, but outside of her head, it was far less so. Well, his evaluation of the planet was probably a fair one: he hadn't seen very much of it.

In the future? Seize the present, she said, rising to her feet and deciding that they were taking the tour now. After all, the official business was mostly done, which meant now was the time for play and... other activities.

I am going to change into something more comfortable, she said, meaning that completely literally rather than the typical way that it was used off world. I could find you a Nightbrother outfit if you don't want to wear armor, she said, suppressing a smirk and knowing full well just how much torso was exposed with Nightbrother garb. All of it. It was all exposed. The outfit was just pants.

She started heading deeper into the palace, waving for him to follow her as she made her way back toward her room where she would find other clothes.

 

[Wodan]

Wodan jumped to his feet as Arla done the same, knocking his chair back, catching it just in time before it crashed into the floor behind him. His eyebrows rose when she mentioned changing into something more comfortable. “Well if you need assistance I would be happy to help.” He said, stepping out from the table and around towards her.

The armour itself wasn't uncomfortable, but if he was going to be trudging out in the jungles of Dathomir the blood red duraplast was impractical if not uncomfortable. “Something with a bit more breathing would be nice.” He replied, completely oblivious to what outfit Arla had in store for him.

Arla actually had a small chuckle as he aggressively leapt to his feet, nearly knocking his chair over.

You just want to get my out of these, I doubt you'd be much help getting me into anything new, she quipped back to his comment as she continued down the halls and waved down one of the passing Nightsisters.

Would you get our guest a Nightbrother outfit? she asked, immediately causing the other woman to give a skeptical scowl at Wodan. Arla didn't argue and knew the woman would comply as she continued down to her own room.

She disappeared into a closet and emerged with an outfit for herself a moment later. A moment after that, the other woman appeared, handing him an outfit that was far more reasonable than Arla had been hoping. A simple pair of pants and a tunic. She let out a quiet hmph more to herself than anyone, and proceeded to begin changing her clothes with no qualms about him still being in the room.
