If they did, I wonder what side China and Russia would take.

There is absolutely no reason for China and Russia to "side" with North Korea. They would just allow the United States to bomb North Korea's military installations and its nuclear facilities.

I actually heard that China and Russia were urging NK to return to talks with the U.N. and other world leaders. If Kim launches a bomb at the U.S., or anyone, I doubt he can expect much support from up north.

There is more chance of Megan Fox spinning on enormous penis tonight.

When it comes to countries like Russia working with Iran and China working with North Korea, you need to understand that they're not really allies. They just have mutual goals at that time. If the time came when Iran and North Korea went even more batshit crazy than they already are, Russia and China wouldn't side with them. Their countries may suck, but Russia and China are still rationale.

Is it weird that I immediately thought of a Megan Fox/Optimus Prime sex scene when I read that?

Oh dear Chirst! Oh my God! Oh, oh, oh *falls down crying from horror*

But NK doesn't have the balls, the U.S. would completley obliterate them if they did, and NK loses all it allies.

Hate to break it to you but apparently NK has ships with those materials. And they're moving. So distance won't matter.

Hate to break it to you, but that changes nothing but the distance equation.

They're not stupid enough.

There's no threat.

Hate to break it to you, but over confidence is a weakness. So god damn it. Kim has that advantage.

Oh, and: Kim is friggin insane enough to, hmm, I don't know? SEND SHIPS TOWARDS HAWAII?

I'm pretty sure the US, Japanese and South Korean navies would pose a bit of a threat to Kim getting one of his ships anywhere near Hawaii. The US would also be able to shoot down the nuclear missiles, if they were launched.

Furthermore, Kim hasn't even made any threat to nuke Hawaii! Japan is just reporting that North Korea might do this, and giving no reasons for why they think that. There is nothing to worry about, no one is getting nuked.

But maybe that's part of his plan? Why would you want the whole world to know that you're planning on nuking your arch enemy? And besides, 500 miles off the east coast of North Korea is good enough distance.

Hate to break it to you, but this isn't over confidence. It's realism.

And Kim's not going to attack Hawaii. Do you have any idea what you're on about? Doesn't seem like it...

Paranoia much?

You said it yourself: Kim is ****in insane. He is not a man with a plan, he is a man with a very small nuclear stockpile who likes to toot his horn and whore for attention when he's bored. He doesn't have the balls to nuke the USA, even if they are his 'arch enemy'... He doesn't want to die.

He is not a man with a plan

You know what I've noticed, nobody panics when things go according to plan. Even if the plan is horrifying. If tomorrow I tell the press that, like a gangbanger will get shot, or a truckload of soldiers will be blown up, nobody panics, because it's all part of the plan. But when I say that one little old [country] will die, well then everyone loses their minds!

Replacing the word 'mare' with 'country' kinda ruins that little speech... The point that the Joker made with that speech is that people seem to value cetain lives higher then others (the life of a young woman being worth more then the lives of criminals or soldiers, for example). But it is not particularly strange that people care more about the death of an entire country then about the death of a few people, whoever those people are. Because a country's destruction is a much higher scale of death. I hope what I'm saying here is making some sense, I'm finding my thoughts are hard to communicate right now.

Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order and everything becomes chaos.

I'm an agent of chaos.

And I thought Mulluns's jokes were bad...

Fixed.

I'm sure nothing much will happen, just like when NK launched that missile a few months ago and I got worked up over nothing.
