PERSONALITY & APPEARANCE
Strengths Evasive: Nol uses his quick speed to dodge fists, swords and blaster shots- though the latter is more luck based than anything. Quick: He will also use his quick speed to land fast hits on his opponent in brawls. Claws: Nol's claws enable him to cut weak materials like thin wood, cloth, etc. He also gains a bonus in hand-to-hand combat- claws are sharp bro. Energetic: He can go extended periods of time without sleep, and can use this extra energy to attack/dodge more. Weaknesses Kel Dorian organs: Nol's extra sensory organs are, as most organs are, sensitive. Damaging them hinders his reflexes and causes severe pain. Squeamish: Nol does not like gore, or killing, in general. He can handle injuries and minor amounts of blood but more than that and he needs a minute, or two, or ten. Breathing: Nol needs his breath mask on pretty much all the time, and failure to comply with these conditions results in fatality. Remember Vader maskless?: On the rare chance he is without his mask, Nol's charisma drops to a two and suffers a large decrease in social skills. Kel Dor aren't pretty. Physical Appearance Nol is of average height and weight for a Kel Dor and is on the fitter side, opting to stay in shape. He looks very similar to other Kel Dorians. The only things that set him apart are the large, jagged scar atop his head and his silver irises. He's always seen wearing his breathing mask and protective goggles. On the rare chance that he isn't, his mouth is vertical and lined with drooping skin. A beak like nose protrudes from the skin folds and if he were to pull them back, his upper and lower hard-palate would be exposed; the Kel Dorian version of teeth. Outfit wise, Nol wears a tan tunic, black pants, matching gloves and brown leather boots. Around his waist sits a leather belt and the outfit is completed by a dark robe that covers his tunic. Occasionally, he is seen wearing a backpack. Personality Nol isn't a fan of death or displays of violence. Minor injuries he's fine with, but death or limb loss and he's trying to get out of the situation. He tries to resolve fights peacefully, but he can get into a fistfight from time to time. He considers brawling the "cleanest" style of fighting, as the worst he'll see is some bruising or minor blood loss. He is also against thievery and slavery, and will try to do all within his power to stop it. He is a general good guy, and has hardly done anything wrong. As is expected from Kel Dorians though, he can sometimes feel the need to take matters into his own hands. Due to Nol's squeamishness, the matters taken don't usually change that much. Nol is also a fan of learning. Whether that be light saber dueling forms, how to cook or the basics on droid building, Nol is fascinated by almost any pursuit of knowledge. |

CHARACTER HISTORY
| CHILDHOOD: Nol was born into a Kel Dorian noble family. He lived contently with his parents and three siblings; His older brother, Feng, his older sister, Hul, and younger sister, Min. His father would teach him and Feng in the ways of light saber dueling- his father, being a noble, had purchased some light sabers from a rather shady source...anyways, Nol was happy. He and Feng would practice whenever they weren't listening to their parents lectures on responsibilities. They grew very close, and would stay up at night reading tales of the Sith and of the Jedi, their epic battles to save or destroy the galaxy. Dueling had become their passion- but that would soon change. On a day like many others, Feng and Nol had been practicing in the yard again. As they were fighting, Min had come outside to observe them. It wasn't surprising; Hul would come out and cheer for Nol occasionally, and Min would cheer for Feng. As they fought, however, Min had gotten too close. She has been running around them, yelling and cheering, when Feng had gone to parry Nol. Nol jumped back, leaving Feng's defensive swing going wide- and straight into Min's path. Nol won't soon forget the sight of his little sister being cut in half less than five meters from him. He and Feng panicked, and ran inside to get their parents. After all had been explained, their parents were overcome with grief. Their mother cried and weeped, but their father had decided to take action. He took their light sabers for good, and exiled Feng from their family. He was to be dropped off on another planet and left there to live his own life, alone and cut off. But Nol and Feng had grown close, and he wouldn't let go of his brother so easily. ADULT LIFE: On the ride to Nemeira, where his brother was supposed to be exiled to, Nol had talked his parents into letting him go with Feng. His dad said they would remain in contact, but neither Nol nor Feng would get a single credit, weapon, property, or anything more from them than the clothes on their backs, some food and a communicator. The brothers now live on Nemeira, in an inn/tavern's upstairs. They clean, wait on patrons and remove troublemakers. In return they get a cramped bedroom and bathroom. A couple years after they left, Nol discovered he was force sensitive when, feeling too lazy to walk over to a table to clean it, he willed the mug and plate to float over to him. He's practiced it on other things, like his communicator and boots. While Nol had found out about his telekinetic powers, Feng learned he could manipulate other's minds. Nol would watch as Feng would convince the drunk patrons to hand over credits, or buy them drinks, but Nol refused to take any credits from people. He would rather learn to manipulate objects, not people. He eventually managed to convince Feng to stop taking money from people, but the damage had been done. After that, he and his brother grew apart- they still liked being around each other, but Feng would get involved in more illicit activities than Nol liked. Now, Nol mainly spends his time cleaning the tavern or practicing his telekinetic powers in a back alley on pieces of trash. Feng can be seen influencing the patrons to either buy more drinks or just simply hand over their credits. |
