Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more; Or close the wall up with our dead!

The Sith were fighting tooth and nail for whatever they had left. They'd been beaten down and stomped on for too long. Varyn was sick of it, and he knew he wasn't alone. The Sith had been dealt yet another blow at the hands of assassins this time, and before the despair or feelings of loss could set in, Varyn had made his move.

Such thoughts were long in the coming, and though the spider had merely bided his time, the Force had clearly dropped an opportunity in his lap. Whether he felt ready or not, the time to move had come.

The holonet crackled to life with the same mask that had been seen on the holonet twice before. People would recognize the Sith Lord's mask, and feel however they would about it. Varyn was unconcerned with that opinion. If they had no opinions about him yet, they would soon enough.

I don't need to inform any of you of what has happened, Varyn said. Only people who lived under a rock would have been unaware of the Emperor's demise. Perhaps more interesting to observers than Varyn's words was the fact that the Grand Moff was at the edge of the picture with him.

An Old Imperial Sith Lord and the Grand Moff of the Imperial Republica.

But the Empire - the unified Empire - will not be without a leader. I am taking up the mantle of Emperor effective immediately, he stated. It was as much a statement as an open challenge. There were many people who could have attempted to move for power, but none had the resources, backing, or reputation of the Sith Lord. Any who wished to challenge him was welcome, as was custom.

The time of the Empires fighting one another and squabbling is over. Put aside the animosity you may bear for one another, and face down our true enemies, he said. There were Mandalorians and Jedi that needed to be stopped. Their power had grown to a point that stopping them would be a monumental task, but Varyn wasn't interested in stopping and he knew there were others who felt the same.

I am a child of both Empires, and there can be peace. Join me, and together we can bring peace to the galaxy, he said. Some would see it as only rhetoric or propaganda, but Varyn truly believed it. He was fighting for peace and prosperity in the galaxy, no matter the cost.

The Grand Moff Mazim stood to the side of the Sith Lord known to the Galaxy as Varyn Rask.

Even without saying a word, the Grand Moff added some credibility to the Sith's words - just by appearing beside him, he validated the man's claims that he was a child of both Empires. But the Grand Moff was not a man to merely stand beside someone when it came to declaring his allegiance.

"The Moff Council of the former Imperial Republica stands with this man."

Mazim stared down at the camera unflinchingly.

"This man who has struggled, fought and bled for the peoples of both sides of the Empire. This man who reached across the divide and sought to unify while others only sought to better themselves."

Drawing his rather ornate sword, The Grand Moff, a man who had held direct control over more than half of the known Galaxy for several months, went down onto one knee beside Varyn. He pressed the tip of his sword down into the ground.

"All hail Emperor Varyn Rask, The Unifier!"

Harrison heard his comm alert him about a major event occurring. He turned on the holo tv to see Sith Lord Varyn Rask speaking. Pff new emperor? He'll be dead in a week. Harrison didn't have his hopes high that this new emperor would live long enough to even institute or begin the unification. The mandalorians were most likely partying like usual, this was when they needed to strike. Strike as one unified empire. Under one leader. To solidify the lord's claim, a Imperial Grand Moff stood next to him and even bowed. Harrison was beyond surprised. Harrison smiled, it was almost complete, now to see if the emperor would live to see the unified empire.

Rayne was drinking, switching off between glasses of champagne and whiskey, when the beep beep of her data pad went off.

Sitting back, mostly drunk, Rayne called over the nearest Mandalorian, so they could both laugh at this. Yet another Sith was proclaiming himself Master of the the Universe.. Rayne's very drunk reaction was just to laugh, and almost cry a bit after laughing. Oh Kad, this guy is just asking for a bomb under his chair.. she told everyone around her, even rewinding the part about this Sith person begging everyone in the Imperial Republica to fall behind him.

If them imperials knew what was good for them they'd ask us for help taking out those old empire brats.. Rayne said, it was unlikely the imperials and Mandalore could ever get along long enough to go grocery shopping let along launch a military campaign, but it was a good sentiment.

Markov's datapad began to notate on the fact that now there is a new Emperor: Rask, and he has successfully unified the empire. He smirked deviously as he felt now its time to strike back against the Mandalorians, who have violated the peace of the Empire from what he believes are savage assaults. He felt with this new Emperor, he could now take advantage of the situation, and attain power.

He smiled further as he began planning on how he will ascend to rank by bringing peace to the galaxy. He decided that perhaps, to begin, he'd need to learn from the current best: The Emperor himself. He stood from his seat in the bar and headed out, going to call for transport to Courscant immediately. "When I begin my plots, I will manipulate the inferiors into joining allegiance to me, and the Emperor, and we as the Sith, will bring prosperity to the entirety of the galaxy. Anyone who opposes his order will be subject to.. punishment,". He thought as he left, continually scheming. To him, the current situation is the best opportunity to attain power and become a major asset to the empire. He wanted a purpose and to be contributing to it, and he must first gain the knowledge from somebody who could unlock this for him; not just from libraries, but direct instruction.

She finally about to watch the finale of love moon, it was postponed due the breaking news. She had chance to vote for Shany again, this time they where all dressed in black as a mark of respect. She had taken all her posters down of the former emperor, as it was not right to have now dead man up. She was waiting to find out who the new emperor was, but love moon came first. So far no one has asked for support, which was a good thing. As second that was done, her whole family was endanger, no matter what she chose to do, her brothers had been in constant contact with her. They knew if she had chose, they would have to follow. Though trying to persuade her to atleast stall them, and run it by them first. Then obviously hiding mum and dad, during this would be a pain.

Then as they where about to announced the winner, the screen cut to news again. Fething news, I want Shany to win, and see it, who feth died now. She feared the worse a darth, had mysteriously dies today, blah blah blah. She expecting this, hell the entire galaxy is expecting it. The Sith to infight over top job, it is written in sands of time, and the story will unfold again and again.

Then news focused on @Varyn Rask, she listened intently. The speech was good, but it meant he was emperor, without single known drop blood spilt. This was good, but it felt wrong, very very wrong. The sith should not just walk into power, but maybe he had done enough behind the scenes. There was other news, in his speech, the empires are one again. This was a good day, if remain so, but his life expectancy, may have just dropped. As unless his power base is cemented already, he will feel a lightsaber in hi back soon.

Then love moon came back on, this time they announced the winner, weirdly despite him not even being a contestant, it was the new emperor @Varyn Rask.

It hadn't been long since Vrael had fallen—a day at most. Still on Cantonica, Milo was at a local bar down the street from his home, commonly frequented by Sith. It was nice to enjoy the company of his compatriots without arguing and fighting, though everyone seemed to be on edge today, aware of their precarious position on the galactic stage. Here they were, their Empire sprawling over an entire chunk of the Outer Rim, but with no Emperor. They were a ship—and a big one, at that—flying without a captain. Sure, many of them said they would step up and claim the throne, but that was merely the drunken ranting of a man seeking power without the means to get it. Milo himself would have liked to take the position, but he knew his limits, and he knew when and what he wasn't prepared for. Empty or not, the throne would have to wait.

He was on his first glass of the night when another breaking news report came. One of the TVs here was always set on a Sith news channel, so that those around may know what was happening around them. A familiar mask filled up the screen, causing the entire bar to go silent, and a knowing smile clambered up Milo's face. He took in the rest of the shot, down to the Grand Moff poking his head in from the edges. This would not be a transmission that denoted tragedy.

And it was not. As Varyn spoke, Sith around seemed to slowly relax, some even cheering. When he finished speaking, the Moff spoke up, earning even more happy shouting from the patrons. The transmission ended, and everyone seemed overjoyed. Perhaps it was the alcohol; Milo had never seen a group of Sith not brooding. He raised his glass once to the sky. "Long live the Emperor!" he shouted, the chant immediately picked up by the rest of the bar.

"Too many Sith are blunt instruments these days," he murmured with a smirk, quoting the Emperor—a friend. Milo supposed the throne was in good hands now, surprisingly. Dark Lord it is, he thought, though it would be hard to tell if he was joking.

There had been a disturbance in the Force, like a tremor of an earthquake when the Emperor was assassinated by the Mandalorians. It was a victory in a way, but in the bigger scheme of politics, it had created a vacuum of power. It had not taken long for that vacuum to be sealed and the announcement that Arda now watched made that very clear. The face on the screen was a familiar one, she had seen him on the holonet before, but now he was taking the seat as Emperor and claiming the unification of the two Sith Empires.

The Jedi watched in silence, processing what that meant for her, for the Jedi and for the Galactic Alliance, but undoubtedly made everything feel a bit heavier. The fight against the Sith had not ceased with the death of the Emperor, the fight was just beginning, the unrest in the Force spoke of that much.

The holonet switched back to its regular program as the Moffs finished their chanting, the analyst from the holoreport agencies began to jump to assumptions about the new Emperor, declaring urgency yet dedication to their new Emperor. Arda let out a sigh and waved her fingers, the holoscreen switching off and the Jedi rolled up her sleeves, there was work to complete, the guidance of the Force would lead to her to what needed to be done.
