No one answering threads

Hi I am new to this site and I recently created a character last Sunday. Is it unusual for people to not comment on your thread even though you are trying to progress your character's story? Please anybody respond because I want to advance my character's story but I can't because no one is responding to my thread.

Hey there ghost, generally the best way to get a thread going is to create an interest thread first in an OOC section to get people offering to be involved. Making a training thread without coordinating first leads other people to believe you're waiting for someone to post, since they're not aware of your intentions. I'd suggest making a thread in this forum and tell people your current concept, and invite them to join you in your thread.
