Ferrus loses his footing...more on accident then on purpose...and falls to the ground, narrowly avoiding Necrosis' counterattacks. In the second it takes them to both realize what happens, Ferrus throws himself to the right, rolling away from Necrosis. He then slowly returns to his feet, dust and sand falling from his clothes.

"That's a nice attack. I bet I could duplicate it if you gave me a week."

Ferrus raises his free hand, and summons The Force. His body may be weak...but otherwise he was fine. Necrosis in-turn also feels his body begin to slow. Force Plague would take effect soon. Or so Ferrus hoped.

OOC: I have a question. Are both of your arms mechanical?

ooc: Fuck the arguing, you're just going to be a bitch about everything anyway. And only the left is mechanical, you can read all about it in my profile, unlike you because you never update your profile...

ic: Necrosis was getting tired of this shit, a small tinge of pain bothered him in his right side, but that was nothing compared to the pain he was about to give Ferrus. Without further adue as his opponent tried to plague his body Necrosis lashed out through the Force once more, unleashing a powerful blast of energy that would send his foe flying through the air if he did not focus his mind on stopping it, both ways, he would have to drop his concentration on the Force plague, giving Necrosis the time he needed.

The Sith Lord drew up his lightsaber once more, and raced forward to his prey, the sickly greenish light of the blade mirrioring his eyes at that moment as he fed upon the dark side, regenerating his body and mind enough to continue on at full force of his mightly power. He came as a fleeting blur upon Ferrus, gripping the hilt with both hands, and bringing it down in a backwards grip to plunge it into his heart with such speed and devastating force that not even at full strength could one hope to block this blow, nor move quick enough, or accidentally fall out of the way. The Sith Lord was just too quick, and too strong to hold back.

OOC: I sense much anger in you, young kurtsy. For the record, I only was wondering about your arms and didn't feel like going to find your profile. Nothing argumentive about it...it's just something good to know if we're dueling.

BIC: Ferrus feels the wave coming before it hits him. He knows this may be the end...but that won't stop him from trying. His force plague dissipates, and stops entirely. And Ferrus focus' his power inward. He is knocked off his feet, and begins flying backwards towards the edge of the cliff. This lessens the blow of Necrosis' blast, and Ferrus only catches most of it, not the full force. Most of it however is still enough, unfortunatly, to send Ferrus over the brink of the sheer drop in The 'Valley.

Down he falls...into darkness.

Necrosis frowned and ran to the edge, gripping his side as the pain slowly came back to him now. Breathing heavy he looked down off the cliff, reaching out through the Force for any sign of that pathetic fool. He wanted to kill him with his bare hands, feel the life leave him, not toss him off a cliff. If he felt a sign of life, he'd go after him, like the hungry beast for blood he truly was.

ooc: In other words, specify what happened.

ADMIN: I think I can specify what happened in three simple words:

"He's dead, Jim."

OOC: Er...not sure what "Jim" has to do with this.

BIC: Necrosis feels no significant lifesigns, it seems Darth Ferrus' life has been extinguished.

OOC: Wasn't really sure how to respond to that "in-character"... As far as "What Happened", I force pushed myself to send me over the edge. I thought that'd be better than a lightsaber to the gut.

Well, maybe you could have gone into more detail about how your character died? I dunno, what you had just seemed sorta vague to me. My bad, lol. I would have thought he meant more to you than a simple "He fell into darkness." one liner death.

OOC: "Jim", short for "James" which is the first name of Captain James T. Kirk.

Maybe it's a quote. Maybe somebody said "He's dead Jim!" in Star Trek. Hmm... That must be it. What a Trekkie :25:

It's one of the most quoted and well-known quotes in Star Trek.
