KORRIBAN

If the chronicles of a person's life could be written as a story, we would undeniably be at the prologue. The world has changed, better or worse, only those whose bones reside in the ground can dictate that. Life was glorious, but she had been trained for a reason, now it was time to fulfill those expectations.

"We're here". Alexandra spoke brightly to Alexis as she hoisted the duffel bag over her shoulder and exited the transport dropship. She had arranged for a speeder to carry them to their new quarters, remotely located just outside of the main residence quarters. "The homeworld of the Sith, these ancient worlds will provide plenty for us to do and accomplish. First, we need new sabers.."

A long campaign on road, arriving and settled took longer than anticipated. The hike into the mountains would be equally daunting, considering this heat took some time to getting used to. However difficult the journey was, upon reaching an elevated point of the summit, a wicked smile begin to grow over her lips. Their vantage point looked beyond the valleys, a surreal moment to mark the beginning of a new era.

She licked her luscious lips before turning to her sister,
"Ready?"

Korriban was an oddity. Both a relic, a frontier and the future. It was the future for Alex and Alexis. It was the key to their own nascent power, strong and yet dwarfed by the energy of the planet around them. It was the highest power of the universe laid bare in its truth, like this place had been sculpted of the Force by those who knew it better than anything else. And it was not togetherness, it was self interest, it was evolution, it was victory above all other objectives. It was the truth. It felt more like home than the boring, simple, everyday humdrum of Kuat.

Alexis hefted her knapsack, laden with enough clothes to get by, some cosmetics, and some survival necessities. She handed a canteen of water to her sister, not wanting her to get dehydrated after their trek and in the midst of it. She had two others that would provide them enough water to maintain proper nutrient levels before they hit their destination. She planned for eventualities like this so Alex didn't have to. Alex was great with ideas and oftentimes, Lexi was great with the details and making sure Alex’s plans were born to fruition. It's what made them unstoppable.

“Hells yes I'm ready!” Alexis responded brightly borrowing some of Lexa's outgoing example and not holding back a beaming smile from her. She wore a sleeveless shirt that exposed her arms and shoulders, letting them soak up that glorious sunlight in the perfect desert heat.
