Kyle waited in his office for the soldier, so he could start this soldier's training. He had personally meet this one when she wanted to join, and had taken her on her first mission. She had showed promise and a taste for blowing things up. Picking up her file from his desk his he flipped through the pages seeing if he could learn anything more about her. Leaning back in his chair he closed his eyes and placed the file on his desk, his head resting against the banner hanging on the wall. And so he waited for her entrance into his office so her training could start.

"Hello chief," a young Wroonian smiled as she poked her head in the doorway "Can I come in?" Her yellow eyes were filled with childish excitement at being called by the Midnight Man. He seemed like a superhero in her eyes, for unlike others here, her life was rather... sheltered. She lived on one world her whole life until recently when she went searching for the Midnigth Men. Maybe now was time to start her training. She was psyched.

Opening his eyes Kyle found Ayha's head poking into his office. Tucking her profile into his desk he responded with a smile, "You may." As Kyle waited for to walk in he stopped leaning back in his chair, started to speak, "Ayha are you ready to begin your training, after this there will be no turning back and everything your is for the Midnight Men.:

She entered and stood in front of her desk, listening. Ayha Jezerylia Trex took a moment to ponder this. Her young life would have a purpose. A turn for the better. She'd get to meet new people, travel, save worlds from corruption... sounded good to her.
"I'm ready, chief." she replied, grinning merrily, though her statement was as honest as honest could be. She just hoped that the training would be something she could handle.

"Okay good, you are ready." he replied, meanwhile using the keypad under his desk to open the stairwell to his own personal training room. Walking down into the darkness he expected the soldier to follow, coming into a new room, he turned the lights on, dimly lighting the room. It was a follow stocked room of armor and weapons. When the soldier entered the room, he said, "Deposit all your weapons in the container next to you. Then pick one rifle, one hand-to-hand combat weapon, and one other weapon of your choice."

Ayha followed, looking around. When she reached the bins where she was to deposit her weopans she just had to ask "Why can't I use my own?" It seemed a logical question to her. She was used to her own things, so why change? Ayha knew she was probably expected to faithfully follow every order from her new superior, but she had to ask. She wanted to know what she was doing and why.

Not shocked by the common question Kyle formulated the same cut and dry response he gave to all those who asked, "You must be able learn to fight with different weapons, also you can not always expect to always have your same weapons."

"Fair enough," Ayha shrugged, and carefully placed in the container her blaster, her combat gloves, her belt filled with who knows what and a stack of handmade grenades. She loved those grenades. "Well, let's see what our choices are." Ayha continued and turned to the bin with the new choices.
She plucked up a blaster rifle, a small whip-like weapon, since she couldn't handle swords at all, and a small pack of 5 grenades. Though they weren't her own, they were still her favorite of the three. "Alright chief, ready when you are."

Now moving into the actual training room Kyle replied to her, "We move to your training now." He noted the type of weapons the wroonian took, very different from Kyle's own style but he had confidence in what she could do with them. The training room was shaped like a square each of the areas for a different part of the soldier's training. Walking into a distinct part he sat down on a bench near the combat ring. He motioned for the soldier to stay in the ring. And before long an ASP droid walked into the ring with a vibrorapier. It was programmed specifically for fighting, and getting into its stance, it said in its cold metallic voice, "En Guard"

"Aw, aren't you cute," Ayha smirked at the robot, circling it as it circled to face her. In one quick, fluid the whip lashed out, wrapping around the droid's leg and as Ayha tugged, knocked it to the floor. Now droids are rather like turtle's when they're down. They have trouble getting up. And with that, Ayha threw a punch to its "head" and though it hurt her hand, it hurt the robot more as she shut down. "I should get myself one of these," the Wroonian smiled as she flicked the whip "They're handy."

Smiling Kyle saw her punch the droid, not exactly how he would have done it but still the thing de-activated. "That looked painful, you might not want to punch one of those again." he said, as three more ASP droids walked out into the arena, locking onto her with their signature "En Guard."

"I agree with your suggestion sir." Ayha nodded, shaking her hand as the three droids entered. "What, downing one wasn't enough?" she asked, trying to decide what the best course of action from here would be. Taking a defensive stance at the edge of the circle, she looked around. Maybe there was a switch or something to shut them all down? She didn't know but it was worth a shot. If not, she had a plan.

Seeing that this one was more observant this part of the training should be over very shortly. In the darkness out of the combat, the faint outline of the droid source/hive mind could be made out. The slow grinding of gears could barely be heard if you were not listening for it. Meanwhile the three droids advanced on the wroonian, all lunging in coordination one after another. Kyle chuckled a little, for as rebellious as this one was she had maintained the non-existent rule of staying inside the combat ring. It was funny how even though it was never said most soldiers implied it was there.

"Umm, I don't think so droids," She laughed and stepped back as they lunged, screwing up their coordination. Ayha had stepped out of the circle, but nothing seemed to have happened. She pulled up her blaster rifle and aimed a shot at the hive mind, which missed. She was not so good with guns. Not giving up, she fired once again and in a nice little explosion the hive mind died and the droids shut down. Keeping an eye on everything around her, she waited for what was next.

"Well that was quick." Kyle said impressed by the soldier's actions. Then starring at the machines that the droids came out of, Kyle saw them power down and then looked at exact same switch next to the machines that could power them down. Then proceeding along he moved to the ranged section of the room. It had barricades, and short walls littered all over it. Taking a seat next the arena, he beckoned for Ayha to take the seat next to him. Then he tossed her a datapad, "There are two parts to this" Kyle explained, "This part is you have a team of droids under your command, you may not help them you can only direct them. Your goal is to destroy the other five droids on the opposing team. Each of them has a certain skill use them wisely." And then the gates opened and both sets of droids rushed onto the field both teams going to their separate pre-determined points.

She sat on the bench beside the Midnight Man, yellow eyes surveying the room. "So destroy the other teams droids with my own. Got it." Ayha smiled, catching the datapad and watching the droids file in. She flipped it over in her hands to see what it said as she began walking towards the playing field.

Filling out each of the enemies five droids took a different spot of cover. The heavy trooper, started firing missiles at Ayha's droids, while the sniper waited for the barrage to end to start picking off her droids. Meanwhile the two light droids and the close combat droids started advancing. The datapad Kyle threw to Ayha was used to control the droids without entering the field.

Ayha felt bad not helping her troopers out in the battle, as she stood on the sidelines with the datapad, assessing the situation. If they failed, it would be all her fault. But she decided she would not fail.
Take cover from those missles, she punched in to her datapad, and the droids obeyed immediately. One light droid took some damage in the barrage, but the rest were all alright. She sent her close combat droid to fight its like and ordered the heavy trooper to blast the other teams cover to smithereens. As the heavy droid of her opponent became exposed and started firing, Ayha had her own sniper, who was safe behind a short wall, shoot its "head" and the heavy trooper erupted into sparks. "One down, 4 to go," Ayha smiled.

Seeing the close combat droid start fighting Ayha's the two light droids opened fire on it. Meanwhile the sniper droid monitored the enemies' movements fire a shot whenever it saw an opening.

"Oh no! Watch out!" Ayha exclaimed a moment to late as the light droids exploded her close combat droid. She began entering things into the datapad quickly as her heavy trooper kept destroying the other teams cover. The sniper droid sniped the light droid that killed her close combat droid and she sent one of her own light droids shooting after the other team's sniper droid, the other was told to shoot the close combat droid before it came close enough to do any harm. The light droid killed the close combat droid but itself got shot by the sniper, leaving only two droids for her to go after, four of her own droids left(one damaged) and her opponents barricades and walls almost completely diminished.
