New member- introducing myself

Hello there!
As you can see I’m ThunderousBaron, I only found this forum recently but ever since I did find it I’ve been super excited to get involved. (I’m currently thinking of a character) I’ve roleplayed many times over text before, however it was over platforms such as Discord, so I’m new to Forum Text Roleplay, if you’ve got any tips or such about Forum RP just let me know, I’d be happy to read it! I’m not an over-the-top starwars fanatic but I’ve done my fair share of lore delving and do love the universe enough to want to be apart of the amazing Roleplay that’s happening here.
That’s all from me however, good to meet you all and I hope that I can get into the Roleplay soon!

Also as you said you have done RP over discord, we have a discord server to which the link can be found on the directory on the home page. No RP there but we chat and make plans and such.

Welcome! I'm an old fart only recently returned after a 2+ year hiatus, so I definitely know the feeling of excitement you've got currently to jump in and get involved (or re-involved, in my case).

As you may be aware, there will be a new Timeline (aka storyline setting) beginning in December, I believe. I, for one, am taking the interim time to shore up a couple of character concepts and acquaint myself with the rule changes that have occurred in my absence.

If you have any general questions feel free to shoot me a PM - since I'm not in any threads currently and don't have to worry about posting, I've got plenty of time for messages. And since you and I are basically at the same level of understanding regarding some of the rules, I would be happy to help you figure it out together.

Again, welcome! I think you will find this can be a great community and the source of a lot of fun, so I wish you the best on your first steps into our weird little corner of the Internet.

On the upcoming timeline, you can either jump in now, or wait and begin brainstorming characters in Player Workshops, it just depend on how many posts you can cram in within the next few weeks.
