IMPERIAL INTELLIGENCE

News had spread that Darth Victress had assumed command over the Sphere of Military Offense as the newest Dark Councilor. She was an ambitious dark lord and would certainly utilize the military prowess of Imperial might to its full capacity. Imperial Intelligence had several satellite facilities, one of such harbored on Korriban and it was here that she had visited today unannounced. However, several meetings kept piling up through her datapad including one with an ambitious Imperial Agent wanting to create something more than that existed.

The Conference room was large, several tables, a massive holoprojector, and a massive singular conference table that could seat close to 50. Security would be tight given the recent circumstances, as all personnel had to be scanned and pat down prior to entrance into the guarded facility. Anything but a service blaster would be spotted and confiscated. Even the Dark Council were suspect to search though rules in their favor were far more relaxed. Gideon would have been summoned to a centralized Imperial Agent meeting that was held earlier, but given the circumstances of his assignment, a more independent rendezvous would be necessary.

The Darth was standing in the edge of the room, overlooking the views of fighting pits far below through massive windows. Doors would slide open, permitting the agent entry into the chamber.

Gideon Hask-Starr was not used to travelling to such places, his assignments normally keeping him busy in what had once been known as the 'Old Empire', the academies and front lines of the war keeping him far from such places indeed. However, his request had gone up the chain, and those at the top tended only to meet on their terms, and on their turf. If the emperor and his associates, darths and otherwise, required the safety of rock and metal to feel ensconced, then so be it.

He cared little either way, as he poured over the information he had gathered together for the day ahead, ignoring the towers the steepled his into the heavens above, as his ED-3 Stargull made its way toward the meeting zone. He spared no attention to the cityscape, focusing on ensuring he had his facts and figures straight ahead of his meeting with one of the empires leading figures, a Sith by the moniker of 'Darth Victress'.

"Shujiyio saiyir tuti zo snaâ drakia diyina na doroti. Sis Tsis saiyir muru tsari ri dniya an idnizi ki an iritsimizi ir kaia ki hibarizaiw an diwiji ri durmnoja iw sis kinima'ija." he remarked to his bibliomech, who had been busy at work assisting him with the preperations for his 'pitch'. "Ra la liser shi kyr'amur gar nimatayu'anr jatne vod" it chirped back.

Hask smiled. He had programmed the droid to speak the mandalorian langauge, as a way of keeping his own skills in that area as sharp as possible, some years ago. "Sai ikûn hatsi diri zo karw ant ri warmursi waria oi nindz?" Hask replied, rhetorically as he stood, feeling his ship touching down. With his uniform one, military cap and all - a pugio pistol, knife and datapad at his belt, he cut the very image of an imperial officer. Heading the top of the disembarkation ramp, he waved away his bibliomech saying "Not this time buddy." in basic, rather than his more traditional high sith tongue, and headed down the ramp proper, approaching security to present his credentials, before being escorted through to the meeting venue itself.

Stepping inside, he proceeded to walk up to her, and standing some six feet away, he spoke clearly in the high sith language at first "Tsitira Victress Nu wowuti?" he began, realising that she may not have fluency in the language, he spoke again in basic "Darth Victress?"

The dark lord was well aware of the Agent's presence long before he came close to her, a chilling aura that she emanated which plunged the room into a colder abyss while lights momentarily flickered and dimmed. She was dressed in her customary Black Hades armor, a durasteel helm covering her face and rendering the Darth a fear inspiring sight. Eyes shifted from green to yellow as sinister energies wrapped around her constantly when she turned slightly to face the Imperial officer. Tendrils of force would slowly curl around his being, allowing her to sense inflections in voice as well as changes in emotion or judgment. It was a vile and corrupted power, to prod into the thoughts of others but something which most of the Dark Lords all utilized.

They were all suspicious, it was the precarious position the Empire found itself in; if he was here to gain her approval, she may provide it given the conversation at hand. However, deception would most certainly be difficult and the repercussions severe if he chose to betray the Empire in favor of an unsavory foreigner. The Darth was a suspicious and cautious woman, despite their civil conversation, she would maintain her guard. Her piercing yellow gaze bore into him as he spoke, replying. "Agent Starr, you had a most unusual request. What may I help you with?"

Her responce was an unusual one, but then again in Gideons experience, most of the mannerisms of the force-sensitive population was verging on the bizzare. "A âtiari inams iw ridis Tsitira Victress? Nu waria nindz satruri sosûtirmohtidi ri imicsi iw kitok tsimsima ir zo tsakwa iw kinima'ija an tuti dosiki ra." he reponded calmly in high sith, seeking to bring back the flow of conversation to his direction. "Its zo mnirji mikn saiyir ziji ri Aiuso tuti nindz dzitki sis kinima'ija. Tsiyis, ant ri dirja iw tsiyiâ zûtayasmu'aza kitok kinisits nayir tuti durijati, diâ ar ri nayasa wa tuti driyinurus, manqikma tsoâ."

Looking up to face her, the young Imperial was keen to ensure that Darth Victress was in fact the sort of visionary he needed to sponsor this undertaking, otherwise he would need to hasten the end of this discussion, and find another source of support from someone, or something, else. "Kam Nu tuti sosûtuwuri tuti a tutito- ri- dihasa énizasatsa diâ watsiyini qyâsik dzana, ri nasina Nu tqi ati ir zûtadtoi. Kad iroi, dari j'us ziji ri adata dzis tsiyiâ a organisation, ao, tuti Nu driuni an ri zûtawtiyi satrura?" he cut to the chase, keen to hear what she had to say in return.

The dark lord looked at him for a moment, internally it seemed that she had grown a bit surprised, first the Emperor wishing to speak about alternate tactics and now those views had trickled down the chain of command. Regardless, she allowed him to finish speaking and took a few long moments of narrowly gazing at him through the slits of her helmet before she said, "The Empire has forged its legacy on Rule of the Strong. We have never shy away from crushing our enemies with use of our superior Imperial might.." She paused, and moved to the side, heading towards the large holoprojector screen in the room.

A flick of a button and she pulled up a blank galactic atlas, touching the screen to highlight certain valuable planets. "However, adaptation can be utilized when necessary. You have come to the right place, Agent Starr." She folded her arms across her chest as she she spoke again. "Very well, what is that you would like to accomplish?"

Refreshingly, Gideon noted, the Darth was not as aloof and backward as some of the other members of the Imperial upper-class. An open mind was pliable after all, and Gideon considered himself something of a craftsmen. Hiding behind her helmet, it was hard for him to guage how Victress was really reacting to his words - however the choice to hide her face behind a patina of durasplast spoke volumes in itself. "Antai ru tuti wisa anas nyâsh zûtaikima drakazi tsikas shiyi antai?" Gideon remarked, more to see what reaction he would get that for the need of the observation.

He observed the planets that flashed up, making a record of what appeared - it was a valuable insight into what Darth Victress considered to be of value - and then spoke again "Zo shatajia tutai saiyir tuti kakdijs yikicni, diâ Nu shiyi iunoks âtiari ir ziji ri Nuka dursosûtoi sas ri tzirji Andraste didisi na tsiyiâ kakdijs sas tsioâ tsiyiâ dias ri Dziyimandokas diâ ri âtiniza." he continued moving onto what he wished to accomplish, as he considered he thoughts carefully, and his words more carefully still.

"Nu natita an snaroki kam ri Kirjis shiyi mirmohtusi an dari oim kaj. Mis ra saiyir misini is ri Dziyimandokas, ani rukdta, diâ an tuti adtirmi, ani ratsatsa, tuti zûtawtumriki wirioi. Ir amohtsawsi sis dyakamis," he avoided saying the word 'weakness' and pressed on "Mis nayir imdniji dzok ri ana dzis kitok kasûja. Niyiji, ri Dziyimandokas waria tina- ani tuti iunoks wir us zo kimri diâ kimria iw tars diâ tars, iroa woi wo dujomi. Kots anim dzok, turia anim driait wo aniyiâ, diâ ri Nuka iw Dits ani shiyi dursosûtoi, tqi intasyasri karw." he finished.

Falling silent, he waited for the Darth to reply.

Arianna had to respect the male for his directness as well as the willingness to criticize Imperial strength in front of the new Councilor of Military Offense. However, a simple demonstration was necessary, after all, she couldn't allow a simple agent to simply run his mouth without a proper lashing, albeit small. And so as he finished his condescending remark, he would feel a tendril of force wrap around his throat and issue forth a choking collapse of his trachea. The Darth glared at him during this, gesturing with her left hand as she molded the force to grip around the agent and said, "Be careful to not believe wholeheartedly what you see Agent Starr...for your eyes shall deceive you.."

Releasing the choke, she shifted partially towards the planets and allowed him to continue speaking his phrase and explaining his primary objective. She turned once more to look at him, a single finger resting underneath her chin as she agonized the silence for several lingering moments before replying. "Very well...I approve. How soon before you can begin implementing this operation?" She asked.

Gideon caught his breath as the force choke came to an end, and stood straight once more. He was not about to be made the play thing for an emotion addled Sith, who had risen to power by virtue of being in the right place, at the right time. Speaking to Victress, he kept his voice calm and emotionless as he said "Ri miwohmawisosûtu'ira dzis sis dranas muin sia ri awatia an ziji drosar ri donwa iw sis Aiuso tnoa kasûja, diâ ri sosûtudorju'ia an kioska woi ani sawas niriai ir ri uditsia oi tsosûtaiyi oim kaj ir, war doryasaha an tsiyiâ romra iw dyktis."

He stood around six feet away from her, as she 'granted' him permission to continue with a project she still did not know the details of, and he shook his head "Nu shiyi ra âtiari ir sdrisosûti na kakijiza. Nu waria tsosûtaiyi ki ncirnitimi aninumu. Muri- Diyina Tsitira Victress." he paused, waited a few seconds, and left the room.

Was the Darth incorrectly justified in making a point to the agent? Perhaps, it was certainly a debatable position. However, as for anyone in this position, you made your decisions and you stuck by them. If there was anything worse than incorrect judgment, it was the lack of surety and decisiveness. She had grown tired of this nonsense, the upfront utilization of tactics for the sole purpose that others believed the Empire was losing this war. Such fallacies were myths, and the dark lord wholeheartedly believe that in due time, Imperial might would crush all opposition, regardless of unconventional means of warfare.

Regardless, she acknowledged as he withdrew his initial inquiry, "You are entitled to your opinion Agent Starr. I wish you good fortune in your aspirations.."
