Ners Ordo

Biography

Born to a Mandalorian Family on the homeworld of his people, the Planet 'Mandalor', Ners became part of the Clan Ordo and was expected to participate in the ways of the clan from a young age. Trained in combat as a child, as all Mandalorians of his clan are; he soon was able to fend for himself and moved rapidly into the world of mercenary life. Moving with his parents, and their fellow soldiers of fortune, to the distant world of Corellia in the Core he took part in numerous raids alongside the local authority 'CorSec' to protect innocents and more importantly, to solidify the authority and power of the Corellian Government.

Soon after his sixteenth birthday, the young Ners was once again on the move, this time to the Hutt Planet of Nar Shaddaa; a moon in the heart of Hutt Space. After several engagements, their Hutt contractor made the decision that he wanted to see the Mandalorians kept on 'permanent retainer', and drugged the company forcing them into slavery upon their awakening. Over the next five years, his parents and fellow company men were subjected to a relentless regime of gladiatorial combat, from which only Ners survived; by chance more than from skill, with his Hutt paymaster running out of money before the fight that would have sealed his fate.

Naturally, as is the way of the Hutts, his owners assets (including him) quickly found themselves absorbed by another Family, the infamous and much maligned Besadii Clan. Seeing an advantage, and never one to turn an opportunity down, the young Mandalorian struck his chains, and ensured he was one of the first people his new Hutt Master would see. Staging an attempted assassination attempt using a reprogrammed droid, Ners 'saved' his new master from 'certain death', and was rewarded amply - freed from his slavery and allowed to chose a career of his own making, in so long as it worked to profit his masters.

Despite his future career, the young Ners started out as a Swoop Racer; earning his dues in the arena of high speed, and incredibly dangerous racing. Outfitted with his own Swoop, he earned respect on the Race Tracks, winning race after race, and earning his master a small fortune. After almost three years (above the average expected for people in his profession) he was subjected to a significant injury which took him out of racing for nearly three months. Not willing to carry the man as a burden of loss for such a long period of time (for the racing game), he was rapidly dismissed from the service of his master, with nothing more than the clothes on his back, and a hearty booming laugh ringing in his ears.

Left with only the skills he had picked up from his youth, and those he had developed as part of his service to the Hutts, Ners took up the only profession for which he was ready; a life of Bounty Hunting. Without a ship to call his own, and without any other form of skills, it was the ideal job for him. Breaking into the dungeons of his former master, and taking a set of weapons and armor for himself, he stole away on the next available ship off-world, and headed to the outer-rim proper, purchasing with what little credits he had, a Bounty Hunting licence, as he stepped foot on the path to fame and fortune.

Of course, his former employer was hardly going to let his theft go unpunished and set a Bounty of 100,000.00 Credits on his head - offering an extra 50% of they brought him back alive for the Hutts enjoyment. Aware of this price on his head, Ners resolved that he would study their methods, and learn their ways; for such a high price was sure to attract some of the best in the field of Bounty Hunting. Watching the way they sourced information through the Holonet and Space Port records to trace him from world to world, Ners quickly learned to mask and fake his actual movements, so as to increase his chances of survival, but also to allow him to monitor the ways of his hunters.

It did not take long for him to eventually draw up a veritable wealth of information of Bounty Hunting techniques, and soon learned the finer arts of tracking and tracing quarry, through networks of informants, slicers and data brokers. Disposing of his own Hunters in a carefully orchestrated ambush, he quickly adapted his style to be less of a 'Run-and-Gun' approach, and more tactical and informed. Developing and fostering his own network on informants across the Outer-Rim and Inner-Rims Undercities, he developed a reputation over his first ten successful bounties for his expert approach in tracing and finally eliminating his enemies.

For almost a decade he worked for the Republic Bounty Hunters Guild, and took contracts with the Sith and Mandalorians, developing and nurturing his skills, tracking methods and informants network. Priding himself on the hunt itself, not just the 'execution', he bacame famed in certain circles for his wealth of information; and for his professional approach when it came to dealing with clients. Never one to shirk away from a Job, or to pin his banner to a mast; Ners took work from anyone, and for anyone, never double crossing a client - making him a highly useful tool in an untrusting Galaxy.

Equipment & Assets

Standard Armor
Ordos standard armor, a suit of which he is almost never seen without, is a suit of Rim Scount Armour.

Standard Weapons
Like all contract killers, Ordo makes use of a set of standard issue weapons; and by standard issue, we mean 'weapons he always has on his persons'. Whilst he is known to make use of other weapons, is standards are as follows. As such he is often seen with two SA-21's which he keeps in easy draw holsters. Alongside this, he is known to make us of two D-15p Blaster Pistols, in case of an extended firefight, often mounted on the back of his belt. Coupled with his love of grenades, ranging from basic frag grenades (which he stores in a bandoleer alongside others), to SCKO, Firespray and EMP Grenades, he carries just what he needs to get the job done. Additionally, he carries two boot knives and (in back scabbards), two Vibro-Blades.

Miscellaneous Items
Alongside his weapons and armour, he makes use of a utility belt containing basic medical and engineering supplies, in addition to ration packs and a grapple rope. Ordo has yet to acquire a ship of his own, although he does make use of a speeder bike for ground-based pursuits.

Informants

One of Ners' crowning achievements is his informants network, a collection of people who either owe him favours, or exchange information in return for credits or services. The identity of these informants is not public, and only Ners is fully aware of the extent of his network.

You have entirely too many unapproved features slapped on to that armor. The limit for medium is three functions. You've got... ten, of which two are all but banned. More depending on how many spectrums the goggles show.

You'll need to fix that.

And this is what happens when I fail to check the Tech Board fully before posting a character. Features removed :)
