Need character help.

Gender: Male
Faction: Either Jedi or Sith
Force sensitive: Yes

So I was thinking about guy today after flipping through the approved species list and seeing Bith and i thought that I could make him but I don't have many ideas for a Bith force user. So could someone please help me with back ground and choosing a side. I can go
either way on it or even if someone made a good enough case I
would even join their faction.
So far I feel that he is strong willed an very athletic. He is. Also about average height at 5'5", socky built, and has yellow skin. I have also picked his light saber to be either silver or white.

lightsaber color isn't a personality trait. But it it's important to you it be that color, great: How did they get such an insanely rare crystal? Did they find it? If so, why did this character go so far out of their way to get such a thing? OR Did someone give it to them? Why? OR Did they kill someone and take it? How do they feel about that?

He also is strong willed because is an ex slave and he disided to choose who to follow. His motivation is unclear to me right now and there is not too much about Canon Bith culture on the wiki.

OK than I think he was a scientist and engineer for his owner.In his spare time he likes to play music, meditate, study history and technology, and practice light saber forms and the force. so he is now intellectual and strong, but not not the strongest or the smartest being in the galaxy. he would be able to score genius on an IQ test or equivalent form of testing that they have in star wars, and he is able to bench 1.5 times his weight equaling a total 225 lbs (102 kg). so he has trained and studied very well.

He definitely sounds more like a Jedi to me. If he hates the idea of slavery the Sith probably isn't the best direction to go into, because I'm pretty sure they encourage slaving and/or don't care about it.

He also doesn't exactly sound dark enough to be a Sith.

so far this is what i have for his appearance.
Gomir is an average sized sized adult Bith male of a muscular build. He stands at 5’5” and weighs 150 lbs. Bomir also has yellow skin and the normal big black eyes. He has several scars across his back and one on his right eye. He even has an identification tattoo on his left pec.
Gomir normally wears a white variant to traditional Jedi clothing.
