What are we using as a base for procedural rules and whatnot? I might be willing to do it, but for matters such as this where Star Wars canon provides limited examples of what to expect, I tend to draw on RL to fill the gaps.

That's kinda vague. We talking American rules of criminal procedure? UCMJ? A European-style criminal justice system? Singapore?

As far as the crash course goes, knowing what kind of system to base my actions go becomes especially relevant when ruling upon objections and whatnot. I'd like something to base "This piece of evidence is allowed" and "this evidence isn't" upon--and that will be different depending upon what kind of system we're using.

i don't think trell has made up his mind yet, but it looks like he is looking at the threads now. We still need witnesses and media NPCs to make this real.

depends on the judge and the jury. Notice how Roger's not really saying anything. BTW, that trial was B.S. she was ****ing Jose Baez.

lol, so do you think you could be the jury since Trell is the judge now?

So despite evidence and everyone knowing he did it. He is still going to walk free?
There wasn't "evidence" besides he said/she said. It was a defense lawyer's worst nightmare, the jury wasn't presented enough evidence to prosecute her beyond a reasonable doubt. For example: if I told you that somebody took my pencil but that person didn't have a pencil, he wouldn't be arrested on those charges.

it's out of our hands.

The jury's the easy part. The jury doesn't have to learn the Rules of Evidence in minute detail. If the jury screws this up, it's all Trell's fault. :CSly
