Myla Lessi is a green-skinned Mirialan born on the planet Mirial in 33 BBY. She has a line of diamond tattoos across her face. She studies two forms of lightsaber fighting: Form III (Soresu), Form II (Makashi), and Jar'Kai.
Soon after her birth, she was taken into the Old Jedi Order, and when the Clone Wars began, she was deployed to the front lines. During the Battle of Jabiim (late 21 BBY), she and her Master were deployed to the planet. During the fighting, an explosion killed her master and wounded Myla, resulting in her capture by the Confederacy. Imprisoned in a carbonite block, she was taken on board a Confederate transport to be sent to Count Dooku, but en route, the transport was attacked by three ARC-170s of the Republic and crash-landed on Lothal.
Many years later, the carbonite block she was in malfunctioned and released her. After stumbling around in hibernation sickness, she was found by a group of farmers who helped her. When Myla said that she was a Jedi and had to return to the Order, the farmers, assuming her earlier mumbling about Jabiim was a result of her sickness, sent her on her way in an old Rebellion-era BTL-B Y-Wing.
She flew off towards Coruscant with her equipment, which the farmers had recovered from the wreck. However, on arrival, she saw the damage to the former city planet and, in despair, landed at a small fueling station and re-equipped her fighter. During this stay, she finally learned that she had been in the block for upwards of a hundred years instead of the days or weeks she had originally thought. This sent the already-fragile Padawan into a small mental breakdown, but after about a month, she recovered and went out again to find the location of the new Jedi. She eventually found them and rejoined, being placed at the rank of Padawan as she had been before her imprisonment. While investigating some illegal activities, Myla found her old Delta-7 starfighter and sold her BTL-B to purchase, fix, and equip it.

Seperated from her parents well before she was able to know them, Myla was very shy when she joined the Old Jedi Order. She was wounded twice before her eventual capture during the Clone Wars and saw more than her fair share of violence before she was even fifteen, which made her nervousness and poor communication skills worse. The only thing that she feels confident doing is healing people, which she takes as a way to help those who are hurt that is granted by the Force since she is incapable of healing her own depression and anxiety. She had, and still often has, nightmares about the war, and such traumatizing scenes are in great supply for her since she was deployed as a field medic on Jabiim, one of the bloodiest battles of the Clone Wars. Since her release from the carbonite, the realization of all that has transpired during her time frozen has caused even more emotional damage. Because of this, Myla has become very withdrawn and rarely allows herself company for fear of losing a friend, but in truth, this hurts just as much as it helps. In addition, Myla has a distinct stutter that becomes more pronounced when she is nervous.
