First. I need a hug. Really badly.
For the last hour, I have been sifting through old forums and wikis that I both contributed to and managed for over 4 years, but I had stopped suddenly. And on those forums and wikis I found a list of my old friends who I had laughed and fought with for a long time, and I scrolled through each one and thought about them, our past and what might have happened since I left. (Some of them are still active so I sent them a short message, awaiting a reply).
Take one, for instance, his alias is Fr. For many years we played games together, he did art and helped moderate the server, and I wrote long posts about topics no one cared about and reported players. We had so much fun, but all of a sudden I just left them. Without any warning. I just feel so bad and need a big hug because I know that I can't get those experiences back, no matter how hard I try.
Life lesson: Cherish every moment because you may never get another one like it.
