My character dilemma

I'm currently going through a dilemma concerning my new character. He is a Sacred Band member, and as such his presence means that if I used him in RP I would officially change factions. I know I would not be able to use my old Sith characters anymore and they would be immediately archived per faction rules. At first, I was okay with this when I was making Ve'kas'siir. Now I am not so sure. As soon as I finished making his profile I looked back at the Sith profiles of Vlatkat and Rashkavel and began questioning my decision. I really like both and I'm not so sure I want to be done with them anymore. On the flip side, I also put a lot of work into getting Ve'kas'siirs profile finished over vacation, and I do really like the character as well. I'm just not sure if I would like to have him as my main in the long run. He's very different from anything I've ever done, and I made him that way on purpose. I wanted to put him in the Sacred Band because it looks a bit like its lagging in terms of membership and I wanted to add where it was needed for the sake of the faction. I wish I could do both.

My dilemma is whether I should keep Ve'kas'siir as a Sacred Band member and just suck it up and commit to a new faction, or retool him as an Indie faction member so that I can still use my original Sith characters.

The sacred band and the sith are the same faction. You can have one of your sith and your sbz while making one sith an indie or archiving it if you want.

So there isn't any rule stating I can't keep all 3?

Nope.

Just one of your Sith will have to go Indie as you can't have more than two characters in the same faction at a time.

Which of two characters seem the most compelling, and which of the three seems best as a main character to you guys?

Personally I like Vlatkat & Ve'kas'siir but ultimately the choice is your's which do you feel you could bring to life best?

Well, the Sith are finally going no to be invading Dathomir, and they are looking for people who are good sorcerers or have magic as a huge part of their character, which Rashkavel is a huge magic person. So now I'm wondering if I should do a mission for Dathomir with Rashkavel amd then archive him.

Could be a good out for him,

If we win he could become an NPC overseer type character retire from front line work to focus on the wibbly wobbly magic stuff

If we lose he can go out with a bang
