Hey, Rico, I don't mean to be a downer, but there's a couple of things I need to point out.
First, I'm not sure if its because you're writing your posts in a notepad application or something and then copying it over, but the format of your posts is making them very hard to read. Traditionally, you're supposed to create a clean paragraph break after someone finishes talking.
Instead of:
It should be something akin to:
That simple rule really cleans up your writing and immediately we know who is saying what and what everyone is doing. I just wanted to point that out.
Second... this...
... consists of three separate accounts of auto-hitting. According to the rules, you're not allowed to call an attack and detail the result of the attack. How well Yeisha's stunt works should be up to me and Mr. Rawhead should be able to decide whether his guy actually gets tackled or not.
Again, I'm not trying to tear you down or anything. I'm just trying to help out a bit.

Sorry for all the mistakes, my last post was a bit rushed, will clean up if i have to later. note that i AM doing fair coinflips for the backfire possibilities of the force lightning please.

wow, two on one. >.< not very fair.
Note: i'll say one thing about Alpha, just to explain its actions. My character makes custom software, and it stands to reason that bots in videogames can make those kinda shots 'now' as AI as well as targetting systems like the thor. so a droid in the far future can do what it did no problem. just move and shoot.

And I'm calling massive godmodding at worst, massive auto-hit at best. <_<
As per the rules, I am going to ignore these auto-hits when I make my next post. Some of the attacks will still hit, I'm not going to say that they aren't, but I'm not going to put up with these kinds of shenanigans for the long term either.
EDIT: Okay, I'm just going to call it quits here. I'm writing Alya out of this thread, I ask that you all at least honor that and let her leave unhindered.

Hey, i was only trying to stress how difficult a long range sniper was to detect and hit. Sorry if it came across otherwise, but i never realised popping off dime a dozen storm troopers were any different than popping off combat droids. they're not your character, so i doubt it's really considered an 'auto hit' persay.
Although, i will go back and edit if need be, if you wanna write your character out of the thread then so be it, tactical retreat or whatever. But i don't think godmodding, unless they're like an NPC jedi master (which i have yet to see) really extends to NPC's as per the rules of the site.

Okay back on my account Nites going to be pissed off because now everyones going to think im his alt or something like that (I’m not I just know him IRL as he's the one who told me about this place). Okay So basically what I’m trying to say is that while Rico did use some auto hitting he is clearly still learning and was apologetic about it and neither I nor Nite actually threw any auto hits in that thread just attacks that were REALLY difficult to dodge for a normal human. The attacks were not actually described as hitting the target the posts merely stated the intended outcome and why they were so incredibly hard to dodge. Most rps I have been in NPCs have been rather neutral territory as far as killing off goes but still I did not auto hit and say they just burned up. I merely said the attack was going for them and what the intended and likely outcome if nothing happened to save them was. Also I’m pretty sure the average survival rate for regular soldiers in a world filled with hyper advanced robots and people who can control mystic energy is pretty low on average. Funnily enough my characters backstory involves him being angry at how sith lords throw their troops into the meat grinder against things that they just can't handle.

Okay, that snap post was a little too snap, let me explain further.
(1) I've come to the conclusion that Alya was a poor fit for this thread in the first place. I initially joined because this was the only thread open and so I tried to force a fit. That was a bad move on my part as now Alya's in three threads with PCs that can't get along which is getting old fast. Since this thread is the least likely to be resolved peacefully, I decided to bow out.
(2) Nick, I have no problem with your post. It was a fair move and I didn't even see your post there when I first posted here. The force lightning move, in light of Rico's context, and Tommy's OoC comments led me to read his post as the lightning being unavoidable. Evidently I'm misreading it, given said preconceived context, and so I apologize.
Bottom line: I'm not pleased with my performance thus far and don't see Alya helping this RP at all, that is what led me to withdraw.
Please pardon any strange spellings. Auto Correct is being a pain.
