DESCRIPTION
These ships were able to field enough starfighters and bombers to be a significant threat to all but the highest classifications of ships, though they are vulnerable when performing offensive operations on their own.

As part of a fleet or task group however, the Gemini-Class Carrier shines as a ship capable of providing support to all of it's comrades at a moment's notice. Equally, it is useful in system defence as it is able to deploy it's starfighters and bombers into the atmosphere to provide air-superiority.

LEGALITY
Restricted. Gemini-Class carriers are classified as capital warships, and thus are illegal for private ownership. These vessels are also restricted to the naval forces of the Republic and it's member systems.

INTENT
To give the Republic a Military-Standard carrier that would have been a holdover from the Hundred Years Darkness, making it a staple of the Republic Navy.

ADVANCED TECH
YES. A capital ship used exclusively by the Republic Naval Forces and some Planetary Defence Fleets within the Republic, this is both restricted and advanced technology. Plots will be required to acquire.

This is a significant improvement/departure from the capabilities of any existing tech this TL, and so would have to be developed in a faction plot. Unarmed carriers already exist (though with a significantly smaller capacity), and the capacity here would probably have to be greatly reduced to be more in line. Most fighters are carried by frigates and cruisers at this time.

I can rewrite it so it needs to be developed. What are you thinking for actual carrying cap? I put it at 100 just because it basically looks like a flying runway lol. The goal here is for it to be nothing more than a carrier, meant to transport a lot of fighters into combat. So any help on how to edit it to reflect it would be helpful :)

If you wanted to do something like the Rhincodon carrier but with guns, that would be acceptable as heavily restricted faction tech. Any highly significant improvements beyond a basic armament would need development though. It should also be relabeled as a cruiser at its current size, or a large frigate if you downsize it to match the Rhincodon.

Ok, what about removing the guns and making it strictly a carrier that relies on fighters for support? So that all of it is used for storage for fighters? Only reason I say this is because I don't want to downsize. Also I'm assuming you're wanting something like half the cap of fighters? I'm okay with that I'm just wanting to clarify is all, not trying to sound disrespectful or anything in just asking :)
