Intent: To create an effective repeating blaster rifle for use by those who don't find themselves fond of what we already have on the site.
Model: MS-1050 Repeating Blaster Rifle
Type: Repeating Blaster Rifle
Size: A heavy long rifle / bipod mounted blaster.
Composition: Wood or Carbon Fiber (stock), Durasteel (Trigger mechanism and parts of receiver assembly), Dallorian Alloy (Barrel and most of receiver assembly), Rubber (bipod ends and buttplate of stock).
Range: 150 meters optimum, 300 meters maximum.
Ammunition Capacity: 40 shots (standard power pack), 200 (backpack power pack).
Description: Designed by Donomel Heavy Manufacturing as a more modern variant of the old T-21 Repeating Blaster, the MS-1050 Repeating Blaster Rifle is one of the toughest, most powerful weapons that can be used by a single operator on the market today. With a rugged, dependable design, and enough power to punch through most personal armor - as well as take out most light land vehicles, like landspeeders and speeder bikes - the MS-1050 is useful in a variety of situations.
With a dallorian alloy system, the rifle doesn't suffer the problems from overheating at a high firing rate that the old T-21 would have, and the newly designed power packs don't suffer that problem either - so the maximum firing rate of this rifle increases from just one round per second to four hundred eighty rounds per minute. While accuracy suffers at sustained high fire, it is quite useful for area suppression - even with the smaller standard power pack.
The weapon has a detachable bipod assembly, allowing it to be fired from a slightly more stable position, and can also be mounted onto a tripod for the most stability. However, it is often used simply as a rifle, and due to its fire selection system (semi-automatic or fully automatic), can be used well as one...However, it is a large weapon, and could tire an operator out quickly if they aren't used to using it that way.
The sights are normally set at a 150 meter range, although the sights can range all the way from one hundred meters to three hundred meters, and a scope can be attached as well, though the weapon doesn't come with one. The weapon's effectiveness generally caps out at 150 meters, for beyond that the accuracy and power of the rounds starts to suffer, and three hundred meters is the maximum range at which the weapon can be used - generally only to scare somebody, not necessarily as an actual weapon (unless you're unbelievably lucky).
Primarily used as an anti-personnel small arm, the MS-1050 is useful against personal armor and lightly armored vehicles, like most speeder bikes, swoop bikes, and landspeeders, and is often used in defensive installations for that very purpose...or mounted onto those vehicles. However, it's primary application was meant to be in the hands of a single operator, and that is still how it is most often used amongst various military and paramilitary groups among the galaxy.

Not particularly sure if this needed a write-up or not, because after working through it I started to feel like I was just making something generic. Probably forgot some thing or another I wanted to add in there that would make it more unique, who knows. At least it'll have a name, right?
