Siris' eyes widen as he tried to raise his hand in defense to the pillow but it slipped by, thwacking him straight in the face wich both amused him and Elix. He seemed to be a completely changed man now from what he was, smiling and laughing like it was second nature. In truth, he was just truly happy for the first time in a long time and it seemed like things were finally going his way and what he wanted. It what his whole family wanted, having taken the mantle put a strain on them that was evident in the past. It all but seemed wiped clear now and it rose Siris to a new elation he never experienced before. It wasn't hard to notice Alais' smile either and it filled him with joy to see his wife break free from her dark cloud and look healthy.

Siris heard Alais complain about the balance of power on this scale and he knew he was winning by a landslide at this point. He secured his victory when she lunged forward to tickle him, Elix practically helpless and forced to suffer in Siris' hands. With his cry for help, Siris chuckled and was about to swoop in before Alais took him out of his hands and sent him up with the force. While he spun Elix couldn't but help but laugh uncontrollably, having the time of his life, "Mommy this isn't fair now!" Even with his complaint, Elix didn't mind at all what was happening and just enjoying being in the air. Siris watched all of this from his propped position unable to hide the grin on his face before looking over to his wife as she tried to one-up him on the argument.

He arched his eyebrow at her sly look while she scooted closer to him with no more obstacles between them. Before she could do anything he shot his arm around her waist, pulling her in tight against his figure and having their bodies mingle together. Siris let out a soft chuckle before kissing her on the nose, "Too bad, it's universal that stupid swords are cooler. You can't win this argument honey." Siris then leaned into her ear, his breath hitting against her skin so only she could hear, "Besides, I think we can both agree my sword is rather effective against you." He waited for her to challenge to his move now, giving his own sly look to her before planting a quick but hungry kiss on her lips.

Elix above them outstretched his arms to Alais,
"Mommy, when can I lift things up like you?" He started flapping his arms, showing all resistance to break out of this bubble and return to the battle on the ground. Siris eventually gave his aid, gently floating Elix down onto the bed so he was sitting next to them. He immediately launched himself at Alais, hugging his arms around her neck and trying to force her down on the bed with him. Siris laughed softly at the sight, "He may be even more fierce than Mamma Grizz."

Andraste smiled as she was pulled closer to Siris, leaning against his shoulder and watching their son floating around in the air. She had to chuckle at his complaints about fairness, his arms flailing everywhere as he was spun around. Andraste almost lost her focus on Elix, her eyes widening at Siris’ words. Her face went red and she elbowed him in the ribs, “Only because I let the sword near me, like I was saying earlier,” She shook her head, definitely glad that Elix was too little to understand the double meaning. She was about to lecture Siris when he leaned in to kiss her. She returned it, spinning Elix around to face the other way before he could whine.

Andraste slowly turned Elix back around, watching him flapping his arms. The sight caused her to laugh out loud before Siris floated him over and gently plopped him down near them. Elix launched himself at her, and she wrapped her arms around him. Andraste didn’t hesitate to plant a series of kisses on his face, ignoring his whining and protests. She pulled back and looked at him as he asked about lifting things with the Force, “Soon. You can already move things, can’t you? Have you shown daddy yet?”

One of the most painful things about Siris being gone was the fact that he often missed key milestones. Elix excitedly moved back and left the room for a moment. He came back with a few small action figures and placed them on the bed, “Daddy watch!” He stared at the figures for a long moment, having the most adorable look of pure concentration on his face. His tongue was poking out and his face was starting to turn red. For a moment, nothing happened. However, after a while, the figures began to move, slowly sliding across the surface of the bed. Elix grinned widely and the figures all shot out and crashed into the opposite wall, clearly out of his control. He stared with wide eyes, “Oops!!”

Andraste clapped proudly, “Good work!” She glanced over at Siris, “I think he might surpass even me if he never wastes his time with sabers..” Andraste watched him as he ran over to pick up the toys and try again. It was clear he was doing his best to show off for Siris. It wasn’t often that he had his father around in the audience and Andraste could tell he was trying his hardest, more than he ever did for anyone else.

Siris watched with a smile as Alais barraged Elix with another barrage of kisses who obviously thought it was gross. It was a precious sight to him and even though it was probably a small thing to other families, he would cherish it forever. He never knew if the mask would come back or if he was called to battle again. Siris had never thought of himself as immortal but Cregan's death did remind him of something, time was short for people like them. He never wanted to take any of these moments with his family like this for granted again. When Alais mentioned that Elix could already move things it snapped Siris from his thoughts and he looked down at him with wide eyes, "What?! No way, I wanna see this." Elix was already off the bed when he looked back to his dad, "Ok, ok, ok!"

Siris grinned at Elix's excitement, feeling a slight pang of guilt that he hadn't been there for his first moment. It reminded him he hadn't been there for a lot of firsts and his eyes lowered slightly, turning quiet for a moment while Alais looked over at Elix. But Siris was ready to be there for everything else and Lyanna's, reminding himself of that as well. While Elix was still getting his toys and they had a few seconds to themselves, Siris raised his gaze and made his meet Alais' at the same. His arm went around her hips and he pulled her tighter against him, gently placing his forehead against hers. Siris' silver eyes were directly in front of hers and he gave her a full smile, "I'm happy." Siris didn't speak much when it came to his feelings but for Alais, his eyes already conveyed it all, everything he felt in the moment. It was the first time he admitted to her like this but he wanted her to know through his own admission, not reading it off of him.

Siris already heard Elix stomping back loudly and he planted a quick kiss on Alais before sitting up as the action figures were placed on the bed in front of them.
"Alright, I'm ready." Alais could tell that Siris gave his undivided attention to, his eyes keenly watching Elix as he struggled at first. "You got it bud." He murmured softly, edging his son on as he waited eagerly for Elix to succeed. The figures began to move and Siris couldn't help but grin back at Elix, a weird sense of pride he never felt before filling him. The figures shot out to the walls uncontrollably and Elix looked a little embarrassed but Siris joined in congratulating, "Good job Elix, you did great."

While Elix ran off to collect the toys again, Siris glanced back at Alais with a chuckle soon following after. "Come here," With their size difference, she was pretty much a ragdoll to Siris and he easily picked her up and placed her between his legs like last time. Both of his arms went around her waist, drawing her back into him as he kissed her neck gently. "Too bad stupid sabers are gonna get in the way, they're just better." Siris then kissed her ear, "Either way, I don't want anyone surpassing you. I like you being unique." He then rested his head on her shoulder, watching Elix as he about to try and move the figurines again.
