DESCRIPTION
“Gaius” was the name given to an android created by human bioengineer Emilia Clarke on the planet of Alderaan. Her initial intention was to create an assistant to accompany her in her travels across the galaxy to gather organic materials and analyze them, and she wanted someone who could quickly make these analyses and store the information.

With that, through Gaius’s optical sensors, he is able to scan objects and organic substances on a cellular level, determining its makeup, age, and types of materials contained. He is also able to determine different kinds of energy, its power, what causes it, and if/how it impacts the environment around it. He has an internal database that he can access at anytime and is used in the information gathering process (it’s basically his memory). The database contains all known materials, elements, etc. along with maps and distances (for navigation purposes) and energy types. He also uses it to store information about past events, people, behavior pattern, and any experiences he comes across.

Gaius has the ability to learn new information and apply it to different situations. Any new information he discovers is stored into his database and, since he stores past events with it, he is able to use it to predict the outcome of an action/event. However, it is not perfect, as things don’t always go as planned and there could be information that he is missing. If he is faced with a situation that is unlike anything he has in his database, he is completely unable to make predictions on its outcome. Even so, he is able to act autonomously as he sees fit and prioritize objectives.

Model G002318 was meant to be a droid that was able to feel emotions, but without a personality module. Emilia intended for it to develop one of its own over time, but it’s not something that she was immediately able to accomplish. Therefore, Gaius started out unable to feel emotions, and his emotional receptors were defective. It would take more work for his personality and emotions to develop.

Even with all of these features, Gaius was never made for combat, only research and companionship. He looks almost exactly like any human, but he is also just as fragile as well. Unless taught, he doesn’t know any combat techniques and has very few predictions on how a fight would go from the beginning. He can only gain these skills over time.

LEGALITY
Legal. Though they have the capability for free will.

INTENT
I mostly wanted to make this for personal use as a playable droid character, but anyone can play similar models if they’d like! Whether their characters go through Emilia herself or not.

For me, I thought it’d be a fun challenge to play with a character that didn’t have emotions, but developed them over time. It’d be an interesting plot for a character to develop these things for the first time and try to come to terms with them and understand them.

And it’d be for anyone else who would like to play with this kind of thing as well!

“Gaius” is also an example that I used for the write-up and the character I plan on making, but anyone else is free to use the model with different names and appearances. They look human, so they each would look different.

ADVANCED TECH
Not sure yet.

Human replica droids are not a thing in this timeline, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to reject this out of hand. However, there are also a few problems with how you've structured this write-up; though you're using the approved template, you're not supposed to be ambiguous.

For example, "not sure yet" under the Advanced Tech header is not acceptable. Advanced Tech, by the way, does not signify whether the item in question is a sophisticated piece of tech, but how hard it is to acquire, basically whether a character needs to undertake a plot to get one or not. In this case, they absolutely would.

I would suggest that you look at some of the approved tech and tech rules, and get a feel for how things are done before you submit anything else.
