I thought it would be fun to see who people would vote for in each party for the 2008 Primaries that will decide the two candidates for the election of the 44th President of the United States. Now, some of you will probably say this means nothing since you don't live in the United States or you can't vote or you don't care, but for now just assume that you do live in the United States, that you can vote and that you do care. In regular primary elections, you can only vote in the party primary that you belong to meaning that if you are a Democrat you can't vote in a Republican primary.

Anyway, the choices are above. If you don't know any of them, Wiki them. At the bottom of this thread there is a key to tell you what some of the abbreviations in the poll mean. Now, without further adieu, here are my choices.

REPUBLICAN: Senator John McCain
DEMOCRAT: Fmr. Senator John Edwards

Now, how about you?

KEY
Fmr. = Former
Ret. Gen. = Retired General
Rev. = Reverand

If it's none then don't vote. That's how Democracy works.

You know, I was going to do a Presidential Election poll after these two polls are done, but if you guys are just going to only vote for the Democrats in this primary and ignore the Republicans then it completely defeats the purpose of it.

No it doesn't.

We just don't want to vote for republicans.

Doesn't defeat the purpose of an election or a poll.

Republican I'd vote John McCain.

Democrat I'd vote Wesley Clark, even though Jon Stewart is the shit.

And yes, Duncan DOES kick ass.

Duncan is awesome

I'd vote for Condi since she is pretty smart and would probably do well. Also, republicans could say that they got the first black and woman into the presidency. Although, Rudi Guliani did well with New York, that was his shining moment and I have no idea what he's done for his city in non-emergencies which occupy most of our time.

For the democrats, I'd pick Joe Leiberman since he seems to be the most conservative of the democrats.

Vote Barack Obama and you get the first black President. Vote Hillary Clinton and you get the first female President. It's not just the Republicans that have that opportunity.

Unfortunately, most of these people I don't know who they are....lol. Going on the choices given, I went for Jeb Bush Rep. and Joe Lieberman Dem.

Here's my explaination. I've seen how Jeb Bush has responded numerous times in a crisis and has handled himself very well. He has a better head on his shoulders than his brother...lol. McKain is alright, but I've seen him blow his top more than once over things that were crazy or even come up with some of the wildest thoughts that I've heard. He's great when he's not campaigning. When he campaigns though, he goes stupid or something. As for Giuliani, the man was hated in NY and criticized tons of times for his actions until September 11th. That alone makes me a little wary of him.

As for the Dems, please no...no Hillary!! I'm all for a woman being in the White House, but not her. She's the devil incarnate...lol. Edwards seems alright, but he's still a bit green around the collar...he needs more experience. Lieberman wasn't too bad.
