DESCRIPTION​

MMS-09 "Pisces" Corvette is a workhorse of a ship. Simply put, it was designed during the middle of the Hundred Years Darkness to protect planets while their fleets were away, offering a tiny compliment of fighters to help defend itself and expand it's effective range as a defensive option while still being able to 'slug it out' with larger classes of ships long enough to stall for reinforcements to arrive.

It isn't pretty, it isn't the best thing on the market and it was never meant to be. The MMS-09 "Pisces" Corvette does it's job simply by being a tough ship that every planet has in their Defense Fleets by the twin virtues of being effective against different classes of ships and having been mass-produced during the Hundred Years Darkness.

LEGALITY​

Capital craft are highly restricted and not eligible for civilian purchase. Drexls in particular are difficult to come by and invite many questions, as their captains are notoriously aggressive and the ships rarely survive a losing fight intact.

INTENT​

Intent is to give the Republic it's own standard System Defence Corvette that will be a key part of the Planetary Defence Fleets of many of it's member systems as it is more versatile than the CR-10 and yet larger than the Drexl-Class Corvettes.

ADVANCED TECH​

YES. Capital ships require plots to obtain and this is no different, despite the lack of turbolasers.
