Please note that Blood Red Stars is a sequential mission arc, and as such there are prerequisites to it. That being said, you cannot gain access to the second and third tier missions without having first been signed up for the first tier.

And as per an exchange Duke and I had via PM several months ago concerning this arc:

With regards to "Blood Red Stars", I was just curious when that was going to be started, or if parts of it can be started at any time. I'd like to claim an advanced spot (if possible) for the "Stirring up the Hornet's Nest" mission. What with Lexi being an ex-fighter pilot and all, that fits her perfectly.

Then consider this my sign up for the first tier mission as well. If you need me to officially request it in the mission sign up section though, that won't be a problem.

In short, the team that was signed up originally was meant to do each mission in sequence. However, since Duke left [and since I don't feel comfortable NPCing any of his characters], I'll consider the third slot [originally held by Hiro] for the first tier on Blood Red Stars vacant. Whoever is willing to sign up for that position will get a position on the subsequent missions to follow, save for Stirring the Hornets Nest which I had spoken for some time ago.
