Missing Jewels

Of course no one had a lighter. He would have to improvise. He moved around the room, ignoring the women for the most part, except when one of the girls asked if he had seen where her purse was. He about lost it. It would be a word the would trigger him for quite some time.

Luckily Sapphire finally did something useful besides being a major pain in his ass by wrangling the girls back up. He shot he grateful look as he turned back to his work. He took one of the barrels and dumped the chemical contents on the floor as a purplish liquid started spreading across the floor. He found some rope and dipped into some fuel that was in the room as well to use as a fuse. He started to explain himself as he finished the preparations. They didn't have much time and the girls were already starting to furiously protest. "If you want to stay, be my guest. This room is going to explode in about 60 seconds." he said hearing the first signs of their pursuers on this floor. "With any luck it will take most of this compound with it."

He said eyeing them, seeing none of them move. He took some cloth and shot a hole in it. "GO!" he shouted. The ends of the cloth were singed, smoking with embers. he held it the fuel soak rope and his caught fire quickly enough.

He was getting out of here regardless. He climbed inside the pipe and shut the hatch before turning to follow the five women. He would push the five women to run down the pipe as fast as the could.

About 45 seconds later the ground would shake as the room exploded, They had gotten far enough away, now all they needed to do was travel a few blocks up and they would be home free.

The girls cried hysterically, but they rapidly filed into the pipe as demanded. They were terrified at the thought of being blown up, even more than they were of the stench of the pipes. At least two of the girls vomited, but everyone kept rapid pace. Tasha was at the front, ignoring the smell and remaining light on her feet. It was suspicious that this way out existed and that the gang wouldn’t know about it. Then again, none of the men she ran into inside appeared too bright. She didn’t bother looking back, ignoring the screaming and dialogue taking place.

“Won’t my leg get infected?!”

“Gil! You can’t have sewage in your arm wound!”

“I’M GOING TO SMELL SO BAD FOR DAYS! NO ONE WILL COME SEE ME!”

“I can’t believe we are walking in literal shit!”

“Hey guys…. I don’t have to pee anymore.”

There was a moment of silence after that as the women continued to rush, splashing through the disgusting tunnels. They heard the tremendous boom behind them, the shockwaves rippling out even towards where they were. Tasha had to place a hand against the slippery tunnel wall to keep herself standing, her face scrunching up at having to touch anything here. Tasha spotted a ladder that led up, and she calculated that they were far enough away to where it was safe. She turned and motioned for everyone to stop before she quickly climbed up.

Popping the cover open, she peeked her head out and looked around, happy to find nothing but an empty street. She took in the breath of fresh air and climbed out from the sewer, happy to be away from the disgusting dwellings. The other girls all climbed up after her, though Jade needed some assistance thanks to the wound on her leg. Tasha was still wounded on her thigh, but she ignored it this whole time. She glanced down, realizing that it was starting to look much worse from not being tended to.

All of the girls looked over at Gil expectantly, looking to him as some sort of leader. Emerald was the first to speak, “Well…what now?”

Tasha was already looking around for ways to make a quick getaway.

"Go! GO!" he urged the women forward from the back of the line. He picked Emerald up, who had fallen during the explosion. "Come on. We are almost there!" he said

It wasn't long before Sapphire reached a ladder and climbed up. The line slowly followed up back in the relatively "fresh air". "This way." he pointed down the street aways where he had a speeder.

Gil looked back, seeing the plume of smoke rising from several blocks away. The explosion had been bigger than he thought. He would have to more digging later to see if the gang had been eliminated completely. He didn't want the threat of a revenge plot hanging over the Lusty Lekku.

The piled in the speeder. It was a pretty rough looking bunch. They were tired, injured and smelly but they were alive. Once back at the Lusty Lekku he would see to having a doctor come to treat the injuries.

"YOU'RE SITTING ON MY ARM!"

"MY LEG HURTS!"

"HOW FAR IS IT?!"

"I don't get paid nearly enough for this..." he said, rubbing his temples. One of the girls, Diamond, turned to Sapphire "Hey you gotta teach me that move you did back there...badass.."

It wouldn't take them long to reach the Lusty Lekku but it would likely feel like an eternity as the woman seemed to grow louder as they realized they were going to live.
