Emryc couldn’t help but follow Jaikus’ line of sight when the man appeared to be enthralled by the cooking show. When he saw the zoodles, his face lit up slightly, “I love that stuff,” He remarked with a grin, though the grin didn’t last too long. With a pang he was reminded of when he ate copious amounts of it when he was going through the breakup with Morgan. He reminded himself to eat the dish again in better context to keep from associating with that memory.
Thankfully, Jaikus had the perfect ways to distract him easily. His head tilted back slightly and he closed his eyes as the Axxilan grazed his nails against the back of his neck. There was a soft, satisfied groan that escaped him. Jaikus would be vaguely reminded of rubbing a dog’s belly and hearing the satisfied growls in response.
Silver gaze flicked open again as Jaikus spoke, the thought of the doll giving him pause, “But what if facing the doll lets us discover Temple of the Elders on Lehon?” He asked very matter of factly. However, he couldn’t keep his face straight for long, a grin breaking out.
He exhaled his breath sharply as Jaikus began to move around on his lap. This time he knew the man was doing it on purpose, catching the grin on his partner’s face. Emryc’s arms that were around his torso slid down the sides of his body to rest on his hips, very much encouraging the movement. He felt Jaikus slowly begin to slide his hand down, his body reacting to everything the man was doing.
“We do,” Emryc said quietly, returning the man’s grin with a matching one. Without warning, he pushed off from where he was sitting and toppled Jaikus onto his back on the couch seats. Emryc had a hand on either side of him to prop himself up as he gazed down at Jaikus. The grin remained on his face as he leaned in closer, “What did you have in mind?”
