“I don’t need a babysitter,” She said with a huff, which was pointedly ignored. Not only was she being told about the detail she had to have, but it was one of her sister’s ‘handmaidens’ telling her so. What the hell was a handmaiden anyway? Women planted in place to be her friend since she never had any anymore? Val chastised herself for the cruel thought, though her mood didn’t improve.
She was standing near the gates that led to the exterior of the palace courtyards. Val had almost made it out entirely on her own when she was stopped along the way. Her sister may have been exalted into her new position, but she had an uncanny way of always knowing what Val was up to.
“Really, I’m going there for a hobby. It’s insulting to drag in a Jedi for something so trivial,” Val said.
“I’m sorry, it’s out of my hands,” The woman said meekly, “Felucia is not a safe planet,” She explained, rapidly walking to keep pace with Val.
“Whatever, tell my sister she can just-”
“M’Lady he is already here,” She spat out at once.
Val came to stop, spinning around to look at her, “What?”
