MIRAGE CLASS SPECIAL OPS. ARMOR

Mirage Class Republic Special Operations Armor was developed to maintain a lower profile especially in urban environment, and allow greater mobility. Developed by the Republic's Department of Military Research, this armor can be issued to clandestine or strike-team operatives. Manufactured on Coruscant.

Unlike some other standard Special Operations Armor, the Mirage Class is not a full suit of overlapping durasteel composite plates. The torso, back, shoulders, and boots are made of durasteel plates; while verpine fiber mesh provides protection for the arms. Operatives can supplement the armor with a belt, leg pouch, holster, or backpack to carry whatever supplies might be necessary.

LEGALITY

Legally worn by members of the Republic Speical Operations only. Wearing it outside of Republic space could be perceived as infringing the sovereignty of said space.

INTENT

Additional Republic Special Ops. Armor Variant.

ADVANCED TECH

Armor classification is determined by coverage regions, not actual materials. Six protective coverage regions is maximum for medium armor, 3 for light. Any more than those is heavy (which is what this is reading as with all the regions filled out), and subject to restrictions of heavy armor.

So, if you want medium armor, knock down the coverage regions down to four to six. (and if the region isn't being covered, feel free to omit it)

Also protective materials must be significant (whatever they are). So is Synthetic weave is just cloth (?) then it''s probably not going to hold up against blaster fire

Updated to omit the hands and legs; was just filling in the gap where armor wasn't.
