Modified Arbitor P.A.K
All I did was change the helmet.
original credit @Darasuum
AFFILIATION: Frontier Buccaneers/ open market
MANUFACTURER: TBD
INTENT FOR MODIFICATION: I modified this because I was given permission to do so. Also, because I wanted to change it to better suit my characters unique requirements.

INTENT FOR USE: I intend for this to be used by other characters in a militaristic career path (please contact me if you want to use this just so I know if it's desirable. i like feedback) and for my character Geir Ambros to use and potentially future characters as well.
OWNER: Geir Ambros/open market (expensive and rare)
MODEL: Arbitrator Personal Armor Kit
WEIGHT: 25 kg
COMPOSITION: Made of durasteel plates and fiber armour weave allowing for extensive maneuverability as well as an environmentally protective body glove. some small titanium components for internal integrity.

RATING: The Arbitrator P.A.K. is heavy armor but can have individual pieces made lightsaber resistant. individual pieces can take three consecutive shots. only solid plates have the ability to withstand direct flames while the body glove protects against environmental heat. the suit is internally seal and allows for fifteen minutes in vacuum.

DESCRIPTION
The Arbitrator Personal Armour Kit was first manufactured for private military forces, elite soldiers as well as wealthy officials that wished to provide the best equipment for whom ever they saw fit to out fit with such. a number of small private military corporations purchased a number of suits as well as extensive popularity in the outer rim territories. when seen in a space port one knew that the wearer was an individual capable of great violence and efficiency. rarely were they taken on by simple thugs or criminals the Arbitrator PAK was used by trained organization because the suit required maintenance that only an expertise could use. also it was often the case that the only way an individual would part with his armor after death and by that time the suit was often too greatly damaged to be salvaged.

the main reason these peices aren't seen in as great of rotation is because the company that created the design was soon purchased and dissolved the designs of the original PAKs as well as the crafting specifications were lost to have its characteristics subtly changed or added to other armour designs if not removed from circulation all together. it was because of this lack of armour suits that no suit is quite the same but each is expertly crafted as well as extremely effective in the field. the Arbitrator was the favored PAK of the Frontier Buccaneers at the peek of their infamy and may have been the greatest show of the PAK’s capabilities in the field. but there are a select few of secretive armourers that have the expertise as well as the facilities to maintain these PAKs though their services can cost a pretty penny.

considering it’s effective protection it is surprisingly light and can be further decreased in weight by the removal of plates. this was originally to allow the wearer the maximum amount of comfort if they had to stay motionless in a recon or sniper position, to have extravehicular activity as a possibility or to simply allow the user the ability to customize where they carried various ammunition or weapons as can be seen by each user has a custom set. the placement of the various pieces of actual plates are designed to allow complete natural field of movement and not hinder any close combat movement as well as the more mobile units.

the suit itself can be worn to just the simple body glove and helmet to have an environmental seal. the helmet is fashioned to allow complete field of view while still providing full protection. short range radio and commlink communications are hardened but can be knocked out given enough force or could otherwise be jammed.

P.A.K. FEATURES
Body Glove
the underlying and basic piece of the armor underneath the whole suit is a black body glove that helps regulate internal temperature and protect from external harsh environments. it is a reactive material that can survive limited vacuum environments, as well as submerged water situations. it does not protect against kinetic damage though and can be torn or penetrated by weapons though his tough enough to prevent from accidental rupturing or tearing by external environment. in addition it requires the helmet to have a complete vacuum seal and regulate the environment and on its own without the computer interface it’s efficiency exponentially drops.

Helmet:
The HUD function and vitals display has been removed it no longer displays communication information. Instead, the visor has been modified to be able to retract. If it isn't retracted, the helmet has been given enhanced optics capable of zooming in on objects and persons at ranges of up to 200m a dial has been added to the side of the helmet which regulates the level of magnification. The nightvision and infrared vision function has been retained. A receiver has been added to the top that is capable of intercepting any form of broadcasted communication that is not encrypted. This includes local radio and holo broadcasts as well as some comlink transmissions. A holoprojector has been added to the forehead to play intercepted holo transmissions.

Filtration
the PAK’s filtration system can extract breathable air from an otherwise toxic environment and keep harmful radiation, poisons or simple dust particles from harming the wearer. the suit is only capable of supplying limited life support for fifteen minutes and that is if it is not hit with an EMP or Ion blaster. it can filter out only a limited amount of toxins before it switches over to life support and must be replaced out of action and does not resupply itself in the field. the filtration system is not only referring to the breathing process but for sound and light as well. sensors in the helmet can gauge the bright flashes of light that would otherwise harm an individual to go to a safe tint and something like a loud bang or rolling rumble to be nothing more than a soft growl or tapping sound.
