Born to a moderately well-off family in the Lower City of Taris, Michael Drake lived the first few years of his life in relative normalcy. He was raised with little supervision, as his mother was often busy with her day-job as a waitress, and his father was both a swoop bike mechanic and a fearsome drunk. Though Drake was an inherently inquisitive and well-meaning boy, he lived in fear of his father's drunken tirades and frequent beatings, and hatred grew within his heart. During the day, he'd go to the starport and haggle the visiting spacers for their stories of adventure. One spacer in particular, a Corellian man named Ulysses Sato, grew fond of the boy, and told him his tales whenever he docked at the Tarisian starport. Likewise, the impressionable Drake grew to trust this man as a pseudo-paternal figure, and eventually told him of his father's misdemeanors at home. Angered by the news, Ulysses went home with Drake that night, and savagely beat his father when he returned home, before taking the boy with him back to his ship. Once there, he offered Drake the opportunity of a lifetime: go and work with him, or remain on Taris. To Drake, the choice was clear, and the duo took off into the stars.

As it turned out, Ulysses was a smuggler and an outlaw, and he'd just lost his first mate to bounty hunters. He was a wanted man, and he'd brought Drake onboard for help, and unbeknownst to the boy, potential leverage in case things went south. Over the years, the two experienced their fare share of adventure, and Drake grew into a capable spacer in his own right. Ulysses taught him how to fly his ship (a stock RB-700 Light Freighter) and how to shoot a blaster, both of which he grew particularly skilled at. His natural affinity for lying and manipulating was something that he learned by himself over time. The two made for a striking duo, with a lucky streak that lasted into Drake's twenties. However, it was doomed to fail eventually. Ulysses had grown old, and wanted to retire, but Drake was still young and hungry for adventure. He gave Drake the ship, and after a fond farewell, the two parted ways forever.

The years dragged on. Drake lost his right arm in a firefight with bounty hunters, and after barely escaping with his life, fled to Coruscant, where he got his arm replaced with a mechanical prosthetic. The woman who performed the operation was named Celina Galahad, and the two quickly fell in love. Their relationship progressed quickly, and soon, they were scheduled to be married, with a child on the way. For Drake, things happened too quickly. He grew fearful of losing his life among the stars, and of repeating the same abusive cycle that his father had imparted upon him. In an act of sheer recklessness, Drake abandoned his pregnant fiancé on Coruscant--an action that he deeply regrets to this day--and continued to live his life as an outlaw.

A complicated man of oftentimes contradictory traits, Michael Drake's personality changes largely depending on his mood. Deep inside, he's a caring, ultimately responsible man, but that part of himself has been buried within a thick layer of abrasiveness. He's equal parts arrogant and charismatic--he's cocky, confident (especially about his appearance), and manipulative, but he's also incredibly charismatic, and on occasion, shows a more cheerful side to his bitter persona. He's heavily sarcastic and occasionally spiteful, and often eschews pleasantries for a venomous statement. On very rare occasions does he let his true emotions show, whether that be an unbridled rage or a surprising moment of melancholy, and usually these occur around people that he trusts with his life.

Drake is a talented combatant and pilot, trained to fly and repair a wide variety of craft, ranging from freighters to starfighters. He's extremely dexterous with a blaster, and a worthwhile CQC fighter as well, especially with the addition of his metal prosthetic. However, he has little experience with military-grade blasters or melee weapons, and would be woefully inadequate with a lightsaber should he ever get his hands on one. Additionally, despite his various experiences in the Outer Rim, his grasp of alien languages is largely inadequate, though he is fully capable of communicating in Aurebesh and Binary.

My only note would be to note that a prosthetic arm would have all the same capabilities/limitations as a normal arm. You don't hint that its stronger or anything like that, just wanted it noted. Everything else looks good!
