Metal bawkes...where are our METAL BAWKES!?!

"Metal bawkes..what the hell am I listening to"Jaz muttered as he listened to this...advertisement for something, or rather instead of a advertisement instead this being was high on something..very...very potent, however he had to focus on a small matter of some missing cartel machinery, he wasn't completely sure if it was weapons or just something else either way the items were missing and Jaz and another member of the cartel had to go hunting...hunting for some METAL BAWKES!

"Ah kriff it..it's going to be stuck in my head now"the red hair muttered as it repeated itself once more before turning it off before he was driven insane by the person's rambling, he focused on the planet ahead that he was nearing, word was that a freighter there had been hijacked and forced to land there, if that was true Jaz wasn't sure he it was the only lead he had in this task, so it would be his first stop

 

[Zay]

"Dude, That was the weirdest karking commercial I've ever heard." I scoffed from the co-pilot chair in Jaz's ship. I leaned forward in my seat and looked over to my compadre, "So, we gonna get the BAWKES?!" I laughed as I stood and moved to retrieve my weapons. It wouldn't be long before he touched down and I wanted to be sure my gear was primed. Ebony & Ivory were beautiful as always with their chrome finish gleaming in the dim lighting of the ship. Rebellion was sharp and perfectly balanced. I hoped I wouldn't need the weapon, but you never knew with missions like these.

The mission had come to me several hours ago and told me I'd be partnered along side Jaz. I was pretty pumped. Me and the quirky guy hit it off at Broga's party a few weeks back. I hadn't seen the red head since the party so, I was eager to get caught up. Seeing that me weapons were good to go I secured my guns to my waist and my sword to my back and returned to the cockpit. "Do we have any leads?" I'd never been to this planet and didn't know the slightest about it. Hopefully, someone would be willing to speak up. If not this job would get a lot dirtier.

"....Kriff it I don't need you copying that idiot now, but yeah we're going to get the boxes..what's inside them I don't know, could be weapons hell it could even be a tank I don't know, but yeah we're going to find the baw-boxes"Jaz said nearly saying the kriffing word once again knowing that Zane would probably have picked up on the fact he nearly spoke the word again, glancing over his shoulder to see that the man was getting prepared for the task at hand

"Any leads, well one lead we have is that apparently a freighter carrying cartel goods was hijacked above the planet Duunir and forced to land on the planet's surface, as for what the planet is...all I know is that it's a jungle planet, so we'll most likely have to pick up a lead inside the jungle"Jaz started to say as he flew his ARC-360 into the planet's atmosphere and looked for a good landing zone picking one of the clearing as a good place to land Jaz slowly brought the craft down landing with a soft thump, it's door opening up and a ladder unfolding down to the ground.

"If it's not here then and we find a good clue here, then we'll just follow the trail til we find it"Jaz said as he stood up from the seat and moved tot he back and got his equipment sorted hoping that nobody was alerted to the duo's presence on the planet

 

[Zay]

"Hmm, I don't think this planet has any real civilization on it." I said as I plopped down in the co-captain chair. "Can we do a scan for anything out of the ordinary on the planet?" I wasn't sure what kinda radars Jaz had but his ship was pretty tricked out to my eye. I spun in the chair to face Jaz and smiled. "I guess if worse comes to worse I guess we could always just fly around looking for the metal box." In all honestly I hated missions like this. Showing up with little to no information being told to handle something that was WAY more dangerous then the mission entailed... "Gotta love the Hutt's." I thought.

"So where do you wanna start, bud?" I asked. Jaz was the Enforcer here his word was the rule on this mission.

"Same but that doesn't mean nobody's using the planet as a hideout so who knows maybe we'll get lucky and find something"Jaz said as he loaded his blaster hearing it power up ready for action hearing Zane ask about scanning the planet for anything out of the ordinary, laughing Jaz looked at the man and shook his head

"That would be useful if I was flying something just a little bit bigger than this like say a star destroyer"laughing Jaz moved back to his seat and sat down his blaster on his lap as he checked the scanners, although he wasn't picking anything on the scanners

"Well this was a wa-*beep*..never mind what's this?"checking the monitor he could tell that there was something...taking off nearby..wait he had to do something quickly and so without talking to Zane he had turned all power off from his fighter/bomber and looked out of the cockpit to see a freighter taking off, but that question was: was that the ship that had been hijacked or something else

"Well..I guess we found ourselves a clue..let's go Zane"and with that he stood up grabbing the blaster before it fell and attached it to his belt, as he didn't need to use it right now and went down the ladder then stepping to the side to let the kid down before hitting a button to bring the ladder up and close the door

 

[Zay]

"I mean, I agree with you. I was just thinking it might be hard to get information out of people who don't speak basic." I shrugged my shoulders and smirked. I was fine with attempting to communicate with random beings. It was way better than anything else I had to do for the cartel.

I smiled clearly I didn't know crap about the capabilities of star ships."Well, excuse me for assuming your ship was way better then it actually is!" I joked as I attempted to cover my ignorance up.

The appearance of the new ship sent a shock of excitement through my body. It's had been a while since I'd had the opportunity to do anything with ebony & ivory and I was itching to let the duo spit death into these low lives.

A smile parted my lips as I sat back down in the co-pilots chair. "Well, what are we waiting for? Run that son of a slug down!"

"..I guess we can do that a little shooting never harmed anybody..well except for the person on the other end"turning around to bring the ladder back down and open the door he noticed Zane worming his way back onto the ship before the door had closed, looking at the now closed door Jaz shook his head before once again opening the door and lowering the ladder andclambering back into the fighter, so Jaz could pilot the ship since Zane was so determined to bring down the freighter

"Well if they don't speak basic well I'm sure we have other means to get our point across right?"and with that the man sat down and before getting on with the process of powering the ship up he quickly gave a quick smack on the back of the head a pilot doesn't like his ship being mocked

"Oh is that a challenge? Fine after we sort this out you're going to seat on that chair and watch me fly"Jaz said as he powered up the fighter, and started to take off remembering to close and fold the ladder once again, making a mental note to remember where the freighter had taken off from before moving to get behind the freighter

"Do you want to start the party...or talk to them?"and with that Jaz focused on flying and avoiding any incoming fire

 

[Zay]

"Do you want to start the party...or talk to them?"

This question sent my mind on fire. I really really wanted to watch that ship explode into a billion pieces and laugh at their horrible timing, but the mission took priority over my feelings, which is total bantha shab. "We need to talk to 'em." I said disappointed I wasn't going to get to see the ship get ripped to shreds.

"If we really think about it this is our only lead. Let's board them and see what we can find out." Jaz had the last say he was the higher up and let's face it I was riding in his ship.

Jaz seemed to be in agreeance with me as he maneuvered the ship with the skill that few beings alive could muster. The ship in question immediately picked up on our approach and decided to make our choice for us. Green bolts flew toward Jaz's ship with lethal intent. "Oh FRAAK!" I said as I gripped the arms of the co-pilot's chair with all my might. Subconsciously, I sucked my legs into my chest in a pseudo upright fetal position as Jaz handled the evasive maneuvers. Once I was certain I wasn't about to piss myself I returned to a normal sitting position and looked to Jaz "Are you gonna shoot back or do I need to!" The question came out as if I was yelling at him but in actuality I hadn't regained my senses just yet and was simply unable to control the volume of my voice.

Jaz looked at me like I was nuts, which made perfect sense. He then pointed to the controls for the guns. I jumped on the weapons and took aim. Being in control of something was way better then screaming in a chair. I opened fire on the ship the bolts from Jaz's ship flew toward the enemies vessel arcing slightly as our ship bobbed and weaved to avoid incoming fire. Sweat beaded on my forehead as the stress of the encounter began to mount. I'd never had to shoot someone out of the sky before and quite frankly, I wasn't a fan of it. Put me on the ground with Rebellion or Ebony & Ivory and I'd have a field day. I finally got the hand of the weapons I adjusted my targeting and tracked my tagrget waiting for just the right moment to fire.

Internally, I felt a tugging in my gut. It was as if something was telling me to do something. Either the force was showing up or I was about to get really really sick. I decided to pull the trigger and watched as the bolt danced through he sky and slammed into the main engine of the ship in question.

I sat back in the chair and let out a sigh of relief while wiping my brow. "That sucked..." I said exhausted. I looked to Jaz and smiled "Nice flying there, Ace. Why don't we board that junk heap and have a talk with the crew." I said with a mischievous smile. It was time to get my revenge.

"Oh Frakk!" Glancing over at Zane as he spoke the man was about to yell at the man to fire back already if he wasn't too busy avoiding the freighter's fire, during one manuvera of a small raise in height then diving back behind the freighter Jaz saw Zane starting to curl up which really wasn't useful at all considering the fact that the man could really use the weapon controls and fire back.

Without paying much attention to Zane Jaz carried on avoiding the incoming fire from the freighter, smiling slightly when he saw that Zane was finally shooting back at the ship, missing a few times before somehow managing to score a direct hit on the ship's engines and he could see the ship shudder from the sudden loss of it's engine and then tilt downwards to the ground uncontrollable before it inevtitablely crashed into the ground parts of the ship breaking off as it grinded into the ground, flames roaring from the holes caused from the crash landing

"...Well that was easy, I was half expecting the freighter to at least put up abit more of a fight..huh..maybe we caught them off guard and that their shields were damaged somehow"Jaz muttered as he flew over the crash site, landing some distance away so if they had any heavy weapons like a rocket launcher they wouldn't be able to shoot down Jaz and Zane and leave them stranded on this planet.

"Let's try to take a few alive..especially the captain for questioning everybody else..."Jaz said landing the ship and opening the doors before looking at Zane his helmet coving what emotion he might be showing

"As for those we don't need for questioning..kill them for attempting to steal cartel equipment"and with that the familiar sound of a blaster charging up was heard, and the stormtrooper armoured solider headed off to fighter to bestow the cartel's judgement on the thieves..even if they didn't have much idea about what things HAD been stolen
