Mal finally made it to Yavin IV flying low over the planets lush green surface he looked out the window as he approached the landing pad for ship, as his ship was being landed he looked out the window at the view, off in the distance he could see a large gray temple sticking out off the trees. The young acolyte walked off the ramp of his ship once it touched down he was wearing his hooded robe with the hood up and his mask on and the lenses closed to protect his eyes, on the left side of his waist he had his lightsaber hanging from his belt. He was greeted by a angry looking old man wearing a lightwhip on his belt and scowling at the young man who just landed, "you must be the one that i got the message about." The old man coughed "said some freak in a mask was coming to train here and should be given a spot," the old man didn't wait for a response instead turning and walking away as he did this he raised one hand and motioned for the young man to follow him. Mal was not sure what was going on but he followed the old man anyway as they went into the temple of the sith, the old man showed Mal to the room where he would be living while he was training there. The room was a small empty room with a corner to meditate and a small bookshelf and desk, there was also a good sized wall locker next to the bed which had storage underneath. The old man gave him a moment then continued on to show him the rest of the facility's of the temple, after the tour was over he was told that later that evening he would need to be in the entrance hall with the rest of the new recurites that came that day. Mal looked slightly surprised for a moment before letting out a light laugh, "i think not old man i have already been given the title of acolyte and was told to come here to find a new master." The old man looked to the youth before him and began to laugh as he raised a hand pointing it at the acolyte and unleashing a blast of force lightning, this hit Mal making him drop to his knees as he was didnt think the old man would attack him.

The old man walked away laughing as though he had not got to enjoy himself like that in a long time, Mal stood up with the look of anger on his face. The acolyte then walked out of the temple onto his ship where he grabbed a good size pack and fill it with supplies, he then left his ship and walked off into the woods leaving the temple behind. As he walked away from the temple he passed a couple sith talking about a sith named Lord Weiss, they mentioned that he had already left for his gray temple. Hearing the men talk Mal couldn't help but wonder if they were talking of the same gray temple he saw on his landing approach, he decided that he would go check it out and see maybe he would even find himself the new master he was looking for. As he walked away he pressed a couple of buttons on the controller implanted into his wrist, just as he finished his ship could be see off in the distance taking off into space to go sit in orbit until he calls for it again. As the mad scientist made his way through the woods he could not help but start to look at all the creatures of the planet, as he did that the only thing he was thinking about was all the experiments he could do with them. These thoughts helped him to calm himself down after the events of the temple, he was no longer thing of killing that old man but instead performing experiments on him maybe altering his genetic make-up. After a few hours of walking he came up the large gray pyramid he saw from his ship as he was landing, he stopped walking and looked at the massive temple wondering if this was where the sith lord was located.

After a moment of standing in the tree line looking at the temple he decide to look around from the outside, so he stayed hidden in the trees while walking around looking for good ways to get into the building. As he was walking around the building he came upon a extension of the building that was damaged, he stopped and looked at the piece of the building wondering what had happen as it looked as though a bomb had went off. After finding the temple damaged he was sure that someone lived there though he was not sure who they were of just how friendly they would be, he decided that he was not going to try that way in as he was sure it would be under the watch of who ever was there. The acolyte began walking again still in the trees looking at the temple as he walked its perimeter looking for a small hidden door or a crack big enough to fit through with out detection, though as he made his way around he quickly realized that other then that big hole he found earlier and the front door there was no way into this place that he could see. So he decided that he would try his luck with the front door, this way even if he was not able to sneak in he might have a chance or running into the owner of the temple though to be honest he was not sure if that would be a good thing. Mal let out a sigh and began to make his way to the main entrance of the temple to go inside, he reached it still in the tree line out of sight and began to scan the area to see if there was anyone there. After a moment of scanning he didn't see anyone so he decided to try and make a break for it, as he jumped out of the tree line landing in the opening in front of the temple he began to run for the door only to see a large laser turret on each side of the door drop down from the ceiling of the doorway and take aim at him. Mal quickly stopped grabbing his lightsaber from his belt and taking up a defensive stance in preparation for the laser bolts, though to his surprise they stopped and went back into the ceiling of the doorway this made the acolyte relax for a moment until he realized a man who appeared to be made of chrome standing there. Seeing the man he was not sure what to so he quickly took his defensive stance again to prepare in case the mystery man attacked, though lets be honest if this was the sith lord who he had heard about he would not be able to do much. "Are you the sith Lord Weiss owner of the this temple that i have heard rumor of," he asked in a calm but stern voice.

The Grey Temple had seen modication since its tenure under Lebon Schwarz. Security had not been prime, and such flaws had been extracted by Lain Derisma's infiltration. She had raided the temple, leaving a noticeable hole in the wall and tried to steal data. Since then Geist beefed up security. Security droids were hidden behind panels. Turrents were installed, including in the foyer and throughout the complex. He kept the hole in the wall, despite being repaired, to lure enemies into a trap where mines were located. And, lastly, it came with a failsafe. Were Geist not to be home and someone tried to access his archives without his permission would result in the Grey Temple self-destructing.

But Geist was home. And security immediately notified him of someone approaching. The man seemed curious, almost nervous. It piqued Geist's interest. He decided to check it out personally. Through the Force Geist sensed the man, and learned of his strength. His own aura was masked with invisibility.

The turrents were already active as he reached the door. A command to the computer retracted them. The door opened for Geist to greet the mysterious newcomer. The illusion would show a man standing near the door. The real Geist was three feet to the left, with his lightsaber ready to be ignited. The man's greeting gave the impression he didn't know what he was after, but that could be faked.

"I am Lord Geist Weiss," greeted the doppelganger, with a slight bow. "Master of the Grey Temple. And whom am I addressing?"

He stood there still holding his defensive stance as the man in front of him spoke, "I am Lord Geist Weiss" the mans doppelganger spoke while the real lord Weiss was actually a few feet over to the left. Mal looked at the man "so this is the man hmm" the acolyte thought to himself, the lord then followed up adding the bit about how he was the master of the temple. Mal slightly relaxed placing his lightsaber back on his belt not sure what would come next as the sith lord asked the arkanian his name, "ah yes where are my manners i am Mal Hagui a acolyte who just arrive to the temple and was searching for a new place to do some research if you will." Mal paused briefly looking to the sith lord "i also was hoping that i might find a new master while i was out, you wouldn't happen to be looking for a new apprentice would you?" Mal asked the man as he started to pace side to side. After a few moments of pacing back and forth he stopped and faced the sith lord once more, "if you don't mind me asking my lord, what happen to your temple it seems there was a large battle." Mal began to smile though it was hidden behind his mask as he asked the question, "i hope everything is okay i wouldn't want this beautiful temple to fall apart of anything" he asked the sith lord.

For first impressions, this Mal Hagui wasn't doing well. In fact, he was poking at Geist's paranoia. Just arrived at the temple? Of course he did. Grey Temple's computer would have had him on file if he had visited before. His questions seemed suspicious. Out of all the locations in the area, he just happens to find the temple owned by a researcher? He already knew who the owner was, though it was possible his reputation preceded him. In all, the alchemist wasn't sure if the man was here to sabotage or spy on him. After Lain Derisma's raid, he wasn't going to be carefree on such matters. And he had the gall to mention Derisma's damage!

What invoked Geist's intrigue was the man's strength in the Force. It was obvious he was untrained. It could be that the man was sent by another Sith, maybe as condition to obtain tutelage from them. If it was the case, eliminating Mal Hagui wouldn't solve anything. Fine, he'd play along. Long enough to get the upperhand on this suspicious brat and find out who sent him.

"And you come to me?" asked Geist, voice void of bitterness that ran through his mind. "You're a long ways from home. How did you hear about me?" The doppelganger was controlled to look at the damage. "Ah, that. That's just something left from a past intruder. Nothing to worry about. It's been a while, and I've checked the temple's integrity."

Mal listen as the man began to speak to him, "and you come to me" the man comment before making a inquirery as to how Mal had heard about him. Lord Geist's doppelganger then looked to the damage to the temple before telling the acolyte how it was caused by a past intruder, he then stayted that the man should not worry about it as it will be fine. Mal looked to the sith lord as thinking of all the things that were said, "well actully i didn't come here for you, i noticed the large temple on my decend to the surface of the planet" he paused for a moment. "As i had said earlier i came here looking for a place to establish my new lab for this planet, that is when i found the temple was not as empty as i was hoping it to be," the acolyte smiled a little though it was hidden under his mask. "As for how i heard about you" he paused for a moment "a couple of sith were talking about you as i was leaving the sith temple and i happen to over here though i never thought to meet you."

Mal looked to the sith lord once more woundering if this man would take the acolyte under his wing, "well i will take my leave and look else where for a place to build my lab i didn't mean to intrude." Mal spoke as he was turning to walk away, "oh and would you happen to know any sith looking for a new apprentice as i take it you are not" Mal asked looking backas he started for the tree line.

A lot of coincidences led to the man arriving at Grey Temple. Statistically low, but not impossible. Geist decided to believe the man, for now. He wanted to keep an eye on him, learn what he really was up to, if he wasn't being upfront.

"Much of the surrounding structures have been claimed, or used for training," informed Geist. "Obtaining one will be very difficult to procure." Geist motioned to Grey Temple. "I do not always use this temple, so I could lend its facilities to you." After I wipe out the archives and remove any evidence that could be used by others, the alchemist added mentally. "You intrigue me. Many Sith seek hone their combative skills, yet you search for a laboratory. You have my attention, Mal Hagui. What is it you wish to research?" Geist was already determined to bring this man into his fold, so no answer would dissuade him.

The sith acolyte stopped walking away as Lord Geist began to talk to him. Mal was not to pleased to hearing the sith lord state that most if not all of the local structures were taken already, Lord Geist then motioned the man towards the temple, Mal was a little reluctant to approach as he was not what would happen. The sith lord began to speak again this time tell the acolyte how he is not always at the temple and that he might lend this place to the acolyte for his research, he then told Mal that he was intrigued by the acolyte for looking for a lab and not just seeking to gain power from the sith most other acolyte who join the sith. Geist then told the acolyte that he had caught the sith lords eye by searching out a laboratory, the sith lord then inquired into what the acolyte was researching which worried Mal a little bit as he didn't want people stealing his ideas. After a few moments of thought he responded to Lord Geist's questions.

"Well if you are willing to offer up this amazing place as a laboratory for my work it would be outright rude of me to decline" Mal said as he turned back facing the sith lord once more as he walked over as the sith gestured him to. "Well I reasearch many things here lately how ever I have been getting into some different forms of poisons and other things of that nature, I am also currently working on a new suit of armor though I can only do so much with the lab on my ship" he informed Lord Geist. There are is also some beast enhancements i am working on though i will have to go collect specimens before i can continue with those experiments, i should also finish my research and work on making a few synthetic crystals, thought the acolyte. "Feel like showing me to the space in which i will be aloud to use" Mal incurred.

Mal seemed a little reluctant at first. Geist suspected that was because of hope for a personal laboratory. However, sharing a laboratory also had its enticement to the acolyte. It meant facilities already present. It could help speed up his research. And that would be how Geist would keep an eye on Mal Hagui.

As to be expected the man accepted the offer. He cited his interests of research. Geist said, "A long list of interests. Not that I blame you. My own research projects tend to go on different directions. Some I may be able to help you with. I have multiple specimens already. Armor, I have facilities for that too; my own armor was made here." That might throw Hagui for a loop, as his current illusionary form gave the appearance of a metallic faceless man simply in a dark blue suit.

Geist ignored the unintended strike towards Geist's seniority. Hagui should have waited for the alchemist to offer a tour, not invite himself to one. Still, it was possible it wasn't a sign of spite, but of ignorance. If he wasn't a saboteur or assassin, it could be that Hagui was just a newly rechristened Sith, ignorant of courtesy and protocol, though the courtesy ignored in this case was generally a common one, even outside the Sith. For now, Geist decided to make note of it, and not take offense for now. "Follow me."

Geist led the way inside Grey Temple. The foyer was a little dark, as some lights had not been replaced since Laine's assault. They took a hallway into the heart of the temple. "The passage to the right is living quarters. Occasionally I have some students stay here." He didn't mention Zan Balantine's occupancy, as to let their encounter bloom naturally. "If you choose to take residency, it would be done there." He also intentionally failed to mention his living quarters, which were located elsewhere, behind a secret passage. "To the left is one of my makeshift laboratories." Geist took Hagui down that path. As they entered, the two Sith could see an array of tools. Most of them carving tools, along with other tools needed for constructing armor, lightsabers, or other devices and machinations. In the center was a half completed statue of Empress Andraste. "This is where I make my armor and weapons. As you can see, I've borrowed it for my construction of a statue." Geist stopped, to see if Hagui had any comments before preceding further into the tour.
