Meeting on korriban (Organised on messages)

After receiving confirmation she headed to korriban to await their meeting. She grabbed both of her lightsabers and departed from her ship. She would soon begin organising for her plan.

Artarion was intrigued. He had received a missive asking for a meeting on Korriban from an unknown source. Intrigued enough to take time from his busy schedule to take a trip back to the mother land and see what this was all about. The message had not left any real instructions, so he made his way to the great hall of the Sith Library on Korriban. It seemed the most public and most accessible of places on the planet.

Artarion stood with his hands behind his back as he regarded the collection of Sith art on display in the entryway. It was interesting to him but not to his taste. He had learned long ago that the Sith concept of art was largely lost on him. Growing up on Rattatak he simply had a different view on life than the native Sith of Korriban. The colors and tone of the pieces just seemed a little off putting to him. He could not stomach the inherent weakness in art or so he thought.

Walking through the gallery he checked the chron on his wrist and nodded to himself. He was early but not too early to be seen as too keen for the meeting. He wanted to make sure he knew the battlefield should it devolve to that. He refused to be caught with his pants down as it were and would ensure that if this was a waste of his time that the offending party would pay dearly for the intrusion.

The door slammed open and a woman in a cloak entered the library and approached him. She said “I asked for us to meet on this planet as it birthplace of this sith; now it will be the birth of it again. I want to establish connections for my plan to strengthen the sith and I’m starting with you. Now, what do you think is setting back most our empire the most?”

Artarion turned around from the painting he was viewing to look upon the woman who had entered the library. As she made a beeline for him, he assumed this was the source of the request to meet here. He looked her up and down as she approached and raised an aristocratic eyebrow. She was beautiful but this did not catch the eye of the Sith, he had seen beauty before, and it was usually a ruse to keep the attention from the real threat. He remained cautious as she approached, not greeting her in case he was wrong and wanting to feel her out.

Dropping his consciousness into the river of the Force, he drank shallowly for just a moment. He tested and saw that she too was Sith and he raised his awareness. This could be interesting at least, perhaps she sought to test his strength. That would prove to be a poor life choice if that was the case, possibly her last. As she got close, she began to speak, and this brought Artarion’s other eyebrow up to join its twin. Interest became surprise and Artarion immediately took a quick look around, wondering when the other shoe might drop.

Artarion determined that they were being paid no more attention than anyone else in the library and he turned his attention back to Maria. “While I admire your candor and to the point style, perhaps we should begin with introductions. I am Artarion Sekt as you apparently know. Might I ask who you are who wants me to possibly commit treason by speaking out against the True Emperor in a public place?” Artarion smiled quietly and looked around, trying to appear to be having a pleasant conversation and hopefully keep others from listening in.

“That’s not at all what I’m asking we are in service to the one true emperor but instead we take initiative through spec ops and the like on enemies especially those wretched huts. Oh Lord, do I hate those hutts but first we need members and members are important” she says confidently. She then begins to think to herself


“After becoming free I swore to bring vengeance on every last hutt and this is finally my chance do it however they aren’t our primary target anymore since mandos, Republicans and the such seem to be a bigger pain in the Ass currently.

Artarion looked the woman up and down once more, narrowing his eyes a bit as he did so. He really did not know what to make of this person who apparently refused to introduce herself. He considered her words, trying to find some semblance of what she was talking about. Her ideas were all over the place, but he thought he had the main idea pinned.

“So you want members for something to fight against the Hutts, is that correct?”

He hoped he had understood the woman correctly, he would at least like to understand the conversation before entering it. Then again, he also wanted to know who this person was, but we don’t always get what we want. He still was not entirely sure this was not some bored Darth’s trick or a joke of some type. He could certainly see that as it might even something he did one day.

“That is One of our goals” she says “First we need to construct a base of operations and secure things to fuel our efforts.” Now, we...I...would be willing to give you much in exchange for membership but if you want credits...It would take me some time to acquire...What do you want or need?” She then begins to think “well, We are in the need for new members and this one looks perfect.Hopefully, this goes well but I got to have something I can do.” @Critas
