Meeting an old friend

It has been three days since the Jedi Master Reland Gil declared war with the Sith. Kheera openly asked for help that day and was surprised when an old friend contacted her.

Kheera, the graceful Diathim wandered the halls of the Galactic Evolution. It has been her third day here on the ship, but the small hallways and lifeless air were still new to her. Even more importantly, she still couldn't find her way in the ships. But besides all of these points, it gave shelter to the Jedi, which was the most important after all. The woman slid her pale hands in her sleeves as she looked around the ship. The atmosphere in the ship wasn't the best. With the upcoming war, the Jedi order has been training nonstop. Stress, sadness, fear and anger were noticeably felt in the hallways. It wasn't weird though, not at all. Many Jedi Padawans had no Master and lacked training, yet they couldn't stay behind and skip the fighting. Kheera was one of those Jedi Padawans. While she had plenty of training before, she was everything but war-proof and without a Master, for now.

Sunken away in her thoughts, Kheera walked blindly into a Jedi Padawan, causing them to both crashed towards the ground. The Diathim directly jumped up and offered her hand towards the Padawan. "I'm so sorry! I didn't see you, I hope that I didn't hurt you? Please, tell me if I did. Oh gosh I'm so sorry!" A wave - or rather, a tsunami - of words came out of her mouth and hit the Padawan. The young man, who was as tall as her, just shook his head and wandered off. Kheera sighed softly, corrected her Jedi Robes and continued with her wandering. After a couple of minutes, she rolled her eyes towards the comlink on her wrist and noticed the clock. It was about time to meet the old friend! Well, friend... Kheera saw her as a friend, but in reality, they've only shared one lesson together so far. Yet that didn't make Kheera less excited or happy, the woman was kind and warm-hearted towards Kheera and she couldn't wait to see her again.

The two planned to meet up in one of the resting rooms onboard the Galactic Evolution. Luckily enough for Kheera, she was rather close to the western resting room. Her wandering turned into a more hopping movement as she moved over towards the room. Kheera got a bit nervous, the woman didn't quite say why she wanted to meet Kheera. She stayed rather mysterious about it all. But that nervousness fell off her shoulders as she stopped in front of the resting room and a bright smile appeared on her peach pink lips. The Diathim took a deep breath and layed her hands against the door, pushing it slowly open.

Khelsea waited in one of the resting rooms onboarda the Galactic Evolution. Slightly confused, she sat cross-legged in a comfortable chair. She wasn't sure what exactly motivated her to act, even after thinking about the fact. She had heard about Kheera's plea for help and she had also taught the young Diathim woman before, so perhaps that was what motivated her. Not to mention that since she had been promoted to a Knight, she had seen many other padawans receive their promotions after she had. But unlike her, they were quick to take on one or more padawans, training them to the best of their abilities. Meanwhile, she had been completing missions and focusing on self-improvement, which while a good goal, was something she had already been doing as a padawan. She had felt several times that the time had come for her to find a padawan, but there was none that really stood out to her. Kheera was a standout for several reasons, and Khelsea would make the most of their upcoming partnership.

"Oh hi Kheera, it's great to see you again! Come in!" Khelsea waited for the padawan to enter and sit down, before offering what she had in mind to Kheera. "I was interested in taking on a padawan or perhaps two in the future, and I was wondering if you'd be interested? I heard what you said during Master Reland's announcement, and I feel like we could be a good team. We're different in many ways, so not only will I be able to teach you, but I'll be able to learn from you as well. You don't have to give me an answer right away, but let me know what you think?"

Kheera's eyes sparked up as saw Khelsea right in front of her in the room. Excited, the Diathim pushed open the door completely and rushed over towards the Jedi knight, followed up by a big and warm hug. The hug might've seen out placed for Khelsea, however, Kheera hugged almost every living thing. Even rocks. "Oh I'm so happy to see you again!" She called out while sitting down next to the woman in a rather comfortable chair. For some reason, it felt as if her body was getting hugged by the soft pillows on the chair. Kheera pressed her hands against the pillow below her to feel what the material is made off. "Mhhh" she mumbled softly, before turning her attention back to Khelsea as she was about to tell her something.

The young Diathim couldn't believe her ears when Khelsea offered her to become her Padawan. For a second, she stayed quiet, letting the offer sink in, but the quietness and peace didn't stay for long. A bright grin appeared on her face, followed up with a whirlwind of words. "Oh Khelsea, I would love to be 'em Padawan! You were such an amazing teacher before and you are so sweet! Oh it'll be weird to call you Master Khelsea now. Or... Hm I can't even remember 'em last name. But that would be so amazing! Yes yes yes!" While talking, Kheera leaned closer and close towards Khelsea, almost spitting in her face from joy.
