Tessa realized that to obtain an easier state of mind, she was going to have to focus on her meditation. It was obviously difficult, with her having several other Padawans on board, not to mention the crew on the Harlequin. It was difficult to concentrate at all, to say the least.

So, the girl decided to take a small break from everyone. Go her own way; find herself. Find something to make her meditation easier...

Due to her spending so much time on Tython and Empress Teta respectively, she's read and caught up on plenty of lore. The girl has been reading much about Grandmaster Yoda and his acquaintances lately. One of which was Ki-Adi-Mundi, a Cerean. In turn, she began to read on Cereans, then Cerea. Of note was a naturally occurring crystal that aided in concentration and meditation.

Intrigued, the girl read more, then set out to find one. She'd need to speak to the natives to learn how to successfully carve one to release even more calming sensations, but that could easily be arranged.

As of now, the girl had chartered a ship to Cerea, which was in the Mid-Rim, however it was close to the "edge" of the Galaxy, so they had their own unique culture. Of which, they were technophobes. The girl needed to find some place isolated to land, but close to civilization, and more importantly, a Kasha cave.

After a few hours of traveling through hyperspace on the small, cramped, chartered ship, the young Padawan found herself looking at a very peaceful, serene planet. It was brilliantly forested, with a few small mountains and large hills here and there.

The ship found a nice, grassland area surrounded by a thicket of trees. It looked like there was a settlement to the northeast. Perhaps they could help her find what she needed.

Placing her Lightsaber in her sleeve, the girl quickly picked up her pace, sprinting through the aid of the Force toward the settlement. Sure, Force Speed was nice, but the girl knew if she used it too much, she'd easily be tired out.

After ten minutes of intense running, the girl came to the village gates. She regained her composure, flipped down her hood to show that she meant to be kind and open, not dark and mysterious, and pushed through.

The amount of activity was amazing. She saw very few males. The amount of females was astounding. Everyone in the village seemed to have a specific job. You had the elders, the farmers, the herders, the builders, the weavers... It was all a sight to behold.

The young padawan slowly approached an elder. She seemed to be swarming with wisdom.

The girl offered a bow.

"I am Padawan Tessa. I come in search of a Kasha crystal and the knowledge of how to carve one so their energies may flow better. Who must I see to learn this art and where must I go to find the crystals?"

"Greetings, Padawan Tessa. I am Shyln, elder of this Clan. You must seek out our artisan, Tanim, to learn this art path. The Kasha crystals... You must search deep within the mountains north of here. You will find a cave. You must enter and remove the crystal, then bring it back for carving,"

The girl dipped her head respectively and in thanks, then set off.

The girl moved thoroughly towards the mountain the old woman had pointed to. However, before she exited the village, the girl knew she must find a way to reach the mountain simply. The charter ship had already left and would return in twelve hours, so that was out. She set to the farms, in search of a beast of burden to use.

In the end, she found one. An Aryx farm, the owners harvested their meat and eggs. After a small conversation, the girl purchased one. The girl knew it would be difficult to have on a ship. However, she supposed she could keep it docked on a place like Empress Teta until she got her own ship.

Placing a saddle on the Aryx, the girl mounted and hitched it, then encouraged it to run.

The avian moved much faster than she expected, causing the girl to lurch forward, gripping onto the large bird with her small frame. It sped her through the forest, already heading toward the mountain by the young girl's guide.

The journey to the mountains was uneventful, thank goodness. Save for the long ride and the poor Aryx being extremely tired, the two were fine. Upon arriving at a small stream, the girl unmounted and let the creature drink. She brushed it with her hand and used her training in Animal Friendship to speak to it.

Do not leave. You may rest and drink and eat, but do not leave this place until I mount you.

After a few gulps of water, the Aryx settled herself down and tucked her head in to take a small nap while the girl finished the search on her own.

Tessa began to sprint through the use of the Force once more. It shouldn't be too difficult to find a place like the cave, especially in a mountainous area like this. The Kasha glowed gold, it should be like finding a house amongst this place...

In an effort to continue her search, the girl pulled out a compass, heading northward on into the small strand of mountains. The cold, crisp wind, buffeted her slightly, however it wasn't enough to keep her down.

Passing higher into the mountains, the girl began to notice a faint glowing gold. It wasn't the sun, it was something on the current domed mountain she was on. The young girl moved toward it cautiously, almost as if it were a cave full of candy.

The girl entered, observing the nearby crystals. They were round in shape. They'd be refined to stocky cylinders for meditation and cosmetic purposes. Their golden glow reflected a star, which life derived from. The girl could focus on it and bring peace of mind simply and effectively.

The cave was definitely a Force nexus as well. Tessa took a deep breath, then drew her lightsaber as she began to cut into the wall to bring out a crystal a little larger than both her hands.

Putting it in her pack, the girl began the lengthy descent, back to her Aryx.

The girl had easily returned to the village within around a five hour period. The poor Aryx looked absolutely exhausted. However, Tessa had to find the artisan. After being pointed in the right direction by a few locals, the girl stationed her Aryx and allowed it to sleep calmly.

There, she entered the artisan's house. He had been expecting her, and so the two began working right away.

"It's easiest to fashion if you place it in the furnace on a lower temperature. That way, it doesn't melt, but it becomes easier to manipulate to etch patterns into and to make it more circular,"

Tessa nodded, following his lead. He was redoing his own Kasha, so the girl would simply follow his exact steps.

"Now you must etch patterns into it. We'll be using a mold, so take this, and apply it,"

Tessa followed as instructed, the girl was intrigued by it, to say the least. The pattern was ancient looking. As the crystal began to re-harden to it's golden form, they removed the molds.

"Very well done,"

As she finished, the girl thanked the man and boarded her Aryx. She started off towards the clearing where she'd be picked up by the ship and flown back to Empress Teta.

((Sorry for the short posts if someone's reading this. This was mainly to get something quickly for an upcoming thread. :,D))
